Great hotel. Free water in the lobby is the best fruit infused water I've ever tasted. The front desk staff was informative, friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel. Everyone at the front desk was helpful. Although it's not overly noisy, but odd numbered rooms are on the quieter side of the hotel.Food & drinks: There are a number of good places for food and drinks that are within waking distance.

The Management and customer service here is really bad. They change price after you check in online and before your plane lands. Just wait for that text from "Rebecca" who will inform you that they changed your rate. This is not legal!Noteworthy details: The front desk refuse to call the manager ....... or the manager does not care about customers. Stay Away!

Couldn't get a decent room, even after declining 2 rooms offered first . Not worth the money in my opinion.Staff are great though.

One of the best Hampton Inns we have stayed in. The hotel was originally an historic Manatee River hotel and the Spanish Renaissance architectural design on the outside of the building is so pretty. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Lobby was beautifully decorated for the holiday and really set the tone for a comfortable stay. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Breakfast staff did a great job.I do wish Hamptons would provide complimentary water bottles in the rooms. But overall, another great stay at the ever reliable Hampton Inn.

Loved this room. King size bed with oversized room and desk! Historic property in walkable area. Rainy, blustery weather so not much more to add.Food & drinks: Pier 22 restaurant very nearby.

I told them that there was a leak from the ceiling from the AC UNIT. They woke me up at 8:00 am to fix it! Worst hotel I ever stayed at! The owner is a complete jerk! I’ve been in the hospital industry for 35 years. Never again!

Great hotel. The staff is fantastic. I had a room with a balcony which was nice. It is an older building, which has a beautiful lobby area. If you enjoy walking, you can do the Bradneton Riverwalk which is nice.

I think that's a sad state of affairs if this is the number one hotel in Bradenton. As a long time Hilton honors member, I was given the opportunity to check in online several days before my arrival. I did so and selected a room on the corner on the top floor. I'm a light sleeper and need to be away from any noise as much as possible.Imagine my shock and surprise when I arrived at the front desk and learned that I had been reassigned to the fourth floor in the middle of the hallway. I tried to explain to Troy that I had checked in online and he seemed very flustered and confused. He then looked me straight in the eye and lied to me telling me that I must not have checked in online or must not have clicked all of the buttons correctly. As a woman approaching 60, I found his tone and manner to be more than condescending.Tired after a long day of travel, I decided to go ahead to the assigned room on the fourth floor. Where to my shock and surprise I found a gift bag with two waters and a letter addressed to a different guests name. I took this bag back down to the front desk and asked Troy if he was positive that I was in the correct room now or was somebody going to be using their pre-check in to get into the room at 2:00 in the morning. He looked at me like I was crazy and assured me that everything was fine.I was not welcomed as a Hilton honor's member. I was not offered any water or any amenity. Troy did not bother to even take 2 minutes to orient me to the property or to welcome me in any way. For the record. I was completely calm during my interactions with him because I realized that he was not likely the person that had booted me out of my premium larger 7th floor room. The next morning I went down to the front desk and was greeted by a very professional staff member. I explained my situation. She apologized for what had happened and indicated that she could very clearly see in the record that I had in fact checked in to room 721 ahead of time. She apologized for me being shifted. She said she didn't know why. I then asked her if it was possible that my name was on a letter in room 721. She noted that it was pretty rare for them to leave those packets ahead of time and that I probably didn't need to worry about it. My privacy is extremely important to me and I do not appreciate that. Question of why was someone given my room and did they get a letter with my name on it left for them?Overall, I got a fair amount of sleep here. For whatever reason, hotel chains refuse to put slow closing, quiet closing doors on property. So anytime anyone came in or out I was startled awake. In addition, someone in a room adjacent to me must have had one of those electric scooters that beeped when it backed up.The breakfast was adequate and typical for the chain. Given the outrageous amount that I paid for this room and I understand it's December in Florida and there was an event in the area, I would have expected at least to not be lied to by a member of the front desk staff. I inquired and Troy is not new. He has worked here for some time, therefore I would expect that he understands how to review a reservation with accuracy by this point. Given that it was the weekend, I did not get any response to my concerns or offer in any way to make things right.Given this interaction, I will not stay at this property again and I will continue to question my decision to patronize any Hilton property. I stayed in Hyatt the night before and the difference in service was night and day and the room rate was a third of what I'm paying here. For the record, I am a long-term experienced traveler who also has worked in the travel industry. This should never have happened why bother to offer online check-in and confirm a room number for me if you're just going to take it away and give it to someone else. If I had known that I would have driven directly here from the airport instead of stopping to visit with my elderly family member.Having housekeeping BANG on my door to evict me at check out time when I had been gra
