(Refund or not I shouldn't have to keep quiet about my experience.)
I had came in Friday morning on the 12th excited to try a new salon that knows how to do curly hair. I have been growing out my hair for 5+ years and it had gotten long enough to where it reached my waist while stretched. My stylist Noelia sat me down and asked what I wanted which is when I told her I’d like to keep my length but have some framing in the front/top. I even showed her the pictures below as my reference. She said she understood and got to work, I didn’t see how much she was cutting in the back because of course that’s in the back of my head and I couldn’t look down to the floor to see how much was being cut but I trusted her as she said she knew what I wanted. By the end result my hair was half as short as I came in with…I couldn’t get the words out as I was holding back tears and all I could say was “it’s pretty short haha…” and she proceeded to tell me I could just try to stretch it more. Trying not to be rude I just said ok maybe I have to style it myself at home so after paying I got in the car and immediately began to sob as I have never felt so ugly in my life and my hair was now when stretched only reaching the middle of my chest. I waited to wash my hair again to make sure I was 100% unhappy and I was..so I called and the second time I called the manager told me “and what would you like for us to do?” Um. Something?? If I clearly left with something that I did NOT want it’s the owners/managers job to give me options on how to resolve this issue. I cry every time I look at my hair knowing I’ll have to work for 5 years again just to regain what they took. The second picture below is my hair before and the last picture is my hair right after.
When I called them for the third time after two previous times where they told me the owner or whoever’s in charge would be in, they finally set on calling me Wednesday which I did in fact end up being the one to call instead because I also have a life and a job and couldn’t be waiting all day through my shift for a call so I decided to be the one to reach out and ask if she could talk which she then said she would’ve called me at 6 which is fine but again I have a life and a job as well. The lady made me honestly feel pretty gaslit by saying things like “if a refund would REALLY make this all go away I could give you that but your hairs still gone so I’m not sure what we can do for you” which I proceeded to say “as an establishment you should be giving me options as to what you can do for me after a bad haircut” and she just kept going back and forth and so did I when she finally said she would give me a refund. Yes a refund is what I wanted because I don’t want to have paid 150+ (tip included) for something I DID NOT want but I will still have to live months and months with a terrible haircut that makes me cry every time I look at it in the mirror. I also want to say that I did like my stylist. She was nice to me which is why when they sent out their personal “let us know how your visit was” survey I gave a honest review saying how I love noelia BUT was very unhappy with my haircut. I don’t wish any ill intent on her because again she was sweet but just didn’t give me what I wanted…the people who surprisingly weren’t the nicest was the owner or whoever was on the phone with me who just honestly made me lose my temper because it makes me so upset how they act like I’m overly dramatic or aggressive when I only got frustrated after seeing that they did not care. An “I’m sorry” will not bring back my hair. They also preceded to send me a text with my “before and after” that doesn’t do anything because in my after my head was tilted back therefore appearing longer and regardless i can show multiple pictures of how short it is now standing straight. Very unprofessional in my opinion and I was nice up until the last phone call which my sister and coworkers sat next to me during and witnessed her behavior.

Isabel is fantastic! She’s always done my hair perfectly and I feel like a million bucks every time I leave the salon. She’s absolutely a master of the trade! The salon is beautiful as well and it’s very enjoyable to get services done there.

although i wasn’t a client of this establishment, i do feel obligated to come on here and write a review on the way this salon handled my sister’s bad haircut. especially because i was witness to all of this. my sister has always had problems with insecurity and for once she’d finally started feeling good about herself and gaining confidence with her appearance. her hair was a big reasoning behind that since she’s been caring and growing it for 5 years consecutively. she decided recently to put her trust on this salon to give her some FRAMING to enhance her already long and beautiful curly hair. she wanted to keep the length because she’s been growing it out for so long and it meant a lot to her. after putting her trust on a hair stylist there and also having a heart to heart about her hair journey with the stylist meanwhile also letting them know she really wanted to keep the length, she messaged me right after she got in the car from her appointment that she was sobbing and explaining how she felt ugly and that they did nothing close to what she wanted. honestly i thought it wasn’t a big deal until i saw her in person and the before & after.. they cut so much hair off it was jaw dropping. it looked NOTHING like the reference pictures either. they gave her a short bob even though she wanted to keep her length which was to her waist (stretched) originally. my sister was sobbing and sobbing and to this day she still is. she tried washing and styling it to give the stylist the benefit of the doubt but it wasn’t fixing the situation at all. although this happened she still tried leaving a decent review (3 stars) on their personal survey for the hair stylist saying she was kind and amazing but her work wasn’t what she wanted. she also tried reaching out to the salon because people around her told her to in which she was met which interesting responses.. i was there for 2 of the three calls exchanged. mind you, every call she had to be the one to reach out because no one wanted to get back to her. she finally called again for the 3rd time after being promised someone would reach out and she was met with the nastiest reaction/response from the supposed “owner”. mind you, my sister is young. she isn’t argumentative whatsoever. honestly at times she’s a little TOO nice but i’m glad she stood her ground in this situation. she explained the problem again, while holding back tears, to the owner and to see if there could be anything done for her because she didn’t receive the service she wanted and she was very unhappy with her appearance. the owner, very unsympathetic, said to her “ok… what do you want us to do about that…?” in a nasty, dismissive tone. not offering any solutions whatsoever nor taking responsibility or having sympathy. my sister fed up with her being dismissive and uncaring, responded with along the lines of “as an establishment, you should give me options on what you could do to resolve my issue” and the owner snapped back also with along the lines of “well as an establishment, YOU should tell me what you want done.” my sister’s final decision was to ask for a refund to where the response from the owner at first was refusing to give her one and saying “what is refund going to do? it’s not going to bring back your hair” and that response left my sister, my coworker (who was also a witness) and myself in disbelief. i’ve never met a stylist/owner of a business with such a nasty, dismissive, and unsympathetic attitude. she did say she’s sorry after but it was a very forced and obligated apology. you could hear it in her voice that she did not care whatsoever and was annoyed. the owner finally offered a refund (which she NEVER went through with) but before she did though, the owner said along the lines of “well if you REALLY think a refund is going to solve all your problems then fine…” what a disgusting response… {SEE PICTURES FOR PART 2 OF THIS REVIEW}

