I went to another bank for a short time and that made me appreciate Capital. Citiy’s outstanding customer service and support more than I ever had before. I love the personal treatment I receive, like all of them are my Nextdoor neighbors

Awesome Customer service very helpful Mrs Shannon Osgood was awesome she went all the way into helping me set up my account and made me feel very safe and she also is the best capital city bank has to offer I give 5 stars for awesome customer service and very nice and Dependable

Nikia was busy but took the time to help me open an account anyway because the other were going to be a while. She was quick and efficient and solved the problem I had for a few days in just 10 minutes. Branford capital city bank, especially Nikia, is the best.

Mrs. Osgood was simply the most helpful person I’ve ever dealt with in a bank, and she had a very nice pencil holder. I highly recommend this bank; very efficient people.

Was in a hurry I was greeted by a knowledgeable :) that immediately took me into her office got my business taken care of within 25 to 30 minutes everything was done And I was back on the road. It is a really cozy type of small community bank that is perfect for this area

I have had great experiences with Capital City Bank, Branford Office. They have caught and notified me about attempted fraud on two occasions and have helped me resolve issues on several occasions. I would recommend going to the branch and getting to know the personnel there and letting them become familiar with you. Whenever I have needed assistance, they have been available and have been ready and willing to help. Most of the time, they solve the issue on the spot. When they have been unable to solve the issue right then, they have been patient and reassuring and have explained the process and timeline for resolving the issue. I have called the bank on numerous occasions to ask questions. When I could not get through immediately, I left a message and a banker returned my call within a day or two. I would recommend Capital City Bank as a community bank.

worst bank ever, they act like they care but in all reality they just want your money regardless, not once was i texted, emailed, or my card didn't even decline for a week racking up 35 dollars in over draft charges per use, ending up in a 700 dollar overdraft charge, i'll admit it was my mistake for miss handling my money, but they could have at lest sent some type of messaging letting me know i was getting low or had reached my limit.

The Capital City Bank branch in Branford is the worst bank that I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. They are incompetent and indifferent. My dad had a couple of accounts there, and one had at least $200,000 in it. He married a woman and put her name on the accounts. She changed his preferences so he would no longer receive paper statements and started wiring money out of the account to a bank in Texas. My dad found out when he tried to pay for something and the check bounced. Capital City's attitude was indifferent-she's on the account, she can do what she wants with the money. If you were running a bank branch in a small town and saw hundreds of thousands of dollars disappearing at a high rate of speed, wouldn't you be the least suspicious or concerned, particularly if this was unusual for the account holder? Not if you're Capital City Bank. When my dad passed, we had to get his estate settled, so we tried contacting Capital City Bank. The accounts were payable on death to my adult son. This was during the pandemic, so they were handling their business by appointment only. Apparently Capital City Bank thought this meant they never had to answer their phone. About 3 months later, my son was able to meet with them. He completed whatever paperwork he needed to complete. However, my dad had my son's birthdate wrong on the accounts, and it took Capital City a week to let him know. I guess they were so busy ignoring phone calls they couldn't get around to it. So he got that straightened out, and they said they would mail him a check for whatever was left in the account. A few weeks later, THEY MAILED HIM A MONEY ORDER, AND CHARGED THE ACCOUNT 5.00 FOR IT! THEY COULD HAVE SENT A CASHIER'S CHECK, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE SECURE, SINCE IT WAS A FAIRLY SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF MONEY!!! If anyone is thinking about doing business with Capital City Bank, I would think twice about it, then walk away. They are incompetent and indifferent. I only had to give them a star to post the review. They are really worth 0 stars.

Worst bank I have ever used,drafts taken out at the convenience of the bank with no rhyme or reason or particular order, customer service is terrible,and hours of operation are pitiful,this bank used to be one of the best now it has turned in to an establishment of greed and deception.
