Last Tuesday, in a public laundry, I suffered an act of discrimination that deeply marked my day and revealed the intolerance that still persists in some places. While I was doing my laundry tasks, a woman of Haitian origin, who I have nothing against the Haitian community that is so combative, but for no apparent reason, when I was changing my bills into coins at the machine, she began to verbally attack me, hurry up The situation quickly escalated to a level of violence that I did not expect, but I decided to remain calm, clinging to my principles of respect and dignity.
What surprised me most was the reaction of the owner of the laundry. Instead of intervening to stop the abuse or trying to mediate the situation, she positioned herself on the side of the aggressor, without having clearly seen what happened. In an unexpected turn, not only did he not stop the situation, but he also joined in the insults. As if that were not enough, the owner took an even more hostile attitude towards me: she spat in my face and violently removed me from the place, without giving me the opportunity to explain or defend myself.
This act of discrimination, which was not only due to my sexual orientation but also due to my calm and respectful character, made me reflect on the lack of empathy and the need to combat these types of attitudes. Despite the pain and humiliation I felt, I decided not to lower myself to the level of my attackers. I left the laundromat with my head held high, determined to never return to a place where intolerance and hatred have a place.
My message is clear: we must never allow discrimination to be normalized, and we must not support establishments where abuse and aggression are promoted.

Machines work, didn't notice many out of order. My rating stems from the woman working there in her treatment to other patrons and myself. 1 hr left before closing she closed off practically all lanes of washers, and was pushy an hurrying up patrons to finish washing/drying. Wouldn't help another customer break down change as she counts her money behind the counter smh. I won't support this business for future use. I advise all to come earlier to avoid this kind of treatment if you still intend to come here

I would recommend this laundromat to everybody who wants their clothes clean and neat. It may sound like i’m overreacting but this laundromat will not disappoint!! The staffs are super helpful and the way they helped me out was pure gold. The laundromat mat is super clean, the machines are clean as well, the bathroom is on point always and the prices are good. it’s been my laundry since 2020 and not once have i been disappointed.
