DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!! BVE botched my 2 yr old, healthy dog, Siren's, C section surgery, provided inadequate medical and drug treatment, neglected her and her puppies during recovery, resulting in the unnecessary death of one puppy, and ignored lab results indicating she was anemic and declining. They discharged her without informing us of the danger she was in - she was allowed to leave their care while having full knowledge that she may have been internally bleeding. They tried to cover up their mistake... The care Siren received when we brought her back to BVE after realizing something was wrong, was just as appalling. When we learned Siren needed emergency surgery, we were assured a blood transfusion would be available if needed. I specifically asked for this due to my suspicions about the hospital's adequacy, the clear signs that something was wrong, and that something had been wrong since prior to her being discharged to us. I also know that if this was a mistake by BVE, they would not want anyone else to open her up and find out. I was prepared to transfer her to another more reputable hospital. But against my better judgment, and knowing that time may be of the essence, I trusted BVE's reassurances. I will never forgive myself for putting my trust and the life of my precious Siren in the hands of such monsters. This will haunt me for the rest of my life. BVE's negligence and incompetence has devastated us, but more importantly, they killed Siren, and she deserves justice. No one should endure this kind of pain, knowing their dog was essentially murdered by those who swore to help animals. I'm disgusted and distraught. I beg everyone, DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! Money hungry, unqualified, monsters calling themselves animal lovers and medical professionals.

This is a beautiful facility with a caring staff. They helped us lead Jazzy over the Rainbow Bridge. We were treated with empathy and kindness. We are able to move forward with him in our heart knowing that our last memory was of us holding him close while he enjoyed a Pup Cup.

Heartbroken. I had to put my cat down today. As sad as I am, I want to post a review while it is fresh in my head.Bradenton Vet Emergency has a great group of people working there. They are all compassionate and truly understanding.Shout out to Stephanie (tech) who stood with me, hugged me and took time to console me after I found out that my cat didn't have a UTI and had bladder cancer that isn't curable. I was in a state of shock because I thought I was bringing my cat back in for another round of antibiotics, and it was devastating to find out he was so sick. Stephanie didn't rush me, she just was there for me in one of the worse moments. The kindness from her just touched me and made me feel so cared for in those horrible moments. Thank you, Stephanie!Today, I came back to put my cat down. Again, another compassionate experience. Dr. Mendez was the doctor on call, and she answered all my questions (as in are they sure this is bad as what I was told the day before--am I making the right decision etc) and she was so sweet about the whole process. Shout out to her tech as well (sorry I forgot name during this awful time) but she was so gentle & sweet as she walked me through the cremation process--thank you! And thank you to the kind lady working the front desk with the glasses today, she was so understanding and sympathetic from the time we arrived until we left without our kitty.Y'all are truly the sweetest people, and while my time there was one of the saddest times for me, I greatly appreciate the care and sympathy you showed me. Thank you to to the whole team!Spooky 2008-2024Full of joy and happiness, loved more than you will ever know.

Our 13yo lab needed to be seen on a Friday night and being new to the area with no established vet, we had to hope that we could trust all these great reviews! We were so comforted by the staff from the first phone call, to when we walked out the door. They were so caring, calming and compassionate. We could not recommend them more highly! We are so grateful to have found them!

Needed to get our 5 year old toy poodle in for help after acting out of sorts for most of day, Dec. 30, 2023. Contacted them late in the evening and decided to take her in at 12:30 am, Dec.31. Very short waiting time before seeing her, taking her vitals and a brief exam by technician, Lisa, who was most kind and gentle. Dr. Brittany Ross found that her anal glands had impacted and after expressing them, our dog acted like new. Can’t say enough good things about this place, staff and compassionate care. I would not hesitate to go back if necessary.

We brought our cat Chewie to you a couple of weeks ago. He was very sick, lethargic, swollen eye, wouldn't eat. After being treated at Bradenton Veterinary ER, honestly, my cat has never looked and felt healthier. I thank you so much for taking such good, quality care of chewie. Highly recommend these vets. Thank you.

My dog was attacked by another dog and I was covered in blood when I ran in barefoot at 6pm. This place got my dog in so fast and the receptionist went above and beyond. Jayden offered to give me her jacket or go to her car and get me her PERSONAL clean t shirt. I can’t thank her and the staff enough! Would recommend this place no doubt! We thank you!

Had an emergency with our husky Rumor at almost 2am last night. It was our first time here. They took us to a room very quickly with no wait. Every single person we talked to was kind and understanding and treated our dog like she was their own, which matters a lot when you’re in a panic. The doctor was very sweet and was very good about explaining the plan and making sure we didn’t have any questions. She had to stay overnight, and the doctor texted me personally in the morning to let me know she could go home and sent us a video. We got our girl back happy and healthy today. Thank you Dr. Ross and your team!

The most kind and compassionate staff you could ever ask for in the time of distress for your animal. Unfortunately,it did not end well but the final moments were amazing and so comforting. Could not have asked for more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This was a great experience even though the situation was scary. Our fur baby wasn't feeling well so I looked on yelp to find a 24 hour emergency vet clinic. This clinic had 5 stars and now I see why. The entrance was easy to get into with sliding doors. The waiting room was clean and did not smell like The Vet. The front desk technician was friendly and calm and got us checked in easily. Our wait wasn't too long. The vet technician came in and was very friendly and kind. She listened and asked questions of what we went through. Rosie our fur baby was taken I. The back where the Dr. Checked her vitals and came back in to explain treatment options. The vet was great in calming us both and explaining everything well. As I was thinking "what would you do if this was your dog", she suddenly explained which option she would choose and why, but that the second option would give us proof positive and comfort of knowing exactly what was going on inside our pooches tummy. We decided for the second option that was also the most expensive but we didn't want to be unsure and have to return. They got everything fine in about 20 minutes and brought her back to me. The vet said it took a little longer than normal because everyone was fawning over her, and that she was fine. She went over everything they did and showed me the X-rays. After explaining what we were looking at she said they would email them to us. They offered follow up care and instructions and said they would call us tomorrow to check on her. I wish the human emergency room ran that smoothly, was that clean and the staff was that friendly and nice. It's the only place I will go back to if there is an emergency, it was a 40 min. Drive but we'll worth the travel.
