The staff was nice. Unfortunately they had every opportunity to get 5 stars and they blew it. They chose to not honor my free upgrade when they could have. I had a feeling they'd play this game so i even called to see what size cars were available and booked accordingly. Their hours are also garbage. I needed the car for 14 hours and paid for 48 days. Almost anywhere else would have broader hours or after hours options. Go elsewhere.

The worst AVIS/ car rental I've ever been to!! As an AVIS preferred customer I've used AVIS in many locations, but my experience at this branch has caused me to question using them again. Difficult to find, (not clearly signposted), long, inefficient check in, (excessive paperwork considering I'm already ID verified), unfriendly unhelpful and clearly overwhelmed - customer service was non- existent. (There was a disgruntled customer shouting about having been overcharged). Vehicles are parked in the mall parking, without a designated AVIS parking area. in the mall. It was raining heavily, so after trying and failing to find my vehicle I returned for direction/ assistance. I received none! By the time I found my vehicle (which was parked in such a way that the licence plate was not visible), I was soaked. Never again!!! 1 Star is too generous.

Avis workers are thieves, they debited my card for $360 and $180 for rental charges that I didn’t make. I only got back the 180 from my bank. Please do not rent from these people, my daughter said I should sue them.

Wish I could leave no stars. First off this place is hard to find they need a different address because it’s the address to the mall. Second, they have no customer service whats so ever. I called because I couldn’t find the place at 3:58 about my reservation at 4pm. The lady that answered the phone rudely told me that the computer system shut down at 4 for my particular type of rental. That makes absolutely no sense why was I able to make a reservation for 4pm if the system shuts down at 4. Do better with keeping your customers up to date because if I had known I would have got here earlier.

The worst rental experience of my life. They claim to open at 8:00 am. They saunter in after 8:15 and the two women there have major attitudes. Not only did Avis falsely advertise they take debit cards only to find out the conditions. This location which is located at a deserted mall is just a waste of time. Never getting my hardworking money. Never again.

Our family rented a car from there. They got hit by another car. Had insurance to cover everything. Provided all information to them and they still would not give them a replacement. Then they gave us phone numbers to call which were dead ends. Wasted time and money . Stay away.

The WORST experience I have EVER had at a business. The person running the counter made an already stressful situation unbearable. I confirmed with Avis that they had the car and it was ready to go AND that I could use a debit card for the transaction. I had a reservation in hand stating the time and pick up location.I cannot even put into words how truly awful this experience and this establishment was. The person I was trying to work with went from raising his voice and yelling at me (while I’m on the phone with an Avis representative, who was willing to speak with him and explain to him that I could, in fact, use a debit card to pick up a vehicle that could be used for Uber) to then completely ignoring my existence and pretending I’m not there. Of course there was no one else available to speak to.Do yourself a favor and go to the DELRAY location.(I would like to add that Avis itself has been great to work with. All of the representatives on the telephone and the other location were great. It was just the person at this location that made this a terrible experience.)

This place is a dump and so is this mall. I knew something was up when I got dropped off and there were no cars outside. We made a reservation weeks ago and they didn't have the SUV, or any SUV's. They don't stock cars here, they get delivered the night before and the day of. My reservation was for 8am and she told me cars would arrive at noon. After this terrible experience, I would highly recommend NOT renting from this location. It deserves to be closed down. I'm going back to Sixt where I rented last time and had a great experience and I should've reserved with them again.
