Absolutely love bringing my car to Suncoast Auto. It’s the only repair shop in town that I trust to do the work on my car. Both my husband and I love their fast work and honest advise on the repairs that should be done on our cars. Suncoast Auto repair has saved me and my family in many circumstances where my vehicle has failed me and ALWAYS tells me the good, the bad and the ugly because that’s what I need to hear to make an informed decision.
My transmission blew one day on the interstate and Shane got me a tow truck to his shop and took me through the whole process. A process that is very stressful and time consuming for someone but he made it smooth and seamless.
From big jobs like replacing the transmission, to replacing a tire, plugging a hole in them, to a routine oil changes and fluid fills.
You won’t be disappointed with them.
If anyone has a bad review about them, most likely it is because they don’t want to pay an honest price for a big job or they think they know better because Google said so.
This shop is family run, Florida natives and take care of their customers!
Use them if you want your car fixed and reliable.

Great repair shop. They fixed my old Honda Pilot so quick. Their technician was straight forward and got me up and running in no time. They fit me and got me back in the road. The price was SO reasonable and I couldn't ask for anything better. Thanks guys! I won't take my car anywhere else!!!
Update
We took another older car, our Nissan Frontier, and these guys continued to amaze us. I also work for a fleet management company,
and we see that these guys also do great work for our client's vans. Love these guys, thank you so much.

Whenever I have a problem or a scheduled maintenance with my vehicle, I always take it to Suncoast Auto Repair. The guys always take good care of me and my car and the prices are really reasonable. They are honest mechanics and I trust them for all my auto needs.

Took my 12 year old Chevy Avalanche pickup for a break check and check engine warning light on …also requested an overall maintenance check - tires, belts, fluids, filters, and tune up items…am getting ready to drive to NJ and wanted to make sure it was in good shape for the trip…never had an overall maintenance check done…Shane, the owner, could’ve come back with a long laundry list of things needing to be done - like the dealerships always do…but instead, the spark plugs needed to be replaced and one sensor on the the catalytic converter needed replacing…and that was it…said the truck was in good shape…Shane is an honest mechanic, reasonably priced and beyond that a genuinely nice guy…have already recommended him to others.Services: Auto exhaust system repair

If I could give this business 10 stars, I would! They have mainly worked on my daughter's car, which has needed a lot work. I always feel confident that they are not taking advantage of us. The latest problem was a huge safety issue and Shane made sure to have it repaired in a timely manner so that she could get back home safely. My daughter noticed he made an additional less important repair a few days later, he didn't mention it or charge us for it. At the end of the day, it's a business, but it's evident Shane puts the safety of his customers first! I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

I am very happy with the work they did on my 2012 Ford Fusion. They fixed an issue that another business in Sarasota refused to find, after I had work done at their shop to fix the A/C. So, after spending almost $1700. I now have the coldest A/C ever. Thank you.Service: A/C installation & repair

I left a big mess trying to DIY install a cat converter. The owner was great though and got everything cleaned up and working again with it ready to pickup the following day!
