“Devin, Marion and Tom is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! There's so many things that I can say about them but I'm not going to take all of your time. Devin is Absolutely Perfect for Dollar General. He always helps me when I need something, he dropped everything and he rings me up with a Smile and Accuracy. When he's not at the register he's always working putting things up and with the smile he always be I love him dearly that is the way customer service is supposed to be and Devin has perfected that. Marion. When I first met Marion I came in the store and mind you I moved from Parrish Florida all the way over here to the West Side. Marion has always helped me with anything that I've needed came to her with the concern because as an Black Bahamian woman I needed product for Blacks. . She works so hard to get that for us there has never been a variety like this EVER in any store I've ever been in I want to say that Marian has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! She is prompt with whatever you ask for she gets the job done with the smime. We have great conversations I love her also. Tom. Words can't I express the Joy that I feel when I come to the store because Tom is someone who can lift your Spirit even if you're having a bad day. He spe5ak loud and clear he remembers your name, he knows what he's talking about the last time you're seen. He he helps in EVERY way. I love Tom also. The moral of this story is that customer service is more than customer service you have to show your people that you care about them. Devin, Marion and Tom has shown that I give them five stars every time I see them I have a smile on my face. I recommend everyone to come to the Dollar General on Cortez Road close by the beach you guys are awesome thank you for what you do!!!”

And anyone who says " several" has definitely been exaggerating because if you were annoyed the first time you shouldn't have gone back, if you were annoyed the second time you shouldn't have gone back and if you really thought she was that much of a B**** You would not have gone back five more times to realize that several times you've seen her act this way. Working for minimum-wage at a store like this or on salary to work over 80 hours a week isnt the best experience. believe it. I wonder what you actually do. Have some sympathy. And don't exaggerate. This comment could've got her fired for all you know and I've been in that store many times and she's a wonderful person. You could just be the one that's hard to deal with. “Prices seemed to be reasonable. I was only after one item, so I didn't walk around for long. But I have to admit, the whole store smelled like a gas station bathroom. That I could've done without.”
“This place seems really well stocked with items both dry and food from the cooler. The emergency supplies as well as household items. Nice assortment of holiday items. Staff seem very friendly.”

“I have been a huge dollar tree shopper. I shop between 10 different stores. I know KeKe from ellenton store and whom is now store manager of 7373 52nd place E Bradenton. I avoided this store for past two years due to the dire need for a good cleaning and never was there ever any stock on shelves it was always in boxes all over, making it difficult to maneuver through the store. However, since KeKe took over this store has made a 360 turn around. This store is clean, and organized. I am ecstatic finally to be able to shop here. I can find things. She has a great new group working. My last experience was with a rude obnoxious girl whom I later found out was the manger whom was transferred which is beyond me why. She was so rude and did nothing to make that store nice and when I asked for help she pointed. Seriously. Dollar tree or Dillard you still should have customer service and that is why I followed KeKe to this store. She is kind, respectful and helpful to all whom approach her. I can not begin to tell you just how amazing of a person you have working for you. She is amazing. Thanks.”
“Prices were great, for great products (name brand toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner) plus they lots of option for snacks, drinks, toys, and more! Just didn't like the attitude around the store.”

“Since it opened, it is one of my best family dollar, the cashiers are always friendly and speak my language, I always find everything I need, it's close to dollar general, but I prefer to go to family dollar and the cashiers are very friendly.”

“It wasn't too busy. The shelves were stocked well. I think all dollar generals should have price scanners mounted somewhere. Items seem to always be misplaced. Be contributor to not buying certain products as I don't know the price and don't want to be surprised at the register. I'm not the biggest fan of self checkout. Good 1st visit overall.”

“This particular Family Dollar I like, and so I give it a 5 star.
However, Family Dollar as a whole, not so much. Ever since this COVID PANIC PRICE INCREASE has settled somewhat, it's NOW A TOTAL GOUGE, and it makes me angry! Ie. Used to have a 20oz bottle of commodity hand lotion for $1 JUST BEFORE COVID, right? Well NOW it's no longer profitable to offer that ECONOMY brand/ price, so we are FORCED into buying 32oz bottle at $5 (approx 320% PRICE INCREASE FOR A CHEAP BOTTLE OF ECONOMY LOTION) GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!! THAT'S ABSURD!”
“Though I had a negative experience from one of the employees by the name of Fernando, I still rate this store a 5 due to the quality of service provided by the other employees. Today I ran into to grab a few sandwich bags and laundry soap and as I put my things on the counter a young MAN by the name FERNANDO made a frustrated sound as he walked up to check me out…. I understand he may have been having a bad day so since he didn’t greet me I greeted him and said hello, he rolled his eyes and never spoke as he turn off the light at the register I was standing at and start moving my items to another register while slamming them on the co. At that time I said you know what Fernando you seem to be pretty busy, so can you have someone else check me out? His reply was yea and I don’t care I don’t have to greet you! I said you should but you have a blessed day and I’ll wait for someone else, he said I don’t need any blessings I’m not a god fearing person. Another associate called store manager by the name of Annie whom was very courteous and handled the situation in a professional manner! As I was explaining to Miss Annie what had taken place as well as telling her I never try to push my religion on anyone, Fernando started this evil laughing episode and Mrs Annie asked him to please go to the back! I will continue shopping here because of employees like Mrs Annie and I hope Fernando learns how to deal with customers or doesn’t work directly with them!”
“I absolutely LOVE this store. They have literally a little bit of everything. PERFECT place to shop for party and holiday items. They even are upgraded to having more items available as well as $3, $5, $10 items to choose from. You can NOT go wrong stopping in here.”

It came out very nice although I would recommend buying some spray glue for extra stick.”
