Carriers falsely claim "No Access to Delivery Location" to protect their metrics. In reality, they're running late or maybe it's raining. If there isn't a relevant code, USPS needs to add some. If my package says "Out for Delivery", I assume someone is getting paid to deliver?

Window clerks Moneisha, Matt and Coco are super friendly and helpful. If all window clerks were like this, everyone would have a wonderful postal experience.

Odd experience, customer service could be better. Will be using a different location from now on.
1. You have to buy your own tape- be aware, even though online might say otherwise. Not the worker's fault, or so I assume, but why would a post office not supply tape? Every other post office I have been to has packing tape you can use. And instead of helping me out, the worker whom I was speaking with, a tall-ish black woman with blonde braids at the time, told me "we do not supply tape, we only sell it" in a bit of a condescending way. So I paid $4 for a tiny bit of packing tape. Again maybe that is protocol, I just feel that a post office should have a roll of tape for customers to use in a pinch. (Before someone lectures me about not having it taped, I had just moved into a new location and my tape is packed away, no reason a place dedicated to SHIPPING MAIL does not have tape for customers to use)
2. She then asks to see the phone I am shipping, and I am a little weirded out by that, but I say sure. So I unpack it, and she picks it up and inspects it. I have never had a worker ask to inspect the item inside the package before I have even paid to ship it, so maybe that is just protocol. But according to quick research I did, only certain people are allowed to inspect packages. I just found this odd, never happened to me before.
3. I had googled previously that the insurance for my item was only $12. Knowing this, after I get my tape, I go back in line a SECOND time and am being helped by middle aged bald man. I ask for the insurance. He says it'll be $100. I am clearly alarmed by this price hike, so I tell him to cancel that, and I go out of line to do more research. After he makes me pay for the $4 tape, of course. And I find the site showing the $12 price. So I get back in line, with the black woman employee again. I show her the screen and politely ask if it is accurate, and she condescendingly goes "that is not us, so I do not know", even though it is literally an article about the USPS prices. But she rings it up with the insurance, and lo and behold it is the same exact price on that website. Which is also strange, because the bald man told me that the insurance would be $100. And he let me step out of line AGAIN and waste time in a second transaction, instead of correcting himself and saying the correct price.
4. Just other weird little interactions, like when I am making sure the sharpie is dry on the tape, so it doesn't smudge, the black woman goes "that is a permanent marker." Like I am not an idiot, I know it is permanent. I just wanted to make sure it was dry.
Overall, I found the customer service to be lacking, and the employees condescending, and unhelpful. I felt as if I were being treated as a criminal, which has never happened to me before I visited this particular location.

They are terrible at delivering packages ? this isn't my stuff but for them leaving packages lockers open like this isn't good cause anyone can steal people packages and this locker is supposed to be lock and secured.

Had alot of issues with this usps for one they leave package doors open with packages in the mail box and I live in a mobile home park and instead of them coming to my house they put the notice of a miss package in my mailbox that's not at my driveway. I have a lock box for my mail box and it isn't close to my house so how and the hell am I suppose to be at my mail box at a certain time. If that's the case they should call you when they arrive. I work for Uber Eats and I can say the uber eats does away better job then these usps.

This particular post office location sucks!!! They’re always losing my mail always late picking up and delivering mail and no remorse for me when I tell them my packages are being lost all the time!! the post man or woman is not doing their job correctly or checking/scanning packages. The front desk people also suck it’s like they don’t want to don’t want to do their job either…and always so freaking rude when you ask them something!!!

I sent a certified mail letter on April 18, 2024 to a Clearwater, Florida address. As of April 26, 2024 USPS tracking reveals that the letter moved from the Bradenton Post Office where I mailed it from to your Sarasota distribution center on April 25, 2024. How it takes over a week to transport a simple certified mail letter one county away is an absolute mystery. The fact that over a week has passed and it still has not been delivered to its destination one county to the north is a travesty. The United States Postal Service used to be reliable, but no more.
Compounding the USPS’s inability to deliver this simple letter was the nonexistent, combative, and disrespectful customer service, excuses, and outright derision over my concerns by the front desk clerk, named Moneisha, at your Bradenton location at 824 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205–9998. I left your location feeling not valued as a customer.
When I questioned Moneisha as to why it was taking over a week for a certified mail letter of no significant weight to make it from Bradenton to Clearwater and what I could do about the situation, my concerns were met by Moneisha with condescension and derision. They were not addressed with sincere concern, but rather excuses. When I attempted to escalate the situation to a supervisor, I was met with a series of roadblocks.
While Moneisha was quick to offer up the name of the supervisor at the location, Harry Peterson, Moneisha refused to provide her last name, and refused to provide a complaint card. It seems the theory is that if you make it difficult for a customer to complain about a Postal employee, they won’t do so.
Examples of Moneisha’s statements included:
1. That the USPS does not control the delivery dates for FIRST CLASS MAIL. This is absurd. What is the purpose of purchasing certified mail is when USPS can’t deliver it in a reasonable amount of time to its destination 1 county to the north" I’ve had better experience with non-certified, non-return receipt mail than this service for which customers pay extra.
2. That I should consult with my local congressman over the unreasonable delay.
3. That it was not unusual for mail to take 10 DAYS for it to be delivered. It is obvious that it should not take 10 days to deliver a letter from Manatee County to Pinellas County.
4. That I should consider canceling the check enclosed with this mailed letter since it was lost.
5. That I was JUST upset that I did not get the answer that I wanted.
6. That no supervisor was available because he was probably out helping postal carriers.
After servicing another customer, Moneisha turned to me and asked “whether I thought the customer service she provide to that person was good.” This “in your face attitude” reflected very poorly on the United States Postal Service.
In a brazen attempt to upsell me, Moneisha suggested that I should have Express Mailed the letter overnight at a cost of $30.00 to Clearwater, because “if we don’t deliver it on time then you can get a refund of your money.”
Overall, Moneisha's demeanor was belligerent, sarcastic, unhelpful, dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. This type of customer services does not represent the United States Postal Service well. The service received in connection with this simple delivery was unacceptable.

I have a certified letter sent to me from Virginia and it made it to Sarasota in two days but to have it sent eleven miles to Bradenton has taken it so far 14 days the tracking info says “in Transit to next facility “and the Bradenton office doesn’t know anything at all they said we don’t know where it is and can’t tell you when it will be here they just hold their hands up say we don’t know and don’t care now I sent a letter from Bradenton to Richmond Va and it made it in three days but since I don’t get my certified letter I have lost out on a sale which has cost me thousands

I guess I'm not the only one that hates the post office...Nobody knows anything and never answers the phone..its totally frustrating. I would rather pay extra to do business with UPS.

I am renting a home here and had received several deliveries from usps on this most recent delivery I tracked the pkg to find out that they returned it to sender because they say the home is vacant. How could they not leave a note or attempt redelivery ?
