Do NOT choose this pharmacy. They have tried to give me more pills than I was supposed to have at times (a controlled substance at that). Now, they want to make me wait until the same day I need my medicine to fill it and let me pick it up. What? Bye!!

The pharmacy staff here are incompetent. If I was a paranoid person I'd say they have a vendetta against me with the way that EVERY visit there's an issue, and every new script requires multiple visits and calls to the pharmacy until I can actually get my meds.
I'll get notifications that my meds are ready, and when I go to pick them up, the staff tells me they are not ready, but ask me to come back in 20 minutes and they'll have them filled. No worries. I come back an hour later, still not filled. I get it, it's busy! But then tell me you need a few hours, not 20 minutes.
The staff here has mis-filled my medication before. My doctor prescribed me 30 days of my medication, and the staff only puts 10 days worth of pills in the bottle. I bring this to their attention, and they say it's me who misunderstood my doctor, despite the script being very clear for 30 days of meds.
They ask that I provide updated insurance info. I tell them there have been no updates, everything is the same as it has been for over 1 year. They say it's wrong, I'm not covered, tell me to call my insurance, and shoo me away. I called my insurance, there's no updates to my info! I can't imagine what the reason for this screw-up is.

This used to be my Pharmacy location for years, but I moved to a different city, and my doctor sent my prescription to the old address; as I was near the area, I stopped by CVS in Bradenton, and I saw a huge positive change in the store, starting with the staff pharmacy, and manager store (Grace). She was very helpful while I was making my purchase.

It is almost impossible to talk to a pharmacist due to the block they call a robot that asks you to tell them what you want so you play 65 questions and they finally will put you on hold for 18 minutes. CVS desperately needs a way to communicate unusual requests other than vaccines and refills. Put a link to leave a message!

The pharmacists are great. They seem way overworked. Service has gotten so much better. They always mention possible drug interactions and coupons.

I was simply there to pick up an online order and had to stand in line almost 10m while 1 of only 2 employees working the register area stood over the SELF checkout line INSTEAD of opening a second register. She literally was pulling bags and scanning items at the SELF checkout! There were 8 of us in the regular line, and one very young, very timid checkout girl helped us ??She gave no reason....just kept doing it for the self checkout. We were all about to switch lines so we, too, could SELF checkout with an employee scanning all our stuff instead of standing in line ?? Now mind you, I know 10m isn't a huge amount of time. But the inefficiency was so frustrating. Ridiculous!

Easy to deal with pharmacy and the app helps too with ordering refills etc. Store prices are high but it’s really a convenience store so that’s to be expected.

I truly try to avoid CVS. I have never experienced a pharmacy that tries harder to make excuses than it does to actually do the task.These are new excuses for me though, enjoy...1. I cannot update patient/physician information 2. We do not have any way to request medication refills.Needless to say I’ll continue using any other pharmacy.
