“This place seems really well stocked with items both dry and food from the cooler. The emergency supplies as well as household items. Nice assortment of holiday items. Staff seem very friendly.”

“Devin, Marion and Tom is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! There's so many things that I can say about them but I'm not going to take all of your time. Devin is Absolutely Perfect for Dollar General. He always helps me when I need something, he dropped everything and he rings me up with a Smile and Accuracy. When he's not at the register he's always working putting things up and with the smile he always be I love him dearly that is the way customer service is supposed to be and Devin has perfected that. Marion. When I first met Marion I came in the store and mind you I moved from Parrish Florida all the way over here to the West Side. Marion has always helped me with anything that I've needed came to her with the concern because as an Black Bahamian woman I needed product for Blacks. . She works so hard to get that for us there has never been a variety like this EVER in any store I've ever been in I want to say that Marian has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! She is prompt with whatever you ask for she gets the job done with the smime. We have great conversations I love her also. Tom. Words can't I express the Joy that I feel when I come to the store because Tom is someone who can lift your Spirit even if you're having a bad day. He spe5ak loud and clear he remembers your name, he knows what he's talking about the last time you're seen. He he helps in EVERY way. I love Tom also. The moral of this story is that customer service is more than customer service you have to show your people that you care about them. Devin, Marion and Tom has shown that I give them five stars every time I see them I have a smile on my face. I recommend everyone to come to the Dollar General on Cortez Road close by the beach you guys are awesome thank you for what you do!!!”
“Subject: Concern Regarding Product Availability
I am writing to express my concern regarding the availability of products at your store.
I have noticed that certain phones are displayed on the shelves, yet they are not available for purchase. As paying customers, we expect that items presented in the store should be for purchase.
If these phones are not for sale, I request that they be removed from the shelves to prevent any confusion. It would greatly improve the shopping experience if customers could trust that the items on the shelves are truly available.
I appreciate your time in addressing this matter.

“It wasn't too busy. The shelves were stocked well. I think all dollar generals should have price scanners mounted somewhere. Items seem to always be misplaced. Be contributor to not buying certain products as I don't know the price and don't want to be surprised at the register. I'm not the biggest fan of self checkout. Good 1st visit overall.”

However, Family Dollar as a whole, not so much. Ever since this COVID PANIC PRICE INCREASE has settled somewhat, it's NOW A TOTAL GOUGE, and it makes me angry! Ie. Used to have a 20oz bottle of commodity hand lotion for $1 JUST BEFORE COVID, right? Well NOW it's no longer profitable to offer that ECONOMY brand/ price, so we are FORCED into buying 32oz bottle at $5 (approx 320% PRICE INCREASE FOR A CHEAP BOTTLE OF ECONOMY LOTION) GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!! THAT'S ABSURD!”
“Great job ! New managers have all been working very hard although it would help if the cashiers cared about the store and actually worked. Disheartening to see them leave a Mgr to do their job and also cashiering all alone, in store PLEASE DO BETTER & have the store well staffed at all times please especially with more customers store is getting! Rude customers don't make it easier but this the Hispanic looking Mgr lady has professionally dealt with like so customers and does amazing at her job from what I have witnessed. Store manager needs to make sure products stays out the boxes and on the shelves for purchasing mann”
“The store had more items that you don't normally see in Family Dollars I was very impressed with the amount of stock they had people were very pleasant and helpful if you looking for something different this is the place to go and if you need something that you're used to this is the place to go”
“Though I had a negative experience from one of the employees by the name of Fernando, I still rate this store a 5 due to the quality of service provided by the other employees. Today I ran into to grab a few sandwich bags and laundry soap and as I put my things on the counter a young MAN by the name FERNANDO made a frustrated sound as he walked up to check me out…. I understand he may have been having a bad day so since he didn’t greet me I greeted him and said hello, he rolled his eyes and never spoke as he turn off the light at the register I was standing at and start moving my items to another register while slamming them on the co. At that time I said you know what Fernando you seem to be pretty busy, so can you have someone else check me out? His reply was yea and I don’t care I don’t have to greet you! I said you should but you have a blessed day and I’ll wait for someone else, he said I don’t need any blessings I’m not a god fearing person. Another associate called store manager by the name of Annie whom was very courteous and handled the situation in a professional manner! As I was explaining to Miss Annie what had taken place as well as telling her I never try to push my religion on anyone, Fernando started this evil laughing episode and Mrs Annie asked him to please go to the back! I will continue shopping here because of employees like Mrs Annie and I hope Fernando learns how to deal with customers or doesn’t work directly with them!”
“I absolutely LOVE this store. They have literally a little bit of everything. PERFECT place to shop for party and holiday items. They even are upgraded to having more items available as well as $3, $5, $10 items to choose from. You can NOT go wrong stopping in here.”

I know going in there it's going to be busy and they're going to have a lot of random stuff that I can get at a decent price. So I'm satisfied with this Dollar tree.
