There was water leaking from under the washing machine , so we called appliance king . We were told the service call was $149 and would be applied toward the repair. When the tech got there he said the issue was a frozen valve behind the washing machine and would require a plumber. So he actually did nothing .Since there was no repair, we couldn’t use the $149 toward the repair. I understand a technician was dispatched to do the job and I was willing to pay something toward the call. The manager said that we had to pay the full amount as the technician diagnosed the problem. It was our understanding that the $149 would go to the repair but the manager said the diagnosis justified the cost. Be warned.

I called Appliance King late this morning and spoke with a friendly gentleman who said they could have a serviceman out to my house between 12 and 3 to look at my leaking dishwasher. A few hours later Joe called to say he would be at my home in 15 minutes. He arrived around 2:30 and looked at the dishwasher. He determined that the water leak was not coming from the dishwasher. He also looked under the sink and determined that there was no leak there. He pulled the refrigerator and saw some water between the outside wall of the house and the floor. He went outside of the house to see if he could find water intrusion from outside and he could not. He gave me some leak detection companies to call and suggested I contact my insurance company, which I have done. Joe was very kind and I feel like he did everything he could to find the leak which is most likely hidden in the wall or under the floor. Since this is not something Appliance King repairs, I was not able to use their services, but I will not hesitate to use them for an appliance repair in the future. I highly recommend this company for the quick response and their outstanding customer service.

This single worst business I’ve dealt with in my entire life. Wish there was an option for zero stars. I told them what the issue was over the phone, they said they’d said someone determine if that was the problem. Tech was here 3 minutes, agreed with what I said then proceeded to give me a $1200 quote for a $700 machine. When I said no, they changed me $119 for 3 minutes of work just to tell me the same thing I said over the phone. When I asked to have it reduced because tech was only here 3 minutes this “customer service” person threatened to call the cops. This place is a joke. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.!!!!

Joe the tech came out to replace my fan motor. He did an awesome job. Very customer focused. He also clean out the evaporator coils. This company also gave me a warranty on part for 5 years and warranty on labor for 5 years.
I will surely be calling them in future.

We called Appliance King of America on Wednesday to address a refrigerator issue. They can out on friday morning. Joe was the technician and found the problem and resolved it quickly. He was very personable and provided valuable insight on the refrigerator. Would highly recommend.

I called several repair companies this morning and wasn't happy about one thing or another that they said to me. I found Appliance King online and read the review consensus which sounded great, so I called them mid-morning. They set me up for an appointment between 11-2. Around 1 PM, I received a call from Joe, who said he'd be here in 20 minutes, which he was. He was very friendly and professional. My older refrigerator's thermostat had been on the blink for the last couple of days. He cleaned the coils, etc, and 15 minutes later called me in to show me online that many of the parts that would be needed in a normal repair are no longer available for this refrigerator. But the good news was that he thinks the unit will function just fine for a while, but I need to be prepared to replace it. I appreciated the honesty and the lack of sales pressure (as they also sell appliances). He made it work and we will see how long it lasts. I am very happy with the service I received today, although the cost of the service call was higher than others I called. But the technician and the result was worth it. Thank you, Appliance King!

This company is Amazing!! I called them because my dryer was squeaking. I placed the call at 9:30am and Ryan arrived within 2 hours and had the dryer fix in 20 minutes. Amazing!! Great Company! I will use this company again.

Refrigerator wasn’t working. Tech arrived as promised. Diagnosed the issue, ordered the part and came back to install. We were very pleased he was able to return early morning to accommodate our departure that day. Brian was courteous and professional. Had need to speak to David with an issue—that he promptly had addressed and resolved. Would happily recommend Appliance King to anyone needing appliance repair.
