The customer service person (she) that answers the phone should be fired. She is rude for 1. Then when she answers the phone she picks up the phone does not answer and puts the phone on the counter as she is complaining about her job. What has happened to lowes?

It seems like Lowe’s is so worried about stopping shoplifters that they do not care about the customer themselves anymore! It’s a hassle getting in. It’s a hassle getting out. People are not in the aisles to help anybody, but there’s 15 people at checkout wanting to make sure you’re scanning your items correctly. Seems like the solution is more of a problem than the actual problem.

No floor staff. You are on your own. Limited product choices. It is easier to use Amazon.

Price fair. Follow thru on a issue of a leaky one day old refrigerator installed by Lowes. Dead beats

Overall store is good, return process as well, well just because I did not have a receipt for online order, she gave me a hard time to accepting it, even it was never open.
All she had to do to type my number and my online orders history.
I just dont understand why the same process solves by different routes? I get it we are different, but store policy stays the same.
Another thing, was looking for specific facet handle, asked 3 employees, 2 send me completely to 2 different isles, and 3rd said we dont sell them.
Guess what, 4th employee helped me out and we found it.
Does not make sense

The lack of customer service is annoying. Only self checkout! Like why? I walked with an elderly woman that didn't want self checkout and of the 4 standing around "employees" - sorry we don't have that. I had to be her cashier. I'll stick with Home Depot.

I had the most horrendous experience with Lowe’s in the Appliance department, the last several days. Everything from the measurement person coming out and doing the wrong measurements in which I believe he was clearly on drugs. In which the associates were not surprised, they had several comments beforehand. I was trying to order a 36 inch five burner, stainless steel gas cooktop the confusion of the sales associate who I am not going to name I believe was from a lack of Lack of training. I was very uncomfortable the two times that I was in there and trying to get what I needed and to make it right . I spent a lot of time in there just going around in circles of confusion. I decided to go another direction. There was an associate Starla Who was trying to help out but the end of the day I was just not comfortable all the way around.

If I could give a 0 review it would be the best review. I am a contractor who likes more than one Milton a year in purchases at Home Depot and I come to Low's to start buying here. I registered my tax exempt certificate 3 weeks ago after waiting 2 hours for a manager to come because no one knew how to do the process. 3 weeks later I go to make another purchase and they tell me that my certificate expired, that I had to bring the certificate in paper form again because it was not faxed to the corporation, and I ask myself, what is my fault that they do their job badly, who is responsible for faxing that document to the corporation. In addition to answering rudely and without any interest in helping, later I decide to pay the bill with taxes and everything and they discriminate against me by telling me to move position and get in line again when it was really my turn. That is why there are fewer and fewer people at Low's and they lose clients daily due to poor information and customer service. I don't know if there is a manager who is responsible for any situation that occurs in the store. I asked for the manager and he never showed up. On other occasions I have asked about the food parcels where I can find what I am looking for and they have poorly answered me on which line it might be. On the other hand, I left there for Home Depot where I registered as tax exempt for more than 10 years and in less than 20 minutes I made my purchase satisfactorily. The only bad thing is that there was no parking available.

The garden center was closed so I had to go elsewhere for my mulch and plants. The employee I spoke with wasn't very kind or considerate.

Whoever the woman is with the Lawn Department badge, working the customer service desk at present, is terrible. She is terribly inconvenienced by her job and even more so by the idea of having to interact with people on a superficial retail level.
Do better Lowe’s. There are plenty of qualified people are out there looking for jobs with better attitudes.

If you need help finding an item, good luck. No one wants to help. Next time, I will go to Home Depot
