I am very happy with the friendly and professional service I experienced to have new flooring installed today. I met with Dave Watts, the store manager, from the Manatee Ave. store and he facilitated the best choice for my particular needs. Dave ordered the materials which arrived quickly and had Tim install the flooring. The floor looks beautiful. Tim was efficient, on-time, installed the floor and cleaned up to my satisfaction. I don't typically take the time to provide a review but want to spare anyone else of the poor customer service provided by Bob's. There is little follow up or consideration for the customer. My carpet installation was scheduled for a Monday between 9:30 and 10 am and I was called at 10:10 due to my carpet being lost and they would not be able to install it. No pro-active follow up and after multiple calls, the carpet was found and rescheduled for the following day. Installers were 45 minutes late (nice people however). I had discussed some type of discount with Mark and Rebecca when I spoke with both, only to have my credit charged for the full remaining balance. The corporate office was equally as awful and their response was "you signed and contract and things happen." They apparently missed the customer service training. Will not be using again.

I certainly don't understand the negative reviews. LA Lopez came out and took precise measurements for ordering our Cali flooring. Our pricing included ALL materials, labor, moving furniture and appliances, removing 2 toilets and reinstalling them, tearing out old carpeting, and haul away. The flooring was delivered by Andrey a week later. Installation was started 2 days after that. All areas of transition from previous vinyl sheet floor to carpeted areas were addressed. The floor is gorgeous with no creaking or clicking anywhere. The installers, Slavik and Ivan, worked their hearts out, being very careful not to damage anything. They were very polite and professional. I can't speak highly enough about them. I would highly recommend Bob's for flooring needs!

We used Bob's Carpet and Flooring in Bradenton for LVT in all of our main living areas. We were advised that the floating floor is best. The floor is beautiful. However, the kitchen floor has dips and hollow spots in it that are terribly apparent to both our family and our guests. We contacted the Bradenton store in March. They sent out a repairman who said that the amount of movement was, indeed, unacceptable and and that it would be fixed to our satisfaction the next week. Four months, 9 phone calls, 3 scheduled repairs (none of which happened AND no phone call saying that they couldn't make it!), we still have no resolution. The manager has promised us so many times that he is "taking care of it."This company is deplorable. I would never recommend Bob's Carpet and Flooring. They are just not dependable.

Can I give a minus ????All these bad reviews....Speaks Volumes...Take care of your customers complaints...Admit your mistakeHappy Customers = good reviews...But...bad install ....refusal to fix your mistakes equal bad reviews....I see your response.....But every time my sister had reached out for satisfaction all she has ever received from your people....from the salesperson to the installer to the rep was lies and excuses.....No satisfaction or financial retribution......Carolyn Eubanks..... look it up and do the right thing......The way you business has handeled this from the install forward ....this entire situation is horrible.Refund her !!!!! We have pictures, witnesses , you haven’t offered any kind of refund or solution. Fix this complaint...From the beginning from the purchase she specifically told the sales lady...SHE NEEDED...a no fall hazard floor...No difference in height .....Yet no sub floor mentioned...to bring the vinyl to meet tile....not by the salesperson or installer....Was it their first days on the job ???This has been a trainwreck from the start...Months and months...A refund is in order...Fix this !!!!!

Bought my flooring here and paid extra to have the old tile covered with a material that would make the planks lay smoothly on top. After the install we felt lumps in the floor. The saleswoman came over and could feel them as well. After several calls to follow up we never received a call back to see how it would be fixed. Several years later we still walk on a lumpy floor. Very disappointed. Would never return here to buy flooring.

My mother has used Bob’s Carpet multiple times in the past and when she bought her new home she, of course, hired them to do replace her floors. What a huge mistake! It started with the sales woman at Bob’s im Bradenton was completely incompetent. She is, supposedly, the ‘flooring expert’ and gave my mom an estimate for sheet vinyl then lied and said my mom refused luxury laminate flooring. (My mom prefers sheet vinyl and thats that.) My mom ignored the sales woman’s rudeness and proceeded with the install. My mom knew the sheet vinyl height would be different than the floor it was joining, but the flooring expert said it wouldn’t be an issue. The sales woman NEVER said a height difference would be an issue, but after it was installed and the height difference was apparent; and my mom asked them to fix it and they failed. My mom got her handyman to replace the sheet vinyl and flashing so that the floor is mostly flush now, but she paid Bobs for a job that was done incorrectly AND she paid her handyman to fix their error. She voiced her complaints to the local Bobs store multiple times with no resolution then contacted the corporation office with still no resolution. This place is awful. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. If something goes wrong you’ll have to pay. Don’t expect them to own up to their mistakes. AGAIN, Bob's is a total joke. I was there with my mom when she talked to the salesperson. The salesperson NEVER discussed vinyl plank flooring nor did she ever say anything about a height difference. My mom had the money to buy more expensive flooring if she needed to, but the height difference was never discussed. She wanted a quality job done and didn't get it. And she has not received a $500 refund. Bob's, please do the right thing and issue my mom the refund she is due.

Do not use Bob's for your flooring needs! Sales and management lie, lie, lie. Have used them (different management ) in the past, current experience was horrible. They said that I was too cheap to buy correct product. They say they are the flooring experts , however the sales person never discussed with me height difference problems that they were not going to address. Height differences was discussed, by me regarding safety issues with my 89 year old mother moving in. After 3 months of waiting and multiple experts sent by Bob's, there was an additional cost to me of $700.00 for transitions that made the problem worse. The manager finally got involved and offered his solution to lay flooring on top of what had been installed by them. This was also at an additional cost to me. He also was not able to provide a timely install date . With a pending move in date I need to move quickly and had flooring installed to correct their problem. They owe me $1,865.00. Do not use Bob's for your flooring needs.

Had our carpet replaced to a floating floor, it looks great but it makes way too much noise. I was told it would not make noise once it was laid. Mind you, I do not ware heals, I wear house slippers or am barefoot. The floor clicks and cracks, it a waste of money. When the installers were here they did not bring the right tools that where needed, had to come back to correct a couple of times. Not vey professional, they even smoked weed outside of our condo. I'm sorry I got convinced to purchase this flooring. I was told it would not make noise.

We were very pleased being at Bob's Carpet for the first time. We found what we were looking for and it was a great price. We are even having it installed as fast as it was needed. The young lady taking care of us was very pleasant to be with!
