I want to send a huge thank you to Ryan, the incredibly kind employee at Publix Supermarket in Delray Beach on Hagen Ranch Rd., Wittworth Shopping Center. While shopping at the Publix store in Delray Beach I stopped to buy myself some flowers. Having recently lost my husband this was my first Valentine's Day alone. I recognized Ryan as the young man who previously worked at another store that I frequent often for the past 16 years. He showed me a beautiful bouquet that had just come in. I looked at the price and told him I didn't want to spend that much money. I then told him of my husband's recent passing. I picked some flowers for myself and continued on with my shopping. While at the deli counter Ryan appeared at my side with that beautiful bouquet of flowers he had shown me. He said he wanted to give them to me, from his heart. After taking a deep breath recognizing his kindness I told him that I was able to purchase them myself and I would love it if he would offer them to a woman who may not be able to buy herself flowers, or a very senior citizen woman. ( I too an a young senior citizen ) I am so grateful for his kindness on the day before Valentines day. I will never forget it. He has renewed my faith in humanity.

I have a terrible experience at this location with their online ordering. Not only was the order canceled by Publix for lack of advertise product. Then I was mocked and rudely spoken to by the deli counter. No mention of any kind of replacement, and or substitute was offered. The manager Dan was great but by then my lunch was passed and that would defeat the purpose of ordering ahead. It used to be shopping was a pleasure. I'm sorely disappointed.

Today I was in the publix at whitworth farms - it is one of the smaller stores but it generally has almost everything I need. The employees are all terrific. Any time I've asked for assistance, I am met with pleasant people willing to go the extra yard. I go to this Publix often - While many of their prices are quite high, I love the BOGO's, the produce is lovely, the deli is fabulous - - they really do make the best subs I've ever eaten. I have never left this Publix unhappy - - great store - - great service. If you need a birthday cake - those are great too :)

One word WEEVILS. I just bought boxes of pasta from this Publix , pulled them out of the bag placed on my counter and multiple weevils crawled out. When I took the pasta back the manager told me it was natural and nothing to do with Publix. I literally just got my house fumigated because of a weevil problem from boxes of pasta in my pantry. I only shop at this Publix so I see where the source is. The weevils were in boxes from multiple brands so I fail to see how it could be a manufacturer issue. Disgusted both in the issue and the response

Really clean supermarket and such a variety of items ... their pre-made food is actually really good , better then some local restaurant spots . I would think it's the best choice from the entire shopping center. A bit pricey but worth it.

Everyone at this store is so helpful. I cannot imagine better customer service than is shown here. The store is very clean. All the managers are extremely helpful. Every time my wife and I checkout we are asked if we were able to find everything we needed and if we need any help bringing our groceries to our car. My only issue is not everyone working here wear masks. I know the Florida law is in question but it sure would make us feel better if masks were required.

Once again I'm leaving this store completely enraged. I've said before I'll never go back and this time I mean it. I spent $60 on dinner items and felt lucky so I went and put $5 into the lottery machine. The guy at the customer service desk was helping another man when he told me he needed my ID. I asked why. He said he needed to verify that I was old enough to buy lottery tickets. Now let's get real. I'm CLEARLY OVER 18!!!! Even with a mask on!! I have 4 GRANDCHILDREN. Now, Some would feel flattered. I feel outright harassed. I told him to come open the machine and give me my $5 back as I was not about to show him my ID when I'm CLEARLY old enough to buy a lottery ticket.

This part of the county is saturated with Publix Super Markets. Every major intersection that has a strip mall seems to have a Publix and so here we are at Hagen Ranch and Flavor Pict, which is about a mile from my Dad's place. This is *his* Publix. The store is one of the larger format supermarkets with wide aisles. Bakery, deli and sandwiches made to order. Seafood, meats, a great bunker of cheeses and other tasty bites. The store does require masks for all patrons as well as staff. Plexiglas partitions are set up at the registers and the aisles are marked as one-way only (but lots of folks are apparently too stupid to read).Overall a very pleasant shop and I'm sure I will be back.[Review 13690 overall, 1010 of 2020, number 1102 in Florida.]

