I’ve always preferred and love Quest labs- however Montel was super rude and argumentative with me the whole time..Started off by treating me like I was stupid because I didn’t notice a sign somewhere in the lobby. Rude about my dr’s orders not being in the system already, just a really bad attitude and belittled me because I didn’t notice the lobby being uncomfortably hot. She would not stop arguing with me and I literally almost walked out, then she couldn’t do her job (find a vein) and was impatient with me about that!?? Seriously, I was very uncomfortable with her in general and super angry by the time I left, if I have to have her again I won’t be back! She’s awful!. Worst time I’ve ever had there. Do Better Montel!

This Quest location is centrally located and easy to access..the waiting room is clean. Check-in is easy and quick. I had a 7:30 AM Appointment and had no wait time. Staff was professional and competent. I had my results in less that 24 hours. Incredible!

Initially got there for my 7AM appt and Amentra already had an attitude. She said I needed to have a paper script. I asked her if I could email it or if she could read it from my app and she said you have to email it. And gave me her email. I sent it over (no small talk, engagement at all). Whe. She got it she said “I need her NPI number”. I said that is the doctors assistant. That is his name and signature. She said again “I need HER NPI number.” She then handed me a card and said she can fax it over. I said it is 7am. I’m not even sure if there in the office yet. She said she had other patients and I could wait in the lobby until they faxed it over. A few seconds later I was able to stop another tech and explain what was going on. She asked for my name and said she would check and see if I was still in the Que. she told me she had to take yhe next person back but would follow up with me. She kept her word and in less than 10 minutes Tina graciously pulled my blood and made me feel like the day off I took wasn’t wasted. I finally left about 7:50 AM. She was night and day compared to the other girl. I thanked her and if I return to the manatee Ave location I will request her. No way will I EVER let Amentra near me or any family member with a sharp needle.

The schedule in advance and come to your appointment early went seamlessly. I waited for 5 minutes and was seen.

They automated check-in system messed up several.times while i was in the waiting room causing three peoples names to leave the list without being called back. When we asked an employee to check why, they got attitudes and siad they already called those names. They said my name was never checked-in which is a lie. Then they said they already called my name, which is also a lie. They then said it was too late to take my Urine Sample (10 minutes before closing) even though I was checked in 10 minutes before my 2:10 appointing. Sheryl the lady that took my sample was sweet as pie and I think she deserves a raise for having to work with other idiots.
