Way Overpriced, nice people , .... What's with the "Asst Customer Svc "MgrS .... wander around doing nothing looking like .. " I hope I'm not asked to do anything.... I AM a MGR YA KNOW!!! While lines at checkouts. No wonder prices Thru roof! People stocking shelves VERY THOUGHTFULLY HELPFUL! The young people waiting you at deli seem annoyed by customers always wanting things... lol... yikes.. who hires some of these people. Obviously miserable. Maybe audit it with some of those "Mgrs" ?? lol.

One of the best Publix stores I've been to by far! Employees are nice even though they need to work a little on the deli side. But this Publix allows me to enjoy shopping!

ALEXIS ROCKS! This is my main Publix, this is where I do all my grocery shopping since it's so close to my new house. I'm super thankful to have such a great Publix, which is always clean, always stocks, and has the nicest staff. I love to come here for the pub subs on my lunch break, I've only ever had one issue here, but the one issue that I had (today) was resolved by Alexis. She is absolutely wonderful. If you ever have any issues, I would highly recommend you go into with her. but the overall staff and customer service is fantastic.

what kind of pharmacy closes for lunch?! also, they are closed on every holiday and it affects peoples ability to get their medicines when they need them. It seems like this company is still stuck in 1953. They need to be more accessible just nonsense of closing for lunch and closing on memorial day another ridiculous holidays that have nothing to do with providing medication to people in need.

I called in and ordered a sub for my lunch. at 11am. I asked for it to be ready by noon. the woman on the phone VERY RUDE. I get to Publix on my lunch break and my sand icy is not even ready. then I had to wait behind 2 people to REORDER my sandwich. The order paperwork was right in front of them. I wasted 18 minutes of my lunch ordering my food and waiting when it was suppose to be a GRAB AND GO. The woman who took my order was being nasty and did not complete my order. I only ga e it 3 stars because a guy named BRET in the deli made my food and he was very nice and made things better. I don't know who took my order in the deli but SHE WAS VERY RIDE! Karma will be back for her. I wouldn't recommend ordering anything over the phone because you're going to have to order it when you get there. Save your breathe.

I can’t say enough good things about the Pharmacists here at Publix in Lakewood Ranch. I have been a customer of CVS since they opened the location Across the street, however they lack the professionalism & customer service that this location provides..Both Pharmacists I have interacted with (Male & Female)were highly skilled & knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location. I will be transferring all of my family and my prescriptions immediately.Furthermore the staff is also very professional, which proves with good leadership, and structure from the top it trifles down.

Crazy high prices! Why? You guys are every 3 miles and have tremendous buying power! Hey, I drive half an hour to Trader Joe's in Sarasota and an Aldi just popped up less than 2 miles away. I'm guessing that as Aldi stores populate, that you are going to loose chunks of your former clientele. For example a package of Swerve at Publix is $8.99 and the same package at Walmart is $3.99. That's a $5 difference , so Publix is more than double the price! Ridiculous!

[What's in a name?] Well George Jenkins the founder opened the first stand-alone grocery store in Winter Haven, Florida, on September 6, 1930. He adopted the name "Publix" from a struggling New York-based movie theater company (with 19 opulently decorated movie houses in Florida) called Publix Theatres Corporation. Jenkins stated "Most of the theaters were closing up, and I liked the sound of the name, so I just took it for my store." They are true BOGOs where they don't jack the price up and then offer the BOGO, like some other grocery stores do. "Publix, where shopping is a pleasure", has been their motto forever, and for the most part it is true. The bigger the store, the larger the assortment of products. The small stores have only the top selling brands. I love their BOGO's, when I can't find something and ask a sales person, they will take me to the item or find out if they carry the product. If they are out of the product they will check in back and if there is none in storage, they will suggest a rain check. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE great people quality products. Personally I love the service at Publix. Staffs are friendly and helpful and appear to be eager to be there. Also a large Greenwise selection, quality meats and bakery. Publix is more than an average grocery store. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Huge thank you to the staff at the pharmacy here. I was in a situation where Cvs across the street from them had messed up with my sons prescriptions. I was under the assumption that they had the anabiotic‘s that my son needed however upon arrival they did not. So I rushed over to this Lakewood Ranch Publix Pharmacy location let them know the situation that was at hand. And they quickly called over to CVS and got my script for my son transferred over to them. And made sure that it was filled within less than 10 minutes so that I could be back on the road and get home to my son to make sure that he got antibiotics in him before he got to bed. The pharmacy tech and the pharmacist were incredible they were so kind and caring and helpful they really made a huge difference for myself my husband and our son that night. My son is four and had an ear ache and was just absolutely beside himself. As you can imagine for four-year-old it’s very hard to understand that an ear ache is temporary. So being able to get home that night and get the eardrops in his ears and his anabiotic‘s going so that he could see the process and starting to feel better was incredible. They really are amazing here. Exactly why I will never go to any other pharmacy ever again but a Publix pharmacy. They have the best work ethic and family oriented mindset. Which is exactly why it’s the only place I grocery shop as well. They just have some thing that no other grocery store or pharmacy has. They really truly love what they do and have such a kindness and compassion for people and families. I would highly recommend this location.

I have been in labor for 30 hours and these people lied and said my doctor did not call in a pill for me then said they can't put me at the front and I have to wait an hour. I have friends that are pharmacists all they have to do is walk back and get the SINGLE PILL.

The absolute slowest service I have experienced in a grocery store. The deli usually has 4-8 employees and I am always waiting on them. Move with some sense of urgency!

Deli Dept definitely needs better Management. The last 30 days I visited this Publix 6 times for breaded chicken wings all 6 times including today I had to drive to another Publix to get them. They always have naked wings and mixed fried chicken but they NEVER have breaded wings. If you want them you have to get them to box them up out of the deli case if they have enough to fill a box. I was told "popular seller" they sell out. Well two things : 1. If in fact you sold out 6 times I've been there in the last 30 days know your department and have more ready . 2. Deli Manager should be "Managing" this to prevent it from happening. I call shenanigans and call it "Being Lazy and not caring" PERIOD

This pharmacy is not like Publix at all. They just don't care. Unfortunately it's not the first time this happens. You show up for the prescription and it's not ready. They don't tell you why. You have to keep asking. Different people give you different answers. As it turns out they were missing insurance info. They could've given me a call and ask for it. No. I have to wait an hour in Publix until it's ready or take another trip with 2 sick kids.