Since we live around the corner this has always been our go-to super market. The place is very clean, organized and I love the buy 2 get 2 free deals they always have. The reason they are not getting 5 stars is because of their customer service... or LACK there of. Yesterday it was not just one employee...but 2 employees who were super negative and basically sourpusses. I understand this is a stressful time but this is when everyone needs to dig deep and find a smile. Especially in an essential business like a grocery store. I asked one employee where i could find an item and he did not even look up but mumbled something. When I asked him again for clarification he looked like he was about to chastise me for asking such a ludicrous question as to where I may find the bread crumbs. Then there was the check out cashier. She also acted as if I was inconveniencing her day by asking her to ring me up. I am writing this review as constructive criticism and hopefully someone will read this and tell their staff to smile a little more.

For a store that normally prides itself on customer service, I was publicly chastised at the "courtesy" desk by Asst. Manager Glenn today. First off let me say I enjoy shopping here, visit often, check out large orders $100+ most times, and know several staff by name. It's that relationship that made today even more infuriating. On my last visit I purchased a bag of Keebler cookies. Upon unpacking at home I realized the bag was open. This visit, I brought the package with me, along with the receipt. I did my normal shopping, again a $100+ order, and stopped at the courtesy desk to make an even exchange with a new bag before checking out. There were several people waiting for help. While waiting patiently, Glenn asked me what I needed. I replied an even exchange. It was then, in front of other customers he chastised me about the "return policy". He said "all returns have to be made immediately upon entering the store, just so you know, for next time". Really? I'm standing there with a full cart and you are going to reprimand me and imply you will do me a "favor" by facilitating an even exchange for which I have the receipt? I know there must be people who scam on returns, etc. but KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS! There is nothing worse to me than being a loyal customer, spending large amounts of money each week, and being treated like a criminal in return. If I didn't need what was in my cart, I would have left it right there and walked out. An apology is in order.

First let me say this is not the only problem with Publix I have experienced recently. Ridiculously long lines at the deli counter while one employee moves slow enough to be almost moving backwards. Or the pharmacy that texted me my prescription was ready and when I went to pick it up, I was told to wait 20 minutes. This time it was the bakery, I went in four days early to put in a special order for 60th Birthday cake. I was supposed to pick the cake up at 10 am. I appeared at the bakery at 10:45 am. The cake was not ready, the cake had the wrong color icing and I later found out the cake did not have the desired filling either. This was a prebaked sell it to anybody cake. To make matters worse the woman in the bakery started an argument with me about the ordered colors of the cake . ''She said that`s not the way we do it and this looks better." A manager appeared to try and remedy the situation, and a good thing for the bakery woman. The cake was hastily repaired and we went on our way, only later did we find out about the filling. I now wonder why I spent the hour driving over there to special order a cake. Perhaps I just wanted an encounter with an unprofessional, discourteous, bakery clerk .Attention PUBLIX AND SHOPPERS, customer service is more than salutations and did you find what you where looking for? Premium prices, bad service and an attitude from your employee I don`t need !

Got to love the store, I don't know if it's the buy one get one free specials, the employees that are so incredibly helpful and take me to whatever it is I want to buy with a prices which are about half of what I was paying in NYC. Oh and they were never mind it's never a production just easy nice shopping. Can you tell I bought double of everything and saved 50%, Ice cream, beer, wine, salad, brownie mix ....

I love this place. Clean, well organized with friendly staff. Management sets the tone for a positive, respectful atmosphere. The store is well stocked even as a hurricane approaches. This publix at Whitworth Farm, Hagen Ranch, and Flavor Pict sets the standard for quality. Thank you to Amanda and a wonderful staff.
