I give it this rating because the space for so much merchandise is very little, making the search for a particular product difficult to find, at Christmas it is impossible to go shopping in this store.

This store is a disaster. Must be understaffed or just not care, or both lol

Whoever is running the show should definitely be arrested or at the least fired. Not just store manager but supervisors as well. For letting grown adult workers flirt with (clearly) minors that also work there. I've seen on multiple occasions while shopping how some workers interact with each other. Holding on to each other. Long "passionate hugs" from an older man behind the registers to a very young looking female child working with him. And a supervisor that just stands there and eggs it on. Now I know Burlington is known for hiring 16 year olds and older, so management should be more on guard when it comes to the safety of the children who have chosen to work there. Including being able to insure the parents that their children will be 100% safe while being in the care of the supervisors in the store. Not to mention the vulgar conversations between supervisors and employees that my husband and I have heard throughout the store are ridiculous and distasteful. While shopping there a few days ago we finally came to a realization of how bad the store has become when we saw a worker grab onto another worker's head and put it in their crotch and just seeing that the other employees standing around laughing makes us think how in the world is this store still operating. This store is a joke. The employees are a joke. And management is a joke. Get it together or we will be contacting the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations.

This place is always a hot mess. However, the last two times that I have been in the store, I have **walked out** after going through the place and putting things in my cart... Let me clear, I had items in my cart that I wanted but I walked out because they have 1-2 cashiers and a line almost to the front door. It's both absurd and infuriating.Today while I was shopping, two employees (One was straightening the home goods area, the other one was just standing there talking to the one that was working) were discussing how they need to hire more people but will not because it is right after Christmas. After overhearing them I went almost directly to the front of the store to check out, and there was one cashier with enough people in line that it literally wrapped around the aisle and went into the store area.Burlington should get its house in order.

The customer service of the staff is a joke. The only thing the employees are concerned about is flirting with each other. Goodwill has a better selection of items than this store does, with better prices too. Loss prevention is almost nonexistent. Managers are always hiding in their offices, rather than helping employees at the check out. One employee manning the checkout vs 10 people trying to check out is ridiculous.

Very messy. Bad smell. Missing labels or wronge in general. Customer service is a zero. Very long lines while waiting in line employees joking around with very graphic distasteful subjects. Store manager right next to them not correcting the situation or helping. Most of all I felt unsafe. Never ever again will I step foot in any location after this visit and rest to be sure. I will be on my channel tonight with over a million subscribers expressing and showing my experience.

Holy chit! What a circus. Looked like a small tornado blew through each aisle, literally stuff everywhere, all over the floors and strewn everywhere. Counted 54 ( +/- 2 ) aggravated people waiting in line and 7 registers checking out and getting nowhere fast. Absolutely the wrong time and day to even think about shopping here! Rainy Saturday afternoon shopping was bad mistake. IF you have to shop here do it first thing in morning during week!!!! Parking lot was full. Hate parking lot traffic!!!

Many of the customers are tremendous pigs, the store is clean and organized and they come and water and do not put things back where they took them, then after they come with children, they let them do whatever they want, they break toys and They water everything and the parents as if nothing had happened, they do nothing to require the children, the employees have to be organizing everything again, because of the messes that so many children and adults make, they are spoiled, we employees are employees, not servants nor servants of the clients, just like the bathrooms, the women's bathrooms are always dirtier than the men's, many of the women who enter the bathroom are disgusting, the same thing they leave a pampers or papers thrown on the floor, the of cleaning, they don't have to be collecting their filth,Sometimes the store looks like a garbage dump, not because of the employees or the cleaning people, but because of the customers.

My husband and I stopped by in the store at 9 AM this morning. We were browsing around for good 30 minutes. My husband picked up 2 packs of Sensodyne toothpaste. As we were lining up to check out, we were perusing at the side aisle for items and my husband noticed a simiilar Sensodyne toothpaste, looked at it and placed it back where it was. All of a sudden, we heard this lady, a staff from Burlington, her name tag read "Ford" stating " you should put back the item where it belonged". My husband responded " I found it here, looked at it and placed it back where it was." The employee kept on ranting accusing my husband of taking items from other sections of store and leaving them on the side and that she is tired of putting it back to the right place. I told my husband not to respond but the store employee "Ford" kept on ranting behind us. Other customers in line were uncomfortable and rolled their eyes to what this store employee was saying. The employee "Ford" then paged the store manager "Deborah" on her radio. My husband and I didn't want to create a scene, so proceeded to check out. Store Manager "Deborah" came and we explained what we just experienced. We asked Deborah the first name of the rude employee "Ford" but the manager was very hesitant to say Ford's first name, gave us 2 different first names, whispering "Isazelle, then "Zooey" like she was afraid.I called the Burlington main number reported this rude, inappropriate , no customer service skills employee "Ford."We will never step into this Burlington store in Cortez Road, Bradenton, FL ever again.

Burlington now looks like a thrift store. The layout has changed. It is always a mess, dirty and unorganized. it's now a poor department store shopping experience. I will not be returning. The Sarasota store is the same way. I'm not sure if it is poor management and/or staffing. No matter the value, it's not worth the trip.

A bit chaotic, but still full of deals and some unique items.
