Had engine installed two and a half years ago. Radiator all hoses ,belts , belt tensioner ( paid for new,just painted old) new spark plugs and wires, new complete spider shaped injection system)( so he says).total cost about $5000.00( “ buddy price “).Made it about 400 miles before wrist pin in engine gave out.Was warrantied.Ordered new engine. He charged the manufacturer another $3000.00 to reinstall ( no new parts)Charged me the tax on this bill.Had a falling out with him since.Took vehicle to Midas ( brother in law works there, honest)The valve covers leak, oil pan leaking, front seal leaking ,and parts that I thought were new are not.I’ve also seen him tell customers that he’d replaced parts that I’ve seen him actually painting the old parts an reinstall themMy coil, wires, crank sensor all need replaced now because it wouldn’t start. Everything was supposed to be completely replaced and never was.He also was supposed to fix a leak in power steering. I paid for two power steering lines and still had leaks which now leads to yet another motormount needing replaced after only two years