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I live in miami, so the salon is a drives away from me, BUT IT IS WORTH IT EVERYTIME! Isa does amazing work, she uses products that work really well with my hair, along with the fact that she explains their purpose and how they help . Every time I set an appointment with her, I know im going to be leaving with fabulous hair and with a smile on my face!

I had an excellent experience purchasing a topper from Dominique. I found her on Instagram and saw that she wore her topper in a bob style, which intrigued me because that’s the style I love the most - and somehow there’s this false idea that everyone wants a topper that’s super long, bouncy, and curly.
I followed Dom and Aura on social media before taking the plunge and contacting them to order a topper - even though I’m in the midwest and they’re in Florida! Getting an appointment was super easy and straightforward. I filled out a form online and was contacted quickly to set up an appointment for a consultation.
When I had my video call with Dom, it was clear that she understood exactly what I wanted. This woman understands wearing “helper hair.” I think the fact that she wears a topper gives her a huge advantage because she knows exactly what the struggles are, what works best, etc. I felt totally comfortable ordering a topper because I felt confident that Dom understood what I wanted.
When my topper arrived, it was truly perfect (even though Dom had only seen me over FaceTime!). The color matched my hair. The cut was PERFECTION. It is not easy to cut a bob really well and Dom is a master. I was able to clip it into my hair and go without any alterations or changes. I really love it. It’s the hair I’ve always wanted!
When I need another topper, I will return to Dom without question! I completely trust her with my hair.

I was really excited to try this salon after seeing so many rave reviews! Unfortunately my experience was not what I was expecting. I have wavy hair and wanted to try getting a curly cut for the first time so I paid for the curly experience. Part of this experience was getting an extra hair mask during washing. I was told I needed it to sit for 10 minutes then the stylist would be back. Nearly 25 minutes later she finally came back. I had my phone with me so I knew how long it had actually been and was pretty uncomfortable by that point as my head was in the sink the entire time. When she started the cut she parted my hair down the middle. I told her I never wear a middle part, only side part, so it should be cut that way. She said no it should be a middle part otherwise it will be uneven. I let her cut with a middle part but I wished I pushed back more since now my hair is very uneven since she didn’t cut it the way I part it. I get angles around my face so it’s pretty noticeable one side is much longer than the other. I always have my hair blown out after a cut so I was excited to see her style my waves like the beautiful photos I saw other people post! By the time she was done styling my hair looked WILD. I think she could tell I was unhappy and tried to calm it down more, but it was too late by that point. My hair looked so crazy I was embarrassed to be seen that way and there was SO much product in it my hair felt gross and greasy to touch. Not to mention the smell of the product was so strong it was giving me a headache. I just wanted to go home and wash everything out and restyle. She did offer to fix it more, but at that point I had been there for so long I was ready to leave. I will not be returning.

I absolutely love my new hair color!
I told Gabby that I wanted to lighten my hair so that when my roots came it, it wouldn’t be so obvious. She explained what she was going to do and assured me it would look beautiful. She fulfilled her promise. My hair looks and feels amazing!
The salon is clean and welcoming. Everyone was so nice!

Noelia is literally the most patient hairstylist I have ever had, i wasn't sure about the color I wanted and didn't know how to style my hair with the new highlights and she was thorough, understanding and incredibly kind. Highly recommended
