My stay at Island Time Beach Hotel, managed by AMILocals, was an absolute nightmare. I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience to warn others about the abysmal conditions and the lackluster response from the management company.Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately greeted by an overpowering stench of humidity that engulfed the room. It was evident that the room had not been properly ventilated, leading to a damp and unpleasant atmosphere. To make matters worse, black mold was visible on the walls, posing serious health risks and creating an utterly unsanitary environment. The advertised amenities turned out to be nothing but false promises. The refrigerator in the room was non-functional, leaving us without the means to store perishable items or enjoy a chilled beverage on a hot day. This lack of basic functionality is inexcusable and demonstrates a disregard for guests' comfort and satisfaction.Adding to our frustration, the room we booked was supposed to accommodate a specific number of beds, but it fell short by one bed space. As a result, one member of our group was forced to sleep on the floor, leading to an uncomfortable and unacceptable sleeping arrangement. We promptly reported the issue to the hotel management, and their response was utterly disappointing. Their solution was to send someone at the ungodly hour of 3AM with an inflatable mattress. However, this makeshift solution quickly proved to be a joke, as the mattress deflated itself within an hour, leaving the person stranded on the floor once again. To add insult to injury, when I spoke with the management about the litany of issues we encountered, their proposed resolution was a mere $100 discount off the reservation. This paltry compensation does not even come close to addressing the multiple inconveniences and health hazards we endured during our stay. The complete lack of professionalism and care exhibited by Island Time Beach Hotel and AMILocals is appalling. It is evident that guest satisfaction and well-being are not priorities for them. I strongly urge prospective guests to steer clear of this establishment and explore other options that prioritize cleanliness, functionality, and guest comfort. My experience at Island Time Beach Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare, and the indifferent response from AMILocals only served to compound our frustration. Save yourself the anguish and disappointment by seeking accommodation elsewhere. It is disheartening to witness such negligence and substandard service from a hotel and management company that purport to provide a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The outside looks abandoned. Needs lots of work. At least throw away old newspapers left outside units. Inside smelled bad. Musty/ mildewy and sewage.10 o'clock check out too early. Not accommodating for a later check out.

Pros - great location on Bridge Street, short 1 minute walk to the beach, small but enough for two people.Cons - wall unit not working so a portable unit and a dehumidifier was used. The place smelled like mold and the bathroom smelled like a sewer. Contacted the property manager and was told they’d send someone out the next morning to inspect. No one ever came that day or the next. Communication via text was pointless. We asked if we could move to another unit, never got a response. We would’ve just left and gone to another hotel but the island was BOOKED for Father’s Day weekend so we had no choice but to stay. I requested a refund but was denied.Would not recommend. Stay across the street instead it there’s a vacancy.

How was your stay? This "charming" inn was very disappointing. Charming translated to old and although it was clean, it is way past its prime. We could have accepted the rusting outdoor furniture, decaying outdoor steps to our suite and stained furniture, but our 2 night stay turned into a 1 night stay due to the loud party that was held in the suite next door from midnight to approx 3 AM. There is no management at this location so it's not possible to lodge a complaint until the next day, which is not helpful. There are notices in the suite about the Noise Ordinance being strictly enforced, but that is not the case. We called the office the next day to see if they had another suite at another property, but they did not respond. Please don't waste your money on this property. It was a terrible experience.

Do not stay here!!!! This "Inn" is old and decrepit. The only good thing about this place is that its location is one block to the beach. The walls are paper thin. Our unit had central air but most of the units had old wallbanger AC units. The furniture was old and stained. The people in the unit next to us threw a party at 1AM. There is no managment representation on site to enforce the "noise ordinance." We complained to the management company and requested 1 night refund or to be moved to another one of there managed properties. We never heard from the manager who was supposed to return our call. We spent $1000 for a 2 night stay which is exorbitant given the condition of this place. Any positive reviews you may have read about this place had to have been sponsored. This place is a pit!

Expensive? Yes! Worth it though. Old motel right on Bridge Street across from the beach. Unit 5. 1 bedroom unit. Seems the rest of the rooms non operational. The building soon to be demolished. Had the courtyard to ourselves. Furniture shabby chic at best but very clean. Strong internet with hulu. Live music all over the street. Absolutely excellent old Florida charm.

Location is everything, right on Bridge St. Otherwise not very nice. Room was tiny and not cleaned well. Shower was obsolete with low water flow and clogged drain. Needs significant updating.

Part of the building had a stop work order from the building inspector, the wall ac unit didn’t work they put in a floor unit, had not been updated since the 60’s and they charged over $400 a night. They should be embarrassed.

This was our slice of paradise for a week and I wish we didn't have to leave! Our little family loved every minute. The Island Time Inn and AMI will be beloved memories for a lifetime!
