They had me hook, line, and sinker...then they stopped selling the best cookies on the world. Now I have to settle for 'Boom, Chick, Pop' and 'Reece's Big Cup' . The problem is they can't (or won't) tell me the name of those cookies! I asked the minute I realized they were gone. I used to buy every pack of them they had on the shelf (don't judge me!) and then *POOF!* No more slightly lemony 'sandy' type cookie with white chocolate and macadamias, I mean! Omg! And no one can seem to tell me the name of them. I'm not believing that NOBODY who has either stocked shelves or ordered inventory or even a cashier can remember the name of these cookies!! Sssuper frustrating! It's just not the same for me anymore. But, the manager is usually pretty cool even if the cashier isn't ?? and I can usually get what I need there. It's just no longer a five star situation ?

Rude workers, Slow, slow machines,self checkout never is working.Lots of attitude from workers. Mostly the people who work there.The place is beautiful.Just work on those workers.

its 8:37 p.m .. oct 9th 2022 ive never seen this place close soooo early on a sunday .. they had no signage up what so ever stating a reason why they were close AT ALL you guys really need to get it together because this is just out right ridiculous !!!!!!!

I was told too leave my bag at the front with all my belongings even if it was a purse! As the manager explained this too me a couple ladys walked out with a backpack and a duffle zip style purse on the other lady. Absolutely 100% discriminatory no question, If someone that looks nice walks in with a bag it's OKAY! Products on shelves out of date, out of date meat in the freezers and very unfriendly workers. First time I ever visited the store someone got robbed inside and It had too get closed before I could enter (thieves crashed car in parking lot). The reason why I have such a big problem with this is because you can't even USE the shopping carts outside of the store, If you have a big load of groceries you better have 2-3 people too help because your taking them out by hand!

It wasn't too busy. The shelves were stocked well. I think all dollar generals should have price scanners mounted somewhere. Items seem to always be misplaced. Be contributor to not buying certain products as I don't know the price and don't want to be surprised at the register. I'm not the biggest fan of self checkout. Good 1st visit overall.

This truly is the most disgusting place. Smells strongly of urine! Management is incredibly rude(older lady with glasses and brown hair) Never have stocked shelves and you cannot even take the carts out of the store, which limits the amount you can purchase. Avoid this location, it's horrible.

The worst Dollar General in Bradenton. The older lady that was working this evening 7/13/2022 @ 9pm. She should not have job with the public. She would not give me store manager name and I could not get her name since she was not wearing her name tag. I tried calling to talk to someone else and get store manager name or her name. She must of answered the phone told me not going to give it to me she hung up on me.. will be calling tomorrow and will he reporting her to corporate. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!

When I have more time I will try to write a more descriptive review. Due to the pandemic, supply shortages and inflation Etc. I have been giving businesses the benefit of the doubt. Although this is my second time having a completely uncalled for run in WITH HOW AWFUL THIS DOLLAR GENERAL IS! I haven't had a worse customer service or shopping experience at any place of business in the USA in my entire life! Even if you are planning to run in for a gallon of milk, better off going somewhere else. The worst part about it is I was a regular shopper at Dollar General locations. I enjoyed using the $5 coupons on Saturday. However, after my experience with this nightmare location, I highly doubt I will ever step foot into any Dollar General ever again.

I'd like to start by saying, no matter what the condition of the store, decent customer service goes a long way. I was not greeted at the door, the line was one person long and I don't know how many coconuts it takes to check one man out but obviously at this dollar general it takes two. So there were 2 associates at the point of sale yet I had to check myself out at self check out. Mind you I just got off of work. I don't want to use self check out especially considering my 20 box of litter. The machine only accepted card and the hand scanner was broken.ao I finally get done paying for my items and I go to leave the store with my heavy bags And my heavy litter. GUESS WHAT, you're not allowed to take the cart outside. I was made aware by an awful beeping noise at the door and by the unattentative associate at the register (my first time being acknowledged at the store. So i steer the cart and put it back and leave. Just the worst shopping experience. I will not be returning to this location and I question how it is they are still I'm business.

This has been my go to place forShopping if I'm trying to avoid walmart.. but this is the last time I come here though. They don't allow the carts outside of their store which encourages less shopping. Bye !
