Jackie is always helpful and knowledgeable. She makes sure we get in and out of the office as quickly as possible and always makes our experience much more pleasant. I highly recommend going to this hertz and having Jackie take care of your rental needs. (Sometimes renting a car can be a nightmare, but not here thank goodness)

Subject: Negative Experience at Hertz Rental Car LocationI am writing to express my disappointment with the management at this particular Hertz rental car location, which I find significantly below the company’s usual standards. As someone who travels extensively, I’ve come across various Hertz facilities, and unfortunately, this location stands out as possibly the most mismanaged and neglected, not just in Florida but likely across the United States.The car provided to me was in a deplorable state - filthy and absolutely disgusting. Additionally, attempting to communicate with the management proved futile, as my calls went unanswered throughout the day. This lack of responsiveness was particularly frustrating because when I visited the store in person after receiving no answer, I found the staff idly present, despite the phone ringing incessantly.Furthermore, the location failed to fulfill the pickup service advertised on the website. There was no attempt to reach out, confirm, or provide any form of customer service, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience. This Hertz location’s service quality was so lacking that it felt more akin to a less reputable establishment, which is disheartening to say about a Hertz facility. Even a basic level of customer support, which one might expect from any service provider, was conspicuously absent during my interaction.

The gentleman behind the counter today was just as rude as can be I ended up not even getting a car because he didn't want to take the time to help me answer my questions he told me it was just a pickup and drop-off I had to go through life I had a car rented through another place but he said he couldn't use that place it was $300 cheaper than what he told me to do which was go to the hertz site

No after hours drop box when i was told there was one. Total waste of time. How hard is it to tell customers correct information?You make me sad Hertz.

Zero stars not available, I did a reservation for a vehicle and when I arrived to pick it up the manager Dave Higgins was very unfriendly, rude & Unhospitable of my situation to the point if bringing me to tears in the process. And then unapologetic to my friend when she tried to help explain. This person should not be in customer service of any kind. After Dave left the front I asked the other service representative if this was a common occurrence, at first she was nervous to say anything due to repercussions I'm sure (he definitely not one to be crossed) but she did say "he is very blunt" which is not a bonus in customer service. A manager sets the lead for how other employees should act & he is Not setting a good example! And it was interesting that when I was in hertz the place was empty. We went to Enterprise rental and the people where very accommodating & friendly and very very busy! Hertz corporate should definitely investigate the situation.

Small location with not enough resources or accountability. Staff never answer the phone, act put out when you rent a car, and the manager hides in the back behind two way glass.

We rented a corolla while our car was in the shop for repairs. They called us when it was pouring rain and insisted we bring the car back because the contract was canceled. This is the worst rental car dealer I have ever dealt with horrible experience all around never again. ?

I would have give a zero star if I could have. The manager was completely unhelpful. Whoever owns this Hertz location should reevaluate who they are hiring as a manager to represent their company. He wouldn’t rent me the car because I didn’t have a passport and insisted that the Hertz policy requires renter to have a passport. I asked him to show me the policy as I didn’t not see any verbiage stating this was a requirement as I only read was a valid drivers licence and valid credit card, which I presented both. He told me he wasn’t going to show me and I have to look it up myself, which I then did and tried to show him there’s no such policy and he said he didn’t care he wasn’t renting to me without one. I’ve rented many vehicles in the past and never need a passport. I decided to cancel my reservation at Hertz drove down the road to Enterprise and they were amazing customer service and guess what I didn’t even need a passport.

Hertz on 14th St. in Bradenton is terrible. The first thing we noticed was the car was filthy. While on the interstate we started hearing a scraping noise. Turned out, the front end was damaged and plastic was scraping the pavement. We brought it back and were treated very rudely. No apology, nothing but attitude. I will never rent from Hertz again thanks to this experience.

I scheduled a rental pickup at 5 on vacation. Showed up at 4:55 via Uber to pickup our reservation for 5pm. They locked the doors for the day and said to come back tomorrow at 8am since they locked the safe for the day.The only ride they left me was the shoes I walked away with. Good things Avis/budget is right down the road. They got me in a car in minutes and on with my vacation.Don’t plan on them following though or being the least bit accommodating here at Hertz.

Absolutely the worst customer experience I’ve ever had! Called me 2 hours before picking up on planned vacation to tell me they don’t have a car to give me then the very manager was rude and unwilling nor not interested in helpful no at all. Wow
