First, and last time here. I was excited to get a haircut on Saturday and I was booked for 5:30 pm. They close at 6 but still scheduled that appointment. My barber talked about his 5 years of experience so I trusted him. I have shoulder length hair but it’s short on the sides and I wanted the sides faded and only a 1/2 inch off my length.
He wet my hair down with water in a spray bottle, which is what I expect at Great Clips, but I was expecting a wash from such an upscale Barber/Salon. He trimmed my long hair, then put it up, and started buzzing the sides. He finished the cut really quickly and said let me check you out. He just wanted me to leave. I was so shocked I was charged $45 for a trim and buzzed sides, leaving me with unwashed and soaking hair, he didn’t dry it at all to check the cut. So I went back home, washed my hair, blow dried it, put it back up and realized that he cut my long hair while he was buzzing the sides! Save your money and get a better cut and better service anywhere else!
I cannot believe I was charged $45 for a terrible haircut, no washing, no drying, and get-in and get-out service. Completely a waste a time, money, and now I have to go get it fixed somewhere else.

Sonny is hands down my new go to person. I was cautious at first going to a place like this thinking it would cost an arm and a leg but it’s a great deal, and according to my better half I look good!
I was a great clips customer for years but im definitely coming back!

Be prepared to get the haircut they "have time" for and when you saw "high" means "low" as that takes less time. All in all I'll have to pay someone else to fix it.

First of all the place looks really nice and very professional, the staff at the entrance were very nice and welcoming. My barber Jaden was the best, Jaden was caring and made the whole experience so much nicer, he did exactly what i wanted. As someone who is very awkwardly social, i hate going to the barbershop as it can be awkward to be just standing there and not saying anything but Jaden was very nice and we just talked about anything and it made the experience better in my opinion. I think i found my go to place, definitely will come back

Fresh cut and beard hookup by my man Sonny. This was my 2nd visit to Modern Gents at UTC location and I had to come back and see Sonny after my first cut. This time I had a few tweaks to suggest and he came back with some of his own. I'm an open minded type of guy so I'll always try something new. He told me his suggestions and I agreed to roll with it. Let me say he did an amazing job on the cut and gave me a look I haven't had before and I love it. Beard was left in pristine condition and the shape up was crisp. Highly recommend this location and Sonny for the right type of look you wouldn't regret. Thanks again Sonny, see you in about 4 weeks!

Very professional hair stylists all around most of all goes to Sonny for the ideal barber i have been looking for. Quality over quantity, takes time and pays attention to the detail and little things that matter.

Exceptional service great cut and shave. Sonny gave me the best cut I have had in years. The look was 50’s old school high and tight, left some weight on top to style. Not cheap by any means but you get what you pay for. Looks like I need to re-budget manscaping. Cheaper than plastic surgery. Looked 10 years younger after this cut.
