I have had the pleasure of knowing this team over the past several years whom have cared for our 6 animals through various life stages and needs. My sister runs a vet clinic in Michigan and has been a vet tech for 30 plus years so I am speaking from experience when I share that these doctors and the entire clinical and non clinical staff are all such a blessing! I GREATLY appreciate their expertise and kindness. PLEASE keep doing what you are doing!

Show up for my biweekly shot for my macaw vet tech comes out with needle in between her teeth. For some reason they do the shot behind the desk instead of an exam room. Sticks once and sticks again. Has to stick again so leaves to get another needle, phone rings, answers it , employee from back is on phone and tech says “we are giving simon his shot “ gets needle from another room and sticks again. A few hours later my parrot has blood in feathers. Never did this happen in over a year of getting this done. They blame it on parrot. For I have had him for 14 years and he is considered to be a good parrot to hold. I canceled my next appoin And asked for Dr Catalina to call me back and never heard from her. I was coming here because it was closer and better for my parrot then long drive. I went back to my long drive for the next shot and there was no problem. One poke and done. My last visit Lakewood ranch animal hospital was horrific. I don’t know why they did not take me to an exam room. Just a few minutes before shot there were about 4,5 employees including desk girl walking around but they all disappeared so I don’t understand why my parrots shot was given behind the reception desk to begin with I dint know if the message was given to Dr Catalina to call me. This was just crazy !

Dr. Catalina and her staff were very helpful. They do a great job explaining what needs to be done, as well as, providing everything needed.

I'm evacuating for Hurricane Milton. One of my cats got so stressed on the trip up from Sarasota that I stopped at the clinic to see if medications could be given. Though I was a walk-in, they took me in and allowed me to use an exam room to clean up my carriers. Dr. Jalbert was thorough and helpful, and the support staff were very sweet to my two cats. I was seen relatively quickly, even as a work in, and what Dr. Jalbert prescribed took care of my cat's travel stress. If they were close to where I live, they would become my vet clinic. Highly recommended.

Under the new ownership things are better. I havecstarted to bring my pets back to them. Their boarding program is great!

I recently brought my two dogs to Lakewood Ranch Animal Hospital, and I couldn't be happier with the care they received! The entire staff was amazing, from the moment we walked in. They were compassionate, thorough, and made sure my dogs were comfortable throughout the visit. I felt confident in the care they provided, and my pets were well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a trusted vet!

Wow! Just Wow! My beloved cat got sick suddenly and I made a desperate call to Animal Hospital at Lakewood Ranch. Despite closing soon, Dr Catalina and her team (including an incredibly sweet receptionist and skilled vet tech) squeezed my baby in for a new patient sick visit. I’ve never experienced anything like that before; truly above and beyond. Imagine my relief when I witnessed Dr. Catalina’s exquisite bedside manner and thorough evaluation of my fur baby, which led to the development of a cost-effective and successful treatment plan. I am beyond thankful for this animal hospital and its team. From the bottom of my heart (and Mando Meow’s) THANK YOU!

Dr Katarina was very through, very detailed. Took her time, not rushed, answered all my questions and concerns. Knew his history. So nice to see the same Dr again! I would highly recommend Animal Hospital at Lakewood Ranch!

If you need an animal hospital, and I sincerely hope not, Veterinary Animal Hospital at LWR is absolutely amazing. They call you back and pick up on the first ring. You can call at any time and get a doc on the phone to talk and answer all of your questions and never ever make you feel like an inconvenience. The actual doc calls with updates frequently. You can go visit anytime 24/7 and see your animal while they’re staying overnight. I just have nothing but nice things to say. Save the number/address for if you need it. ?
(AND a beautiful, clean facility with a very calming environment.)

Excellent service and staff. Dr. Catalina is the best. Truly cares about the animals she is treating. She became my veterinarian when I moved to Florida. She left the practice I met her at. She went to Animal Hospital at Lakewood Ranch. I drive 90 minutes round trip out of my way because she is that good of Veterinarian. I completely trust her taking care of my 4 dogs that have their own set of issues. She has been diligent in resolving their issues. Highly recommend Animal Hospital at Lakewood Ranch to anyone looking for a Veterinarian or considering changing Veterinarian's.

Everyone was extremely helpful and caring. The vets and the assistants took ample time with my dog and addressed all issues. As a new dog mom, this experience helped so much to give my pup the best quality of life. I definitely recommend this office!
