This review option resulted from a Google search for Milano cosmetics. Don't waste your time going to Lakewood Ranch Blvd CVS if you're purchasing Milano makeup. The selection is terrible!

CVS - 1520 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34211By far, the worst CVS pharmacy personnel in the entire state of FL. Staff is just plain rude, lazy, and incompetent. Third, attempt to pick up a prescription and always an issue. Either we didn't receive the script, not ready yet, or we don't have it stock. Our son's pediatrician electronically sent in two scripts. The Dr completes this at 4 pm. 4:30 pm CVS states that we don't have the script. Call Dr's office back, told them CVS does not have the script. Dr calls them directly. The script was at CVS the entire time. Unfortunately, someone decided not to approve the script. It wasn't approved until they received a call from the Dr. directly. After wasting 2 hours, this CVS now tells us they don't have one of the scripts at that location, of course. Information that would have been useful 2 hours ago. They tell us to go to a CVS in Parrish to pick up the script. Associate states I "already sent them the order." We call Parrish CVS from the parking lot, and they have zero scripts sent to them. Walk back into the CVS with the phone and the Parrish CVS associate on it to make sense of all the nonsense. After telling us the script was forwarded to the CVS in Parrish, after putting her on the spot again, she confesses that she did not send it over yet after telling us she did and telling us to head to Parrish for pick up. Terrible, it was so bad that the CVS Associate from Parrish, who is still on the phone with us, plainly states...leave that location ASAP, we get complaints from them all the time. Just head our way, and I'll take care of everything from here. All this wasted time for a prescription while our 8 year old is home in pain. Thanks, Lakewood Ranch CVS, for taking a lack of customer service and incompetent too new levels.

(WARNING) Do not apply for a job here. They will not hire "white men" They are very racist against anyone who even remotely seems "white" unless they're young attractive white females. They are giving fake interviews with no intentions of hiring anyone who is male and even so much as seems "white". They are mostly doing it for the governments low staff checks, and will attempt to steal your identity and sell it to private 3rd parties by asking for a copy of your social security card and driver's license before even "hiring you". Also, do not ever use their pharmacy. If you are "white" regardless of gender they will lie right to your face and even try to tell you that your prescription hasn't arrived yet, when really it's right there and probably has been for days. And they know it. It's media influenced white racism and they are not even trying to hide it anymore. But don't just take my word for it. Just check the other reviews and the names on the reviews if you don't believe me, and see for yourself. You've been warned.

This is the laziest pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacist needs to be fired for ignorance, laziness, compulsive lieing (probably doesn't even know she's lieing), and not giving a damn about anything. It started 14 days ago with zero communication from CVS. I had to make all the phone calls to help the pharmacist figure out her job and a prescription refill. This is 14 days of doing the pharmacist's job of calling my doctor and the insurance company. For a week, the pharmacist claimed the prior authorization was faxed to my doctor. My doctor never received it. The day the prescription was transferred, I called CVS and gave them the contact information of my doctor. A few more days go by. The pharmacist told me that when it was transferred, Publix gave the incorrect contact information for my doctor. I don't know how that would have happened considering I have had the same doctor for 6 years and Publix had zero issues refilling a prescription. It was even more odd when the pharmacist repeated the contact information of my doctor while on the phone. So the pharmacist lied. As much as she casualy lied to me she probably lied on her CVS job application. The pharmacist then told me that the doctor needed to call a number for prior authorization. Call a number? Maybe you should call my doctor like a normal pharmacists would. What doctor has time for a 30-minute phone call? Doctors see patients, not make 30-minute phone calls for prior authorizations. Pharmacists make 30-minute phone calls for prior authorizations while standing in one position for 8 hours. Last night I called my insurance company who said a prior authorization was not needed. So where did the pharmacist come up with a prior authorization is needed? Don't ask the pharmacist because she'll probably lie and make up random stuff you need all while making you chase your prescription refill around the room. The representative then called Caremark to confirm the local pharmacy was submitting the claim under pharmacy benefits, not medical. I called the pharmacy AGAIN to ask that they claim under medical benefits, not pharmacy. Person on the phone said they are a pharmacy, and they can only submit under pharmacy benefits. Publix also has a pharmacy and they can submit either way. Instead of arguing with this chick, I hung up the phone and immediately called Publix pharmacy. Within five minutes I received verbal confirmation that I can pick up my prescription from Publix on Friday. Well I'll be damned!!!!! That easy. So easy it's too difficult for CVS to figure out. Like I said, fire the pharmacist, and close the store like you closed downtown Bradenton. Your rating has already reached the level of tragedy and no return. I know for sure I don't have to come into your store for a single thing.

