Called Audio Workshop and Mario told me exactly what was going to happen, how long it would take, about how much it would cost, etc. I brought the unit in, and I followed up as requested. Picked it up and plugged it in, sounds as good as I remember. These guys are geniuses. In an era of disposable stuff, they know how things work and how to fix them the right way.
