Had a lithium battery conversion done to my 2018 golf cart. Received the cart after the conversion only to find the brake lights no longer worked. Contacted the service dept. and a tech was sent out. Tech claimed the brake lights never worked and after spending time was able to resolve the problem. I have a video that shows the cart with the brake lights working prior to the conversion. Drove the cart until the battery required charging. Plugged in per instructions overnight and no charge. Contacted service dept. on Monday, and again on Wed. after no response. Basically I was told how to troubleshoot the problem including connecting and disconnecting several cords to the charger and charger port. Found what I believed was the problem and used some electrical tape to make sure the cords didn't come apart again. I've requested twice to have confirmation from the company to assure if I have an issue down the road that they will actually come out and resolve the problem and I've yet to receive a response 2 weeks later. The cost of the conversion was competitive but the follow-up was less than expected for the amount of money spent. I'm still waiting for a copy of the payment receipt that I was promised and have asked for a second time.

During the purchasing process of my golf cart, these guys were great, but I had my first service issue. To be honest, half of the problem was probably me. In any case, custom carts came out, picked up my golf cart serviced it and brought it back to me. The service was impeccable, they were timely, professional, kind, and courteous. I could not have imagine that the service would be so wonderful. I highly recommend this company during and after the purchase of your golf cart from them.Rick Z Siesta Key

We bought a cart ftom Capitol Carts in Largo that was supposed to be completely refurbished. Paid $11,000 for it and it's had to be in the shop twice in the first six months. Of course the warranty they gave us doesn't cover anything they have done. Can't recommend.

For two straight years the golf carts rented here did not work. This year the cart nearly stranded us blocks away from the house. We had to push it back. Once they picked up the cart, they claimed nothing was wrong with it, and threatened to not refund our money. They ended up refunding the full amount but charged us the delivery fee for a cart we were unable to use. If you are looking to rent a cart on AMI, go with another company.

The customer service here is EXCELLENT. I was facing a difficult time getting my Club Car titled and registered because I bought from a dealer who bought from Custom Carts and neglected to get the MSO (and they have been no help in finding it for me). So, I decided I needed to fix it myself. I called, and explained my dilemma to Marci at Custom Carts, and she not only understood and was kind in her interactions with me, she moved heaven and Earth to find a copy from storage and send it to me. I was at my wits end and close to giving up, and she turned it all around for me in 24 hours. She was even kind enough to send the original to me via FEDEX!!! If this is how they treat someone who didn’t buy from them (I sure wish I did) I can only imagine how well they treat their direct customers. My next cart is coming from Custom Carts for sure!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I’ve rented golf carts from custom carts for the last several years, last year the golf cart was so old that it would was barely drivable and it would backfire all the time while driving and they said this year that they would bring us a newer one. Got to AMI yesterday, and I had a message from Seth, he left it while I was touching down at the airport saying my card would not go through. I had just gotten a new card the day before as my card was breached several days prior and I did try to call them to let them know but they never answer their phones none of the ones they have listed or that is on my emails from them, I tried to call him back and left several messages within 20 minutes of his call and he did not answer. It did ring on the last call went straight to VM. Had no golf cart when we arrived and I was very fortunate to get another one on the island from another business, also emailed custom carts with no response. I’m so very disappointed in them, as a loyal customer who has rented from them for the last several years this upset me very much. I have never left a bad review for a business but felt I needed to regarding this instance.

When the new ClubCar was delivered it had flat spots on the tires. They picked it up, replaced the tires with radials instead of knobbies that normally comes with the lifted cart (per my request). Now it is great.
