I believe excellence is evidenced not only by how a business conducts itself when all goes well, but also by how a business conducts itself when all doesn't go well. This location, more specifically its' manager, Amanda, immediately exceeded my expectations when I called the morning after my pups grooming appointment to notify her she had been nicked by the clippers on her side. Rather than becoming defensive, Amanda immediately accepted responsibility for the injury on behalf of her employee, apologized profusely and offered immediate access to veterinary care (which thankfully wasn't necessary). She asked for pictures of the injury so I promptly emailed two to her. Within hours, she had determined who the groomer was and initiated internal protocols for handling a situation such as this one. That same day, my credit card was credited the full amount of the invoice I had paid. When working with live animals, there is always the risk of inadvertent injury. I love that this organization has a customer focused plan in place for handling this type of unfortunate situation. My pup has been groomed there several times in the past and I will continue to bring her there in the future. Accidents happen and I don't believe well run businesses should be destroyed by them. Thanks again Amanda & See Spot Grooming for your amazing handling of Copper's accidental injury.

Not the best at customer service and constant turn over. I am a local and a regular. Today our appointments were for 9:30 and I called at 9:37 to say I was bringing the dogs in. At 9:40 I had a voicemail I didn’t know about because I was driving. I get to the facility and wait 10 minutes for my turn to only be told I was cancelled because after 30 minutes it’s a cancellation. I was in before 30 minutes and they knew I was on my way. Still told I’d need to reschedule. This was the final straw.

I brought my Great Pyrenees there a few times, and I paid $260. I wasn't so impressed, especially since he used to get better grooming for not even half the price, but we had to leave our old groomer when we moved. I didn't even care how much they were charging, as long as they did a good job. So last time I took him there, I made sure to communicate exactly what I wanted. I asked specifically for his fur to be cut short, especially in the back. When I picked him up, I noticed right away that his fur was not cut at all. Then, a couple days later, my husband and I noticed that he had a lot of yellow plaques on his back. We freaked out because he is healthy and has never had skin issues. We took him to the vet right away, and we were told that he developed post-grooming furunculosis either because they were brushing against the hair harshly or because the tools had bacteria. I won't be turning back, but I wanted to warn others about this place.

I visit both Lakewood Ranch and Parrish locations and always have great experiences with multiple groomers. Everyone has delivered great results with my Yorkshire Terrier.

Very happy with our experience, price was quoted to us prior to our appointment and it’s exactly what we got in the end. Appointment was set same day we called, no long waiting. Our dog is extremely anxious type and its seems he liked his new groomer Amanda, he came out looking great, calm and ready for the party ? I think we finally found our place and hopefully we can stay with Amanda for future grooming.

My first visit with Autumn for my 12 yr old Australian Shepherd was very positive. She handled her with expertise and despite the fact that my pet is so nervous with grooming, she walked out fairly calmly. Two days ago with another groomer, whose profile says she usually handles smaller dogs, my pet walked out totally stressed. The groomer left her almost the same way I took her in. I had questioned whether she would be comfortable with my older pet, and I was reassured that she would be. I don’t want to leave the groomer’s name, that’s not the point of this review. What’s important to note is that not all groomers are comfortable with all dogs and perhaps lack experience in handling certain types of dogs as in my situation. Ask questions when making your appointments so as to avoid disappointment. I also didn’t appreciate their lack of transparency and honesty when I questioned them.

Excellent place to have your pets groomed. Friendly, clean, and they do an excellent service for grooming. Everyone I had the pleasure to talk to there gave me most respect. Tasha is excellent with my Sadie. I can trust them with her.

Took my baby to be groomed there and they did such a wonder job! They really knew how to take care of felines. 10/10 would recommend. I forgot the name of the lady who checked us in and groomed our kitty, but she was so gentle. I’m crying because it’s hard to find a cat groomer in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.

Paid an extra fee to have my dog's nails filed just to realize her nails weren't cut at all and are extremely long. Also gave my dog the wrong cut one time because they got her mixed up with another dog. Still paid full price.

We had been going to See Spot for over a year for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel since we moved here from Michigan. Although the prices were much higher than what I was used to in Michigan ($75 vs $60) I couldn’t find a better price anywhere else so I went with them. First haircut there I was told my groomer was training someone but that it’d be 2-3 hours. Once 4 hours hit I got worried and called to ask if something happened. I was told it was just taking longer because she was training someone. I told her it would’ve been nice to have gotten a phone call notice of that. I don’t mind if you’re training someone and it takes longer, just give me a heads up. All was fine after that since I stayed for a year. However, just last month I went in and they tell me as I’m checking in the price for his haircut has increased by $10. Mind you I have my toddler in tow and someone watching my baby at home. Scheduling things is not easy so I kept the appointment. I was shocked because I got no phone call or email notice of this beforehand. His new groomer at that appointment did a great job but I brought up my disappointment with the price change communication to the manager. All she said was something along the lines of “I understand I have kids too, I’ll let your groomer know your disappointment.” With that, we decided to not return to See Spot Grooming. It would have been nice if the previous grooming price was given for that appointment one more time, an explanation was given as to why the price increased, or some kind of compensation for the next appointment. I ended up finding a place that quoted me for $60 down the road instead.
