“I am staying in Naples post- hurricane helene which hit in St.Pete, and my dog was having possible coughing (reverse sneezing) and I wanted to rule out kennel cough. The front office staff over the phone were so accommodating and gave me sympathy for the situation. It was a seamless and stress free visit. The vet tech and vet were so friendly and everybody was welcoming. Their pricing is very fair. I highly recommend this animal hospital and 10 Stars to them for their professionalism.”

“Amazing practice. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Andrew and his wonderful staff! My Sheepadoodle Scout had a lot of issues as a puppy and Dr. Andrew handled them with such care and kindness. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and to answer any questions you may have. Trust me, I always have a lot to ask! We are so grateful to be part of this gem of a practice.
Thank you! Dr. Andrew for caring for my baby Scout!”

“I took our little cocka-poo to get her ear checked out since it's been bothering her lately and looked infected. I'm SO glad I chose Bonita Veterinary Hospital as the staff were super-nice, the receptionist got us in right away and the doctor was informative & thorough. I definitely recommend this Vet. The price was reasonable with no surprises and fine print, unlike other places in our area. Two thumbs up!”

“My beloved companion Ruby was diagnosed with Mast Cell cancer. I did a lot of research as to the best canine oncologist and found FETCH, Dr. Kosarek. Being an Oncology nurse myself I was looking for straight answers. I found the staff very attentive and kind during this difficult time. I could not have ask for a better doctor than Dr. Kosarek. She explained all the treatment options in detail, and expected outcomes along with possible side effects. She also explained Ruby’s current lab work which was done at the time of the appointment. The cost of each option and follow up were explained and estimated costs. The clinic was very easy to reach and got me answers generally within the hour. Ruby is doing well at the moment and we have a follow up in a couple of weeks. I will pray for all of our fur babies. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of FETCH to treat my best friend, Ruby.”

“Our senior cat developed kidney issues & we needed a nearby vet in this area. Dr. Gregory was absolutely wonderful & provided some solid, practical advice, along with effective treatment plans. He also has some great & compassionate staff. Thanks to him, Shiraz lived far longer than we had expected. We will be back as soon as we find a new one to love.”

“Our beloved 8 yr old Bassador(Basset hound Labador mix) Angel, 'overnight' loss the use of her back legs. We called our Vet (Davis Blvd Vet) and she suggested that we skip her and go directly to the ER . She said that would end up being her diagnosis on loss of rear legs, so we are much appreciative of her honesty.

At SW Fl Vet Specialist we got in right away and doc gave us the various possibilities including euthanasia ...We were given some meds and a time line of when she should be showing improvement. Doc didn't sugar coat it as most Dogs experiencing this never regain their back legs. There is the back surgery to repair disc damage...but that is in the $10-13,000 range...and there is no guarantee it may return or not get better at all. Most dogs experiencing this only live 6-12 months....

We have had a few dogs in my family have this problem over the past 50+ years and we have had great success with Tuna in Vegetable oil. Dogs love it and its easy to hide meds in. We are praying between the meds (gabapentin for the nerves and a muscle relaxer ) that Angel can get some improvement. Else...we are going to try wheels. We believe you cant put down any living thing if its still capable of showing love.... Angel shows her love in her eyes and her attempts at 'speaking' so we are remaining hopeful.

I recommend the SWFL Vet.Specialist as a good practice to take your pet in an emergency. Warning up front. They are pricey, but can you put a dollar amount on your pet?”

“About a year ago, my 4 year old cat had to be rushed to the hospital. Took him to Blue Pearl in Ft. Myers, they told us there he has a severe heart condition and he needs to see a cardiologist and recommended this place as it's the only animal hospital with a cardiologist specialist. (Blue Pearl charged me 3500$ to keep my cat on oxygen and take X-rays). We had another emergency a week before our scheduled appointment with the cardiologist and took him here directly. That visit they treated him the same as blue pearl (he had to be on oxygen for 2 days longer here than blue pearl) and I paid 1700$. For all the people complaining about the money, take it from someone who's had multiple pet emergencies (more than what I just listed) and have gone to multiple places.. money is not an issue here. It's going to be expensive anywhere you go. This place charges THE LEAST. They DO care about the animals. Just because not all of your animals survive DOES NOT mean they don't care. THINGS HAPPEN. Long story short my cat did not make it as we had a 3rd emergency rush to the hospital for his heart problem and he passed on the way there. I never once felt these people wanted to take all my money. I always felt they wanted to help. Every interaction I had with any employee there was pleasant. Keep in mind when reading these negative reviews you're only getting one side of the story and I think we all know how people can be. Take it with a grain of salt.”
