Nice room looking out on the gulf. Location is great. Check in/out is easy. It’s older but has all you need for a beach stay in

The manager Marty was incredibly attentive and friendly. She really takes care of the guest. The rooms are a little outdated, but the service and the view to the beach are amazing (for me this were much worth). We really loved it.

Room with spectacular view. Right on the beach, and Marty was great! Room had filthy floors, sagging beds, and toilets hardly flush. Pile of crumbs under the toaster BUT Clean hot showers and lots of games and things to do on the beautiful patio over looking the ocean. Pet friendly a big plus! Great location!

I had my birthday weekend there. The Manager Marty's attention to detail and level of class was way more than anyone could expect. Dream Island is a hidden gem right on the most beautiful beach in the country. I highly recommend it as a place to have an event/party, vacation or just a getaway.

The location of this place is awesome, but the rooms leave a lot to be desired, at least the room we were in, it needs a complete makeover specially for the money they charge, the only positive thing besides the location was the staff, great and friendly ?. The only two reasons why I gave this local a high

What ever you do stay away from Anna Maria Island Dream Inn. They (Mgt)will steal your credit card information and lie about it to your credit card company. Sadly after 30 years of vactions on the Island with great reviews of all the businesses on the Island we discovered the bad apple

Rented a room for family during spring break, cost approximately $500 a night…..pics on Google made it look like a nice stay, EXTREMELY DECEIVING!!! Beds were old and dirty, everything was rusted out and old…hundreds of little bugs crawling in and out from behind the rotted out floorboards in kitchen….kids refused to stay and I refused to let them…..beds and the blankets they expected us to use were older than me and DISGUSTING!!!!!

Booked 3 nights in a gulf front room at AMI Dream Inn with high hopes (after reading very mixed reviews) and unfortunately the negative reviews were accurate and exactly what my family & I experienced. Book with CAUTION!All appeared "ok" at check-in, and we headed straight to the beach which is the ONLY positive aspect of this hotel - the location & views are wonderful. Once we returned to the room to get settled in and shower, we started noticing all of the issues with this $415/night room:1) The shower handle was broken (unable to adjust water temperature) and after notifying the office we were given 2 screwdrivers to attempt to fix ourselves & assured that the handyman would stop by the next morning. No one attempted to fix or even contact us for the rest of the stay about the issue, thankfully my husband was able to remove the broken handle and we used a screw to adjust the temp so we could bathe our 2 small children. The drain was also so clogged that water pooled during even a quick shower.2) There is an active termite infestation in the room, there were very obvious piles of termite droppings in the kitchen and one of the TV armoires (pics attached) when we checked in that had not been cleaned. We constantly saw live termites around the bathroom sink. Notified the office and the receptionist acted very "surprised" and sent someone up to clean right away - but also mentioned that the room (and multiple others) had been treated for termites recently. I have no idea how cleaners would have missed the droppings if they actually cleaned the room.3) ALL of the linens were stained & in need of replacement. Towels & washcloths excessively stained with makeup, bed sheets with rust (and who knows what) stains, blankets with holes in them. I asked the nice woman who came to clean the termite droppings for new towels and sheets and she graciously went and found some clean, unstained ones for us.4) The bedding in the master had not been changed, there were long hairs on the "clean" pillowcases and in between the sheets. One of the pillows had mold on it when the pillowcase was removed. The comforter was soiled and also had not been swapped. The cleaner confirmed that they do not sanitize or change out comforters every time, only if it’s obviously dirty (eww). Thankfully, I was able to get a clean set of sheets and a clean blanket and I changed the bed myself.Overall, it's just a shame that there is no pride of ownership here. This place could be a gem on the beach but instead it's a run down place in serious need of an overhaul and change of management.

Staff was very friendly/ helpful.Room needs TONS of work. Our bed was terrible (you can feel the springs) and the tub looked dirty(not the fault of the cleaning staff). Just VERY old and dingy. The best part was that it is right on the beautiful beach.

Amazing location, everything we could have asked for. It is right on the beach, they provide towels, beach chairs, and games for you as well. Marty and her daughter Dawn were extremely helpful and gave such great recommendations around the island. Will definitely be returning and telling everyone about AMI Dream Inn!

Great place to stay! Marty and her staff are great too! Love the southern hospitality. Right on a private beach with chairs and umbrellas & beach supplies. It's a small older property that has been updated over the years. The rooms are clean with beautiful views.

If the only thing you care for is being ocean front, then go ahead and book here. Beware you may book thinking you will be staying at the Anna Maria Island Dream Inn but they may have you stay at Bamboo. They own several other hotels and are able to place you in any of them. The parking is limited. The rooms are super dated. It is one thing to know you will be staying in a dated room but it's another thing to walk into a room that is not ready for you. The bathroom floor was full of bathroom scum, the utensils were dirty with food from the previous people, the bed sheets were stained, the floors had mold, I did not feel safe. I booked 2 different rooms and both were in the same fashion. The stove was not working, the refrigerator was rusted, the balcony smelled like urine. Needless to say we stayed one night and the following morning we were forced to look for another hotel. Thankfully we found one and left the next day before 3 pm. I complained at the front desk that the rooms were not up to par with expectation and I was told that a refund is not possible. The units are privately owned and the lady at the front desk told me she was going to send an email to both owners of the units we paid for C18 and C19. I was going to be CC'd on the email, this never happened. I emailed the hotel asking for a refund of the 6 nights, I was willing to pay for the one night, nothing. Yes the staff is friendly but this does not cut it. Owners need to take accountability.

Booked 3 nights in a 1 bedroom oceanfront unit.. The room itself is in dire need of a renovation. The view was perfect. The resort and I use the term loosely also needs major upgrades. Our last night we returned to a swarm of termites. Needless to say after some cleanup we didn't sleep well. In the morning we explained what happened and we were told a refund of the last night would be forthcoming. A week later we were told after sending an email inquiring about the refund that they don't give refunds. We were awarded a credit for one night so that we may return in the future. We probably won't return after such a pitiful response on a $412 dollar a night room. Someone once told me that nightmares are dreams too!! Truthfully I expected better. There are equally good views other places where the guest experience trumps profit. ??two thumbs down here!!
