Super unhelpful and rude. Went to ship a box. Didn’t come to help until I rang bell, even though I was at desk in plain sight for more than a minute. Then yelled at me across store asking “what is it?” I was told they don’t print labels, which my code specified they do. Then I was told my teeny tiny box wasn’t taped, which they wouldn’t help with or ship. Just feels like some small person on a power trip, but I’m not going back there.

000+++ ! I had a 2 pm lab appointment @ Walgreens Lab Corp on 6/6/24. I arrived early around 1:30 and checked in from my vehicle. I walked in and I was the only black person in the waiting area. The technicians looked all over me. @ 1:56 she called my name then 2 loss prevention employees came in and the lady which was of another went in to talk to the technicians and asked them to put the gentleman in front me and say that his appointment was @ 1:45 which it was already past this time. Mind you everyone that they put in front of me was white race. I felt I was being discriminated against so I walked because I did not want anyone who is racist and unprofessional to poke a needle in my arm to draw blood. I will never ever go to Manatee Ave West Lab Corp again. I gave them a 1 rating but they deserve a 0 and a DISCRIMINATION LAW SUIT!!??

John (shift lead) is just a lazy and rude person.
Ask for help about something and acted like I was wasting his time then proceeded to groan and moan when having to walk and show me somewhere.

Huge shout out to Carlus and Christelle. Two of the best employees I’ve encountered at Walgreens. Christelle greeted me and helped me get started on a package return to FedEx. As this was happening, another customer in her 70s fell. Christelle was the first one the scene to help out. About three other employees from Walgreens ran over to assist as well, but I did not get their names. Right after this incident, Carlus saw I was struggling preparing the package to send through FedEx. (Christelle was working the register and the line was building up) Carlus immediately came up to me and offered assistance and promptly got the package completed and shipped off. Both of these employees were super friendly and helpful! They definitely deserve at least a shout out for going above and beyond their normal job description duties. Thank you Walgreens for finding good human beings to help employ at your store

I have been going to walgreens pharmacy for past 10 years...there are two pharmacists that are very personable and give great customer service. Josh and Steven-I believe I give 5 stars. due to these 2 pharmacists....
I can only imagine how busy it gets for the people working in the pharmacy......besides helping the patients in line they are working on hundreds of scripts if not a thousand a day, plus vaccines, helping customers with over the counter questions....etc.
A little bit patience goes a long way...

There is no way to get through to this Walgreens pharmacy you are put on hold repeatedly then hung up on. I called twice both times put on hold repeatedly. This is unacceptable.

I’m a receptionist at a wellness/medical center here in Bradenton & I only ever have trouble/problem calling in prescriptions to this pharmacy. I’ve sat on hold for 40 minutes then get hung up on then I call back & continue to sit on hold to get hung up on AGAIN. Currently been sitting on hold for 30 mins…only because the prescription I called in for our patient yesterday says that Walgreens is “waiting for us to call them” Walgreens never reached out to us to let us know they needed further information. All around horrible customer service. I understand you can be busy but this is a different level…so unprofessional.
UPDATE: I was on hold for 1 hour & 34 mins then got hung up on. DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS!

Josh the pharmacist is SO helpful! Wow, I had something that needed authorization & had complications but he explained it perfectly. He also ACTUALLY called me back when he found a medicine that he didn't think they had. REALLY? Going the extra mile is so rare these days and thank you Walgreens for hiring Josh & please recognize his extra efforts.

I switched to the manatee ave location because it’s closer to our new home, but after my two experiences this week with the pharmacy, I’ll be switching back to by old location. On Monday it took until 3pm for my daughter’s antibiotic to be ready for pickup when they were sent in 9:30am. Today my daughter’s steroids and cough med she needed for croup was called in at 9:15, but wasn’t ready until 5:30pm. And that was after several phone calls- waiting on line for 30 mins, being hung up on, then being told by the pharmacist it’s a busy location and finally calling a again same pharmacist saying no one came to help him, so he finally just did my daughters Rx when I called at 5:30pm… mind her pediatrician wanted her first steroid dose done this morning after her appt. Poor service, very rude, and individual can’t take accountability for their poor service.

The pharmacy members here are the best. I have several conditions that require meds, so I've been to many pharmacies throughout the years and unfortunately had bad experiences at almost all of them. But at this Walgreens, they make everything so easy for me, and it's such an enormous relief knowing that I can rely on them. They're just genuinely great at what they do, very kind, and very helpful. I'm eternally grateful.

Please update your Google hours for the pharmacy. It states it is open 24 hours. It's not and the cashier said it had not been since covid. Prescriptions were called into this location and unable to get them.

Fix your damn hours online if your going to close pharmacy early. Drove across town to the 24hr pharmacy for it to be closed. Not fun when sick!
