We had an electrical panel in the bedroom start to smoke and smolder. We turned off power to the panel and even got the fire extinguisher ready as the whole unit was starting to fill with smoke. We called the fire department who assessed the situation and assured us that there was no fire starting. The main breaker was turned off by FPL. This was a very traumatic experience for us, as we thought our place was going to go up in flames. There are 3 additional condos adjacent to our unit, which made the situation worse, as we were worried about those units as well. This all happened around 9 PM.We searched for electricians on Google and found Volts, who had good reviews. We first spoke to an answering service. The gentleman was very polite. He took our information, including phone number, email, name, address, etc. A short time after, a technician called us. We explained the problem, that we needed emergency service as we had no power and needed breakersreplaced (according to the fire department).The technician told us that the person on call did not have breakers on him, but they could come first thing in the morning. He said they would have to go to the shop in the morning at 8 am, get the breakers and then drive to us which would take approximately 45 minutes. He would be at our unit by 9 am. He told us this was his personal cell phone number and we could call him anytime.We were desperate and just glad someone could help us.The next morning we texted the technician at 8am just to get an updated ETA. Crickets. We then called the technician and left a message. Crickets. We called the number on the website and spoke to an answering service who assured us he would find out what happened and someone would call us. Crickets. After we heard nothing, and now the agreed upon time of 9 am had passed, we called the service once again and cancelled the whole call. We found a company who was able to come out within the hour without empty promises. We feel this is bad customer service, and hope it won’t happen to someone else.

I had a great experience with Volts Electric , they installed a 220 line for a irrigation pump. They gave a free estimate and explain in detail what would be done, scheduling was prompt and they showed up in a timely manner. There was no hidden cost or add ons to the pricing. Job was done neat & clean.I would recommend this company & will use them again in the near future.

When my house lost total power I called seven companies and I'm so happy to have found Vault Electric Danny the owner was just amazing as well as his technicians they discovered the problem within minutes and we're out of here in 45 minutes what an amazing job I totally recommend anybody to use both Electric anytime they need electrical work done thank you Danny so so very much you are so blessed happy Veterans Day thank you again more than you can even know thank you

When I called and asked if they had someone able to come out on that day and if not I needed someone first thing the next day because after a lightning strike half of my house lost electricity because of a bad outlet from the arch. I tried replacing the breaker myself to make sure it didn't blow the fuse and I informed the electrician of this once they arrived. I knew already that the fuse was good and I mentioned this to the electrician twice and said ot had to be something else. He says okay okay and messes around with his trainee (I assume) because the other kid spoke little English and just walked around and watched while the other guy talked to him in Spanish. After about an hour all they had done was replace the 15amp fuse with a 20amp fuse, wired it with a different gaged piece of wire and wired it backwards. Customer service at the office is great, the "manager" who called me back and basically called me a liar and only offered to return my 15amp fuse that the electrician drove off with, oh yeah I forgot to mention that part. That perfectly good fuse I had left with them for some reason, never even told me.

Very bad experience with estimator. Rude. Never said hi, broke tile around examining sockets, visibly frustrated, grunting, what a terrible service. Felt unsafe when I asked him what was making him frustrated, he walked up to me 1 foot from my face and said WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?Very very very bad company and technician verbally and physically hostile. Should NEVER happen in my OWN HOME.

Juan did an outstanding job! He arrived 2 minutes prior to the appointment window, was very polite and helpful, and fixed the problem. Quality service with a friendly face! Win-win.UPDATE! Alex came back when our problem resurfaced. He contacted me in advance to tell me when he was 10 minutes out and then arrived at the front end of the time window. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and what may have to occur if the problem continues… all-in-all a great experience!
