This vet was wonderful! Our dog needed surgery right away, they took care of her immediately with no hesitation and at a very affordable cost! The staff was amazing, super sweet and super understanding of all our concerns! Thank you Best Vet!!!

We have been fortunate to have Dr Armstrong as our vet for many, many years. He has experience that can’t be minimized. He has had a great, calm approach with our pets and has helped us get them back to health whatever the issue.
My husband and I and now our kids are grateful for Best Vet and for this compassionate and professional doctor.

Initially, I was planning to never go back to this place and leave it at that. But, this situation has devolved to a point where I feel I need to share my experience.
Came to Best Vet to have my dog groomed. The first issue was that the pricing and included services on the website are not accurate. Despite the website listing anal gland expression as an included service in the Spa Bath option, the front desk staff stated it would be an additional charge (screenshot of website stating it is included attached). My second issue was the overall disposition of the front desk staff. They were very unprofessional and just generally rude. Next, I requested they trim my dogs paw pads (another additional charge), but when my partner picked up our dog her paw pads had clearly not been trimmed. Why didn't he press the issue? For a couple reasons. The staff pretended they couldn't understand his perfectly well-spoken English (which was strange as they spoke to me just fine when I dropped her off) and on top of that our dog was pulling him out the door. She was pretty frightened when he picked her up and clearly had been mishandled to warrant such a scared response. Also, she was dropped off pretty much first thing in the morning and wasn't returned to us until the late afternoon and wet! The groomer wasn't even present to answer questions about why she was still wet and why her paws hadn't been trimmed. To top the whole thing off, she developed a severe bacterial infection on multiple areas of her skin. I'm never coming back here again and I hope my review keeps other pet owners from dealing with these issues.

They really care about our pets . They have been taking care of 6 of my pets for over 6 years . Affordable and not about money . I recommend this business 100 % to all my friends and family.

They are amazing! Dr. Armstrong takes such good care of my baby and he really cares. I couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone who really wants a vet who cares and the staff is great too!

I am giving no stars! SAVE YOUR DOG. STAY AWAY. I brought my 4 yr old Golden Retriever in for no appetite for 5 days, lethargy, bleeding from her vulvar area and decreased water in take- Dr. Armstrong was in the room 4 minutes maybe! proceeds to dip urine stick on sprinkled urine on the table from the dog- say "yep! that's a lot of blood, ill get some antibiotics and lets hope that works or we need to check for a tumor". Leaves the room! Fast forward to next day- today as I am writing this- dog ended up in Animal Hospital due to failing health, losing ability to walk much and no fluid intake along with vomiting and diarrhea today. She was diagnosed with Pyometra-severely-distended uterus that was grossly infected and a grapefruit sized mass in top left uterine horn. DR ARNSTRONG AT BEST VET NEVER RAN A YRINE CULTURE, NO LAB WORK DONE, NO SCAN, X-RAY OR SCAN. HE FAILED THE VERY BASIC TESTING NEEDS OF ANY DOG IN THIS STATE. MY DOG IS NOW IN EMERGENT SURGERY AND $8500 later! DO NOT GO TO BEST VET IF YOU PLAN OF SAVING THEIR LIFE!!!

Hands down the Most Amazing experience Ever with a vet since we've moved to Boynton Beach in 2006. Accidently made an appointment for 9am on a Saturday at another vet intending to schedule with them . Even after explaining Our mixup they saw us. The waiting room seemed to be full of people and pets that were having an equally positive experience. The Dr is Awesome and the vet techs show their Love for our pets. Then the dreaded moment of the bill. Way Way less then what we expected. I can't think of us bringing Rue anywhere else. This is definitely the Best Vet. 10

What kind of "Best Vet" doesn't take walk-in appointments for pets that need care asap?
Owner Reply - I'd suggest making sure your reception staff is trained to know all that you offer then for the next time this comes up, my puppy was having a severe allergic reaction and I was turned away because the schedule was full.
I WENT TO WEST DELRAY VET INSTEAD WHO ARE SO CARING AND VERY ACCOMODATING!

I appreciate this place as it is meant to be a more affordable option therefore you are in and out in seconds as the vet books many many appointments at a time. I respect that is what works rather than charge a lot of money for a longer visit. My concern is that because he goes so fast I’m not sure he really assesses a situation properly. I came in four times since my dog had a very bad anal gland infection. He gave me two rounds of different antibiotic that were within the same class and neither worked. by the final visit, he said, just put a cone on his head and he’ll stop licking it and irritating it. When I went to a different vet, he spent a half hour with my dog, did a gland flush with an antibiotic ointment, and gave him a different antibiotic . Within 48 hours, my dog stopped bleeding from his bum.
Again, I do appreciate that it’s a more affordable option. And I would have loved to loved this vet. His team was very nice. But I don’t like how dismissive he was and that he really couldn’t do the proper treatment as he does not give himself enough time to do the proper treatment

Dr. Armstrong and his staff are amazing.. especially when all you want to do is help your animal a lot of vets try to rip you off, a lot of vets. Don’t tell you the full truth and eat around the bush. The best vet is everything the title stands, for I am So ecstatic to find this vet he is by far the best I highly recommend to anybody that is looking for a vet in the Boynton Beach location
