I recently visited Zips Car Wash on congress, I had an extremely disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I pulled in, the attendant’s aggressive demeanor was off-putting. Instead of a friendly greeting, I was met with a loud, impatient demand to park my car in a specific spot. It felt more like a drill sergeant than a customer service representative.
As I got out to clarify my service options, the attendant continued to be rude, interrupting me mid-sentence and making me feel unwelcome. I understand that a busy car wash can create pressure, but there’s no excuse for being outright disrespectful. When I asked about specific services, the attendant snapped at me, clearly annoyed by my questions.
The final straw was when I tried to use the kiosk to pay in order to avoid the rude attendant, just to have the attended swat my hand away and jump in front of the screen in order to charge me on their IPad. The screen asked $12.99 for a 1 time car wash, his screen was asking 18.99. A $6 difference in which I was confused and appalled. When I expressed my discomfort, he barked at me to “just leave then,” which only made me more anxious and prompted me to reverse and leave the property to never come back.
After this experience, I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. I called their customer service line which was a 3rd party which did not help address the issue. I would not recommend any of the zips car wash’s to anyone. There are plenty of other car washes that provide better service and treat customers with respect. This place has lost my business for good, and I urge others to think twice before visiting. The last thing you want is to pay for a service and leave feeling worse than when you arrived.

Doesn't wash entire car or my last one. Said $15 for 3 months unlimited, they charged $25 and after first wash and showing them. They charged $25, total scam mostly the owner.

Warning: Don’t Waste Your Money at Zips Car Wash!
I’m writing this review to hopefully save others from being ripped off by Zips Car Wash. For over two months, I've reported multiple issues to management, and absolutely nothing has been fixed. If you're paying for anything beyond the basic wash, consider yourself robbed.
I have two memberships for two cars – one at the base level and one at the top tier – and, shockingly, both cars receive the exact same wash. It’s clear the upgraded services don’t work as advertised. Here are the issues:
Tire Shine: Doesn’t work.
Ceramic Coating: Nonexistent.
Blow Dryer: Ineffective, doesn’t even target specific areas. The blowers are stuck in one position and doesn't oscillate.
Blue Residue: Left all over the car after each wash once it dries it stains the finish on the car.
It’s obvious the owners don’t care about quality or customer satisfaction, as they’ve been aware of these problems for months but haven’t taken action to resolve them. They must be Democrats because they are ruining that business like Biden Harris is ruining our country. I'm done wasting money here and will be canceling my memberships to try EL CarWash or Rub-a-Dub – at least they seem to value their customers.

It's been quite a while that I got a car wash, so I decided that I was going to get an interior and exterior wash. I pulled up to the entrance and told the guy that I just wanted a basic interior/ exterior wash. He puts his tablet in my face, and I reiterated to him my request. He says, "just pick one" so I did, and went through the car wash, and pulled up to a random vacuum looking for an employee to guide me to the area where the interior is washed. I went up to the employee that helped me and asked him where to pull into for an interior wash. He then explains to me that they don't provide that service there. That would have been helpful information to me at the entrance before he took my payment. He then goes ahead and insults me. Needless to say, I will not be using their services ever again, i would much rather drive all the way to Boca Raton to Rising Tide Car Wash for a much more professional experience.

Recently, the car wash facility has been experiencing intermittent closures due to maintenance issues or unexplained reasons. Additionally, the vacuum machines are either out of service or lack sufficient suction power. Furthermore, the establishment tends to be overcrowded at times. It has also been observed that the car wash process does not consistently include pressure washing both sides of the vehicle, and this service has been entirely absent in recent times.

Very unhappy with the service provided at zips car wash Boynton Beach, Florida 10/16/24. I had earned enough points for a free car wash and tried to redeem them the man working at the gate was very UNhelpful he said he knew nothing about the app and offered me a 50% off on a car wash which he mentioned three times during our brief conversation. I told him I wasn’t there for a 50% off car wash. I was there to redeem my points again said II don’t know anything about it. I couldn’t find where my points went so he didn’t help me and told me to back up going in the wrong direction on a one-way road needless to say, someone almost ran into me and it would have been my fault for backing up on a one-way road. This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems at this location with the people working there. I don’t recommend and I will never go back there. Very sad because it was very convenient for me. also very difficult to try to get a hold of someone to talk to at an office level when I finally did get through. It said the business was closed and I’m guessing it was lunchtime???

Not trustworthy. Two months ago I went in there and got a one month unlimited wash. I specifically said that I am only interested in one month service. I did not sign in for auto renewal. In my credit card statement I saw somehow I was signed in for auto monthly renewal. This is not what I would expect from a reputable service. If I have not bothered to look at my credit card statement, I would not have known about this auto renewal aspect. I will never go back to this place. This is deceptive practice.

Quality has gone down so much, but the price keeps going up. I get tired of sending emails to the company with what's broken because it doesn't matter, and nothing changes. The soap never gets rinsed of completely, the tires get shined on occasion and normally just one side.

I've had it with this place. They sell memberships in both access lanes so getting in and out can be a real problem. You often pay vacuum bingo, driving around trying to find one that works well. The latest incident made me cancel my membership, though. There are no signs telling you the hours, so when there are no cones to tell you the access lanes are closed, then you pull up and the scanner verifies your membership and raises the bar to let you in, there is no reason to think they're closed. You shouldn't be spoken to like you're the idiot for pulling up the the wash entrance. When you're told "as a member, you should know if there's nobody at the gate, we're closed" and a a member for 8 years you have had COUNTLESS WASHES WHEN NOBODY WAS AT THE GATE, and then when you suggest that the cones should have been there to indicate they are closed, and you're told "I DO WHAT I WANT", it's time to find another place. I don't need to be chastised because some idiot doesn't know how to do his job. Overpriced, inconvenient and rude are a bad combination that have finally overrode the convenience of their location. Somebody PLEASE open another car wash nearby. You'll make a mint off of all the people that are ready to ditch this place.

I've given this place 5 weeks to fix their equipment, advertising tire shine and wax in their top plan. They don't answer their phone and you keep getting billed. WARNING: DO NOT SIGN UP. CANCELLING IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. When I finally got them on the phone, they tacked on an additional month. Now I have to file a claim with my credit card. The lady who answered the phone threatened to show the bank my acknowledgement and defend more charges!!!! Wow!
