I doubt the franchise owner would like to know they’re losing out on business because their employees want to go home early..
This is not the first time this has happened.

I’m only going this Pinch-a-Penny now. When I need a repair, they usually send Anthony the very next day! Anthony is a great guy!! He’s friendly and very knowledgeable.

Showed up to the store at 4:30 which is A half hour before they’re posted closing time and the gate was down and there wasn’t a person in sight

The worst "family run" business. Please do not give your hard earned money to this organization. They send an email every week saying what services they provided. They charged me for emptying skimmer basket, pump skimmer and clean filer "as needed" and did not do any of they for almost 3 months. I have a ring camera and could prove this to the owners and they did not care not did they want to rectify this situation. my neighbors are having similar experiences and have stopped by the shop to report the same issues to no avail. Their employee admitted to me that she did not clean the baskets/filter because she "did not know how to turn off the power to the pump". If you do not know how to turn off a pool pump you likely should not be cleaning pools. OR of that is the case maybe nock on the door and ask the owner or family (someone was home almost every time they cleaned) and ask how to turn the power off. Also, when I went back and watched the video the pool tech was giving my small dogs very large treats. One of my dogs has severe allergies and has been vomiting once a week for a few months. Now it's all adding up. Do not use this company

We recently changed our pool service to Pinch A Penny and are extremely happy with the service. Josh is friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you Josh for doing such a great job. Our pool hasn't look as clear in quite awhile.

This review is overdue. We've used Pinch-A-Penny pool service for years now. We've also used them for all our pool upgrades and installations, too. The owner, Lee, and his staff are fantastic!When things go wrong (as they do with all pools), they are 100% there for me and fair in pricing.I went through several pool services around here before finding Pinch-A-Penny. A couple just went out of business and quit showing up and 2 just flat could never get the pool balanced.SInce finding Pinch-A-Penny - my pool has been perfect!I need to review the pool leak people they referred that fixed ongoing problems I had for years. But I can't remember who it was!

Worked for these guys for a week. The staff is fine but the job wasn’t for me. Since I quit they decided to not pay me for my work which is not legal. I have contacted the Federal Department of Labor and filed a claim.

We had an issue with our gate being barricaded last week because of our dogs and they didn’t clean our pool. To resolve the issue, we left our gate open today to ensure the pool guy could get in with no issues. When I called today to see when they would be out to clean our pool, I was informed that they will no longer be servicing our pool. Not to mention, they charged our account in full for the month of July and I had to ask for a credit. I guess being shorthanded is an excuse for terrible customer service. Had I received a call about my account, I could have informed them that we planned to leave the gate open on Fridays to accommodate the pool guys. Beyond frustrated!!!!!!!

Inexperienced / uneducated staff on mechanical piping systems. The showroom staff insulted my intelligence. Unions on Pool Heater lines do not just break, but their sales staff all but called me a liar saying they just break and deteriorate without any outside force. Amazing how they serviced my pool on Monday ( which nobody else entered the mechanical area the entire week but their pool cleaning staff) and I receive a call from their technician on Friday informing me of a broken fitting on a 13 month old installation. It's evident that someone stepped on the 2" discharge line to create the force to break this union at the place it broke.I've spent over $12K with this company since September 2021. They will never see another dollar from me.
