I had a terrible experience while picking up my sub yesterday. I come to find only
Half of my sub in the cold fridge while I had ordered a full sub to be toasted. I brought it up to the associate making the subs, Shannon, and she aggressively grabbed my sub and slammed it down next to her without acknowledging it. She never apologized nor looked up to say she’d work on it. It was just an inconvenience that I ordered for pick up and it wasn’t it complete.

so i have ALWAYS trusted publix, i live down the road from this specific one but usually do my orders on cortez publix, idk why its just how it’s always worked out. so we had my two year olds bday today (saturday). on thursday we ordered the food platters online and on friday morning i put in the order for my cake. listen, im not a complainer and very patient. i go in to the bakery to pick up my cake, it wasnt ready. i had did the order for pick up at 12 but it was maybe just 12, she was still working on it. fine, thats okay i had to go to the deli and pick up my other platters. i go to the fried chicken area very sweet kid helped me, he told me he couldn’t find my order. panicking i called the other manatee store and they said they had nothing, now im thinking i made a mistake with the order. while trying to figure out this problem, i go to pick up my cake. it was ready. i looked at it, and its a pretty cake but something seemed off. well (pictured) you can see the difference. it was bright pink vivid colors not pastel. we did have a themed party so it threw me off a bit. i just think it was rushed looking further at the cake. tasted great, no complaints there. just wasn’t what i expected. so i go to the deli and asked for my order there and the wonderful ladies there had my order. i was surprised because i was just told my order wasn’t there, but i was relieved and happy! they were so nice. i just think the pick up for platters are a little disorganized. the poor kid at the beginning really tried to look for it. but they had it at the deli, and that’s all i cared about. publix food is always a hit, chicken wings, sandwiches and the beautiful fruit platter! everyone i dealt with was friendly and kind. i just was disappointed in the cake appearance. i never have yet been disappointed and i have ordered about 3 cakes now for my kids bdays over the years. this one wasn’t my fav.

Was doing an order for mother’s day, Concetta i believe is how you spell is it, was very rude! I understand people get busy and people get frustrated- But by all means you shouldn’t be getting an attitude 3 seconds into the call when a customer is trying to explain the order to make it easier for them to understand. Even my mom looked at the phone with disgust when I had it on speaker. Loved everybody else i did orders with for a party I'm having Saturday she was the only one i struggled to get along with.

Has everything you need. A bit expensive for the fresh products. Parking spaces like everywhere in Florida, enough and large!!
