I absolutely admire the social workers here. They go above and beyond to help those in need. We are blessed to have them guide us and extend the extra hand.

If you need rental assistance GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! You have wait forever for an appointment, get all these documents together to wait some more then you get an advocate that “speaks” on your behalf. You get approved for a portion of what’s needed and told you have 5 days to pay what’s remaining before you get assistance ( if I had money I wouldn’t need assistance!!) in the midst of my 5 days I was dealing with my father having a stroke. I reached out to my advocate through email and phone with NO response. Now I get to deal with eviction and a sick Father

I have been a volunteer at the Riverview branch of ECHO for almost 2 years. Our new space (the old Riverview Library) is so open & amazing, plenty of room to serve many neighbors on a daily basis with clothing, food & counseling. The staff & volunteers are very warm & caring. I love working there. It is a place of love & joy, helping others to get back on their feet again with dignity & respect.

Echo is a great place to volunteer, as you work directly with the people that need your help most. I highly recommend volunteering at Echo!

This is the best place for help in the Southeast Hillsborough county area. They are kind and courteous and help with no judgement. They also will help through the entire stabilizing process which includes helping with finding a job

Definitely the most outrageous thrift store that I've been too. It was clean and the workers were pleasant but that's not why I check out thrift stores. I saw tee shirts for $10 and they just stuck a sign up stating "vintage" they had placemats for $30. Yeah, no thanks.
