Very Bad tasting Birthday Cake, this is the 2nd year in a row and no customer service. We order the same cake twice a year, 30 yrs now and the last 2 cakes were bad. They were simple chocolate on chocolate cake, last year we all got sick so I threw the cake out. I called Publix and they said they couldn't do anything cuz I threw the cake out. This year the cake the frosting taste like "coffee", so I called the Publix bakery and they said "someone will call me".Well this is the last time ordering cakes from Publix and the poor customer service, I only can ask "what happened" this use to be a great bakery ?

This is the Best Publix in Sarasota /Bradenton area. Always friendly employees. The bathrooms Always very clean . This location is never out of stock.

Detra, the Deli Mgr, saved Thanksgiving. My family and I will forever be grateful. Due to a silly communication error our regular order didn't get placed. I thought he did it, he thought I did and really nobody did it. So we're on the scramble on Wed night at 9pm. I'm prepared to bury my head under many pillows until after Christmas when Detra came to the rescue. After discovering they were (of course) sold out, she literally ran to the back and hunted down each part of our Holiday meal. Every one knows that Publix has amazing customer service and now I know that this Publix also has at least one Angel. Thank you Detra for saving Thanksgiving!!!

Got to say some of the exhibits were a bit mind blowing in detail and scope- but then we had trouble operating the lockers on the way in! Certainly worth the visit- even if I can't remember a great deal about it. Maybe it was the thrill of being in an scientific cutting-edge institution. Café was good too!

I really like Publix bogos and I feel like when I shop at Publix I am in my local grocery store. The people that work at Publix are very friendly and very hopeful. They remember that the customer is the most important thing! Yes the groceries on a hole or a little bit higher but I really appreciate the experience being a customer at Publix!

Publix is always consistent from store to store. It's always clean and well stocked.They are great with their staff. There are always staff close by who will help you find things.Lots of choices with brand name products, plus Publix brand that's a great value. Not to mention Bogos.

The selection when it comes to the deli department it's kind of so-so and the employees at this particular not really up to par my favorite one is on Manatee Avenue near 43rd. The staff is good and the food is much better. Did you have a problem with their Heating element that keeps the food warm. It doesn't keep the food warm it's like lukewarm which I don't understand how that's safe. But they make the best subs at Publix with Boar's Head is the best way to go

The helpful nice people and service is the reason I keep going to Publix. We've lived in FL for 39 years...back and forth between SRQ and B'town and always shop at any Publix nearby. They're all great!

I love publix subs but I've just bit down on a hard piece of plastic in my sub from the deli. Appears to be some sort of cap for a bottle or something. Threw the rest of the sandwich away.

Publix is one of my all time favorite grocery chains just the service alone is enough to fulfill me they do a great job training their employees to make an at home feel. I salute the hard work and dedication out into the customer service area we are very grateful

Your store makes thousands of dollars off your customers, and you just keep raising the prices so now we can 't afford a week's worth of groceries !!Shame on your company for being so greedy!!!! Publix has a nice variety of vegetarian dishes that you can buy in the frozen section.Along with some gluten free dishes.Along with some dishes that don't have all the preservatives.Just a healthier way of looking at your meals.

I always hit the bakery and deli first. Best in town. The other supermarkets try to copy their baked goods but never as good. My go-to grocery store. Can find most everything I need. Only place I enjoy shopping even more is Longboat Key Publix on Gullf of Mexico Drive..Same great deli and hoagies and even better bakery than typical Publix. That's cause the tourists and rich folk shop there, they have more high end items as well, e.g. file mignon prepared fresh dinner with roasted potatoes and veg or dinners for one like chicken cordon Bleu or pork loin stuffed with asparagus and cheese served with baked sweet potato.