I never write reviews, however, I feel it's important to write one. Every single time I have used this pharmacy, at the LWR location , I've experienced nothing but problems, unnecessary rudeness, and frustration... I received a text from this CVS (LWR)stating my prescription was filled and ready to be picked up. I was immediately disappointed because I had already requested for my Dr's office to send my prescription to another CVS location, due to the problems I've experienced in the past with this location... Since the text stated it was ready for pickup, I went ahead and drove to the location... When I arrived I was told that my prescription was NOT ready because it was an expensive prescription, so they didn't fill it.. I was confused because obviously I had received the text confirming that my prescription was filled and ready for pickup... I knew what the cost was and requested the prescription please be filled. I was then told that they would have to order it and Id have to wait until it came in... I asked if they could tell me an approximate time when I could expect it to be filled and I was told I would receive a text message letting me know that it was filled and ready for pickup.... Which is the exact reason why I was there in the first place I asked the Pharmacist(or tech )what I could do for this to not happen in the future. The Pharmacist(or tech )was extremely irritated by my question and would not provide any answer or suggestion.. I was not offered any sort of explanation or apology for their actions .. Every employee at this pharmacy that I have interacted with, I have spoken to them respectfully and with understanding... My expectation is to be treated and spoken to in the same manner... I have called my Dr office and requested to please delete the LWR CVS off of my chart for any further prescriptions...

Two instances to share before I move my prescriptions to another pharmacy:I've been waiting for 2 weeks for a prescription. I finally called about it today, and they said it's because they're waiting for an authorization form from the doctor that they've sent over to him twice. Spoke to the doctor, found out that's a lie, no such form is required for this medication. In another instance, picking up prescriptions for myself and my wife, I was told my wife's was not ready. That was interesting since I had a text from CVS saying it was over 4 hours prior. After a full 5 min back and forth the guy (begrudgingly) finally went to actually look for it, and lo and behold...there is was.Stay away. Use the Walgreens or the Publix, both right across the street. This place is a complete mess.

The store itself is ok but the women’s bathroom had no soap in either the handicap stall and at the main sink. I certainly hope employees have their own bathroom that has soap. The soap dispensers were on the wall but they did not have a bag inside of them. Pretty gross.

Try ANY other pharmacy besides this one if you are in Bradenton/LWR area. Terribly rude pharmacist/pharmacy techs who make you feel like a complete degenerate when you ask questions about a NEW prescription with side effects and directions. Doctors don't always cover all the bases beforehand. Why have a "consult" counter if you refuse to answer questions politely?STAY AWAY!!!

Hung up on me 2x before saying my prescription was ready, but when I arrived, it wasn’t even started! Have some respect for other people’s time. Walgreens, across the street is staffed by much nicer people, but apparently my insurance gets to dictate where I can go get medications filled.

Just tried to call to see about transferring my prescriptions. I was hoping this CVS would be better than the Walgreens and Publix nearby but I have never been treated so rudely over the phone. Wow. Just wow.

This is THE WORST PHARMACY EVER! I called at 1:20pm to make sure they received my son prescription for his ruptured ear drum, which is EXTREMELY PAINFUL, and I was told yes it will be ready in 15 minutes I said OK I'll be there waiting. I get here at 135pm and am told.they are closed for lunch. I have to wait till 2pm?? Meanwhile I have a child screaming pain! This is ridiculous that 1 the representation did not tell me they would be closed and 2 it wasn't ready like she said! I will NEVER use this CVS AGAIN. This is not the 1st time they have been inconsistent with what they say and what they do either. Then they come over speaker at 157 to say, we came back early for you, 3 mins really?? Get it together CVS !!!

They do absolutely nothing except consistently create fake excuses to withhold people’s medicine. Not only the worst pharmacists, but the worst people I’ve ever had to deal with.
