I’ve Been a patient here for years and really feel like they care especially Dr Borg. I tend to ask a lot of questions and I’ve never felt rushed. I’ve had to call a few times when I was sick and as long as you call early in the day they will work you in.

UPDATE: 7/18/24: I called because I’m sick & it’s deep in my lungs, with a history of bronchitis. (tested prior to calling: CV19 negative twice!). So, I called for an appointment & was told to call in at 8am the following day and if someone could see me, they would let me know. Are you kidding me?? I can’t even make an appointment when I’m sick? This medical facility has become a joke. Oh, and my NP there quit because it was getting so ridiculous.
The same thing happened to my husband at the tail end of Covid, and I thought okay, they made different arrangements during CV19. But now that’s the standard? It’s unacceptable and if you can’t handle the volume, SHRINK IT DOWN so you can give just an inch of attention to your patients. Am I missing something here????
This is strike 2. And I don’t give 3, I just assume they’ll get the third strike next time. I’m leaving you & I’m taking my family with me to an office that cares!

I was a new patient seen Bijal Patal (I can not even call this person a physician), I asked for a dermatology appointment, Patel stated we do that here, she did not even look at my 3 very small warts. A resident came in started to blast the 3 small warts off, I asked her to stop at least 2 to 3 times, of course, she paid no attention to me. I had this done in Pittsburgh with my dermatologist, never felt a thing! In addition, Patal did not even look at my hand, she walked out when I asked for a referral. I told her I had bites on my ankles, Patel stated, "you are in Florida?" How inhumane. I work in medical showed my co workers, they said you were burnt, my dermatologist in Pgh agreed. Photos don't lie, this is after 7 days, all should have seen the very next day I could not move my fingers, they were so swollen. Dorothy R. Wilson

I have been a patient here for about 5 years now, and I absolutely love this drs office. The front office is great, nurses are responsive. I see Dr. Ashley and she’s relational, but also knows her stuff. If you are looking for a dr in the area, this office is a good place to check out!

When I call, they get me right in! it's amazing to have a doctors office that responds and listens to everything that I'm concerned about.

Called to get an appt, self pay. I was told self pay was not offered to new patients and inquired why as there is a medical issue and are willing to pay upfront for an appt and future appts. I was told that the owners decided to only accept clients with insurance. Moral of the story, your money is no good here and must be nice to be selective on whose issue you're going to address. Best of luck!

I received a voice mail on my phone from Cooper Family Medical saying that the doctor cancelled my wife and my appointment. My wife and I called the office to ask what happened and if I can reschedule in that week. The receptionist lady who picked up said they do not know the reason why our appointments were cancelled and she can reschedule, but that the week we are available was booked full, so we cancelled our appointment so we can reschedule in the future when we’re less busy. The lady then asked my wife her date of birth, and as my wife was saying 6, the lady said that she did not understand. My wife repeated her date of birth multiple times, but each time, the lady said she did not understand and got more and more aggressive and loud. My wife tried to count to see if she would understand but then the receptionist lady hung up on us.
We called the office again, and got a different receptionist lady, but when we asked for her name, she refused to say. My wife tried to explain what had happened and asked for the previous receptionist’s name, but the lady kept interrupting asking what was the point of the call and never said any names. My wife gave me the phone and I tried to explain, but she refused to do anything other than asking for what we are calling about, so we told them that we are cancelling our appointment so we can find a better time to reschedule. The receptionist lady said that she saw that we called earlier about that and that she can cancel the appointment immediately. When we ask her why she was ignoring our complaint and why she won’t tell us her name, she ignored us. She just says that she cancelled our appointments and then hung up on us.
This is not the 1st time where the office reception was rude when cancelling appointments, but it is by far the worst experience out of all of them. It seems like they only want to make new appointments and don’t like to cancel any appointments, even when the cause are their doctors cancelling them.
This experience is very disappointing; we have gone to Cooper Family Medical for many years.

Dr Pinero- horrible physician. Saw him for over a year, but actually only saw him twice otherwise saw a different nurse every time. Complied with all aspects of care came time to renew med and he told me to go see another physician!?, then called back and told me to schedule an appointment. This guy doesn't know what he's doing who he's seeing or what they're being seen for - he stinks.

I've been going to this practice since 2018 and have received incredibly good service from the support staff to MD/DO/ARNP. I highly recommend this practice, they go above and beyond to treat you well and not like a number like other medical group franchises.

Very kind, efficient and welcoming staff on my first visit. Dr. Pineo is easy to talk to, open to my views of caring for my health since I am very healthy and prefer not to use drugs. I was given the website patient portal to log into and found my visit posted completely and promptly. I'm so happy I made the jump from the last Dr. I feel if I need a question answered, someone will always be available to phone chat. The entire visit took just 1 hour which I thought was good, given my first visit with all the paperwork, etc.
You may have to wait several months for your first appt. After that, you can get in same day for emergency if needed. I feel relieved that if I ever get ill, I now have a great team to rely on!
If I could afford it though, I would see a funcional/homeopathic Dr.

Recent reviews concern me.
Same issues everywhere. Don’t expect a lot and then you will be happy.
