This store is the worst , I've been in business for over 26 years here in Bradenton Florida, I owned M&T Custom Trim & Flooring Inc. My brother retired and I changed the name to 345 Solutions Inc.a customer of mine for 10 yrs now he is a repeat and referral of mine and he called 2 weeks ago had a new home built in Lakewood Ranch wants Tounge & Groove Ceiling installed we purchased all our lumber from Builders Source!1 used to be pro- build if you don't know now you know buying lumber from a lumber yard is a 3rd of Lowes cost. Lowes and Home Depot are ripping off the every day DIY and Handyman services. I went to this store to purchase RED OAK 215 (Oil based) LOWES HAD NONE NOTHING, I asked Lowes so called mixologist if he could check for me to see if some was up top restocking shelves. He said yes there is one wasted a half hour listening to him wine about doing his job then I told Lowes mixologist that I would get it on state road 70 and he says to me I can tint that for you if you want ( I replied the same as the stain I'm looking for he said exact word ABSOLUTELY..so I said let's do it we stain out builds faux beams , cofferd ceilings to what stain our customers choose. I asked for RED OAK 215 Never used it didn't know what it looked like just purchased what the MIXOLOGIST told me and was on my way to drop off stain to my guys and had another estimate to do . My guys stained all the material , installed the job got it done. Tim the homeowner called said let's do the front now but this time use the right. Color ( I laughed and said your kidding me right he said no seriously) I went back to Lowe's grabbed a gallon of RED OAK 215 off the shelf ran home stained a board and it was a completely different color .I called tim told him I'll do a sand and finish over head which is a pain in the rear but I make sure jobs are done right and I take care of my customers. Now Lowe's on the other hand I called told them what happened I asked them to cover the job . Lowes said to me no we will cover $36 in stain which I purchased 8 quarts only 2 we're on the Lowe's card I have other receipts but that's not what I asked for wanted them to cover my losses when I asked that she said without even thinking no we will not. I've been in business long time never had a complaint lawsuit , Im legit carry 2 million in liability and exempt (S corp)I I was sold on Lowe's Mixologist saying it was the exact same and said it with confidence. If a retail sells a product to a customer and it's not at what was stated how are they not liable as the representative from LOWES stated. I'm going to have to call consumer rights and hire a lawyer I knew that a big box store or corporation would stomp all over me lowes claims to have no responsibility but yet they sell this garbage and it's fine... I'm going to do everything in my power to fight this and stand my ground as a consumer and a small business owner what's crazy to me is lowes does not care at all about its customers and second why would lowes cover the product being stain for reimbursement if they didn't feel responsible I'm adding pictures of some previous no problem jobs and photos of the different stains videos. Thanks for reading and remember lumber yards are cheaper and deliver free as far as paint and stain id go Benjamin Moore on 14th st which I should of done to begin with...LOWES DOES NOT CARE OR WANT TO HEAR OUR PROBLEMS AS CONSUMERS !!!now they don't answer my calls at the store that's supposed to handle this matter so Today Im contacting FTC and BBB social media calling a news channel and local paper and after that heading to the store .. to let people know before they enter that Lowe's does not back up there or stand behind there products they sell to consumers ... Consumers rights!!!!

Pickup a laundry tub with faucet 179.00 was missing part ,a paper in the box on top if parts missing call them,they got my information wrong for shipment of part now I have wait 4 days this to finish job,how are we going to make money with this hold up ( project source) really

I'm happy I stopped at Lowe's and found my 6 turn eight inch burner for my stovetop. Home Depot didn't have it!

Pretty restocked but to get service or help could take a while. Asked 3 different people for help, they sent me each to someone different just to have someone radio in to meet in an aisle, just to have me wait 10mins for help. Decided to go somewhere else.

The employees do not care. They don't want to help customers, they don't even know where the lumber is! Worst customer service. The employees seem like they have some sort of power, and holds it over your head. Lowe's is for dummies, GO TO HOME DEPOT that's where the professionals are
