They're on Google as being a used car dealer in Bradenton Florida, however, the lady said rudely to me this morning they have no manager, no one in charge and no cars, they're not doing anything. Super shady, so maybe this business is going to be reported to the attorney general's office today January 29th 2020 as being a cover-up and sham scam business for something. Probably a money laundering business.

Josh & Rick Did everything I requested after I had a independent inspection done of the MotorHome I was about to purchase. This included things that were found to need repair which they had fixed. I would definitely do business with them again & have recommended them to friends, family & people who have asked where we got our (New to us) Diesel pusher Motorhome. Thanks Again. Josh, Lloyd

CAUTION! This USED CAR DEALER has poor communication skills & is a typical used car company. BEWARE: Inspect everything! Dont sign anything unless your attorney has read it. Dont fall for the we are nice guys and sell below wholesale pitch! BEWARE!

I have worked with John Greer Auto Sales in multiple transactions and have always been treated fairly. Integrity is the byline that is in their showroom, and I have never doubted that. It certainly is understood that when purchasing a car, each car is purchased as is. It's a used vehicle and there are bound to be things that are not seen by the naked eye that would be normally acceptable if it was my car or yours. I don't know of any car dealer who does not sell a car "AS-IS" and it certainly is explicit in all cars sold on eBay, unless you buy a warranty for much more money over the original sold price. No one can guess what is going to happen to a car and how the new owner will treat / drive the "new" car. I am confused when people expect a "used car" to be as NEW. Dealers want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase, but cannot control what happens after you leave the lot. You could get hit by someone else, is that the dealer's responsibility? Noooo......

I bought a Toyota Corolla from Josh after it was put up for bid on E-Bay. I paid close to $5000 when everything was done.
When I went to pick up the car I was made to sign an 'As Is' statement. That should have been my first warning and I should have run out of that place fast. But I took the car because I was naïve and thought no one would cheat me like this on a car.
On the drive home, despite that the E-Bay ad said "Good Running Condition", the car's front passenger side made a really bad noise. We'll get into that below.
As soon as I got it home, the problems started. Over the next two years, I put as much into the car for repairs as I paid for it. Even more.
I had to have the brakes redone, the noise in the front was a strut that was bad, I have had the engine light come on twice, both for air to the engine related issues, I have had to repair the A/C, the timing chain (NOT a belt, Josh, as your ad said was new! This Toyota had a chain.) had to be replaced, two of the tires needed to be replaced, the tires had to be realigned and rebalanced (before the new ones were put on), the corrosion on the battery was the worst the technician who replaced the battery said he had seen in years. There was no key for the trunk, so it can only be opened from the inside lever, and the head of one of the bolts holding on one tire was shaved off.
As of today, my engine light is still on, and the car changes its own oil daily due to blown gaskets in the engine that I am told can only be fixed by replacing the whole engine.
When I called Josh to complain, he was rude and condescending. He very strongly reminded me I had signed the 'As Is' waiver and so he was off the hook for any liability regarding what I had paid to get this car safely drivable.
I will never buy a car off of E-Bay again, I will CERTAINLY never buy one from John Greer, I am warning everyone I know to stay away from this dealership, and I will run from any salesman named 'Josh'.
If you buy a car from these people. especially 'Josh', you get what you deserve. You have been warned.
