Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Boynton Beach, FL, is a 24-hour emergency animal hospital serving the surrounding coastal areas. It provides emergency vet treatment, including surgeries, endoscopy, oxygen therapy, and x-rays, where owners can stay with their pet the entire time. The care is consistently described as great, wonderful, excellent, top-quality, and top-notch. The staff is noted as extremely caring, supportive, professional, warm, compassionate, kind, and fabulous. They treat pets like royalty and make owners feel instantly comfortable and at home, offering snacks and drinks. The team thoroughly explains conditions and treatment plans, provides updates, and is honest and respectful. Follow-up calls to check on pets are also appreciated. While the expertise and compassion receive the highest praise, some feedback notes that the cost of emergency care is understandably high but can be surprising. The way of explaining billing to distressed owners is noted as not ideal and could be more transparent. However, the team is acknowledged for doing everything in their power to help find solutions when cost becomes a concern. Overall, the hospital is highly recommended for its excellent, compassionate emergency care, with many reviewers stating it is the best veterinary experience they have had.
Friendly, caring staff who work together to make the pets and owners feel comfortable in a stressful situation. Pricing seems a bit high but might be in line with this area of the U.S. I would still recommend this group for anyone with an urgent pet car need.
