I definitely would recommend this daycare to other parents as the staff is welcoming, caring and compassionate to children and parents. I am a hands on parent and love the opportunity to go and visit my children through out the day. Ms. Wendy is very understanding. I am also grateful for the teachers Ms. Maria, Ms. Shonda and Ms. Janice for their ability to understand and work with my children's learning styles. Beyond grateful for the opportunity to have my children in such a loving facility.

My son graduated VPK here in Mrs. Maria's class and I can't say enough good things about this place! We had some not so great experiences at other preschool facilities. Childerns Nest made my kid feel safe, heard, and taken care of! He actually trusted the teachers and the director, Mrs. Wendy, and it showed in his better behavior and willingness to learn in a classroom setting! My husband and I are very grateful for this school.

Ms. Wendy and the entire staff are top notch! My child is not an easy child, and has a lot of energy. From the moment we stepped in, they showed patience, affection, and professionalism. My kiddo loves to go to school to learn. They learn all the academic basics, but also about emotions and conflict resolution. We will definitely shed tears when we leave. I have no words to describe what they mean to us.

Absolutely loveeee all of the instructors here! Our kids had a blast with you all! They miss all of their friends and teachers so much. Ms. Kay, Ms. Candy & Ms. ReiAnna were more than amazing to my baby girl and both of my kids have learned a plethora of information during their time here. Ms. Wendy is extremely professional and I would HIGHLY recommend this location for anyone looking for VPK, regular child care or a loving team of amazing people!

My 2 kids have been going here for almost 2 years. They have loved every teacher that they have had. They get so upset when they get a promotion to the next class since they love their old teacher so much but end up happy again when they get to know the newer teacher.Miss Wendy takes the time to answer any questions very thoroughly. If there are ever any problems with my kids, Miss Wendy is very helpful in explaining options to help correct behaviors and move forward on a positive note. One of the factors that helped decide on Children's Nest was that they keep the kids from various age groups separated almost the entire day. I visited some other places after work and multiple places had all of the kids, large and small, in the same room. The 2-year olds would be getting mowed over by the after-school kids. If all of the kids are together at the end of the day, they are all sitting down and under control.I like that there are outside vendors that come in for extracurricular activities. My kids currently participate in dance and soccer classes. It gives them a chance to see if they like an activity before we make an investment in a more substantial league.I am very happy with Children's Nest. They employ wonderful teachers that my kids adore. My son had absolutely no interest in learning to write prior to starting here. They inspired him and now he is driving me crazy always asking me to spell words for him :) They flipped a switch that I was not able to reach. They have been great in helping me potty train my daughter. I have not had to worry that all of the work that I do at home is cancelled out when sent to school. They supplement my efforts entirely. There is so much more. I appreciate the time that they take with my kids. The little things matter as much as the big ones, and I feel that both are being met.

From one parent to all others: I DO NOT recommend that you send your child to Children's Nest Brandon. I enrolled my daughter when she turned 1yr old, in Fall 2018. From the jump, it seemed like a perfect balance of good care, safe environment, and affordability. However, always remember what my husband and I failed to consider:. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.I've had to alert the Director (Ms. Wendy) multiple times about a teacher yelling at a child (not mine) unnecessarily. Oh, and then there was the teacher who left my child and all the other one year olds on the playground, so she could sit inside and play on her phone.Ultimately, Ms. Wendy addressed my concerns as I brought them up, until it came to the safety of our children. For the past year, the front door security system has not been consistently functional. Leaving the door unlocked, and unattended. Many parents didn't even know it wasn't working, because nobody from the daycare communicated anything to parents.I checked the door daily, and Everytime it didn't work, I alerted Ms. Wendy, who placated me until I couldn't handle it anymore. I then reached out to the owner, Tripp. I'd never met this man (don't you think the owner should be a bit more involved in his building and his families?). However, our conversation started out positive. He listened to my concerns and agreed with me that he needed to find a better solution than "hoping the door would just fix itself."So he called in a different company to look at the door, but they couldn't come out for over a week. I asked him if he'd be willing to keep the door locked, so parents have to ring the bell, until he could get it fixed. He was unwilling to do this on a regular basis, and had every excuse as to why he needed to think more about the business aspect than just this one issue. To me, this one issue IS HIS WHOLE BUSINESS. With a locked front door, our kids have that many more seconds to get to safety if God forbid anything were to happen. Ms. Wendy wasn't willing to ensure this type of safety and Tripp didn't want to jeopardize the convenience of his employees. I'm sorry guys, but when it comes to our kids, SAFETY IS NOT ALWAYS CONVENIENT, but that shouldn't matter.Just the other day I pulled up to not only an unlocked front door, but my daughter's classroom door left wide open. Ms. Wendy blamed a parent for leaving without closing that door. I guess she didn't realize that I was the first parent of the one year olds to arrive that morning, and it was open when I arrived. Hmmm. Not to mention, when I entered the unlocked door, Ms. Wendy and Ms Shonda were sitting right there in perfect view of the wide open classroom door. I'm curious why neither of them felt the need to get out of their seats and close it?!Ms. Dalia is quite literally the only amazing and wonderful part of Children's Nest in Brandon. She's the morning teacher in the one year olds room. She took care of my daughter like she was her own baby. I'm forever grateful to Ms. Dalia. I only wish that she worked for people who felt the same way about the safety and security of all of those children.I evenhad the manager of Child Protective Services have a candid conversation with Tripp regarding child safety. With the laziness and lack of urgency and the feeling they gave of not caring about safety as the main priority over all else, I've chosen to pull my daughter from this place. We will miss Ms. Dalia, but with my daughter turning two and leaving Ms. Dalia to be with the teacher who unnecessarily yells at children in the twos room, it's a great time for us to seek a more secure and loving environment for our child.I hope that every parent reads this before enrolling at CN in Brandon. Speak out. Be heard. Don't let anyone jeopardize the safety of your child, or mine.Kind regards.

I absolutely loved the school since the very first visit. I've had really bad experiences with several daycares in the Brandon area but after my child enrolled here he loves it. I feel a sense of ease and peace in trusting the staff and facility with my baby boy. I can almost refer to them as family in such lil time only about 4 months . They do an amazing job with my son and the kids . I feel my son has learned a lot with his teacher Mrs. Cristina and now new class with Mrs.janice . Also Thank you Mrs.Wendy for an amazing staff and very well managed and sanitary daycare. We love you guys ... Ps.. Brooks Family

My daughter has been coming here for 2 1/2 years. She loves it. The teachers and staff are friendly; caring, courteous and very attentive the the child's needs. The only thing I would really hope they improve is being able to pay online or with a credit card at the center. Otherwise, I love the center. Thank you for everything you DO!! Melisha.

I really enjoy watching my son's progress through VPK at the Children's Nest. The teachers are quite interactive not only with the children, but the parents as well. They truly make you feel like they are there to support and guide to the first steps of school and give you child confidence in their abilities.

I cannot say it enough how impressed I am with Children's Nest; My girls have been going here for 2 years now and they have excelled as young ladies due to the wonderful teachers here. I would recommend to any parent to explore Children's Nest if you want your child to excel not only Academically but Socially as well.
