Our dog Ace, is a reactive dog, specifically for my wife. Going on daily walks with him was a struggle and he was barking and lunging at all distractions that were passing by. Sit Means Sit taught my wife and I how to give Ace more confidence so that he doesn’t react to the distractions. He is a completely different dog and the trainers/ process are amazing! Thank you Sit Means Sit!

Sit Means Sit changed our lives! Our dog Bodie would not be the disciplined and respectful "Goofball" he is today without the hardwork and patience of the SMS team. They made training Enjoyable for him and us. We have attended group classes and daycare for a few years and he gets to have FUN in a supervised, safe, and structured environment. "Hardwork and follow through lead to success!"

Sit Means Sit's guidance has been suc a help. As we were told, Sandi is less needy and anxious when we work her a few times a day & longer sessions before we leave her. She finds her calm place when we have been working her. She is better socialized sround other dogs & doesn't jump on people. A huge improvement. Thank you! We're still a work in progress and appreciative of the progress!A challenged dog is a happy dog.

I can’t say enough about Sit Means Sit! I have a 3 year and 1 year old Lab that are both full of energy. The first day I walked in with them, they almost pulled me down as we walked through the door. They have had multiple private lessons and have also attended daycare and are SO much better. They have their moments, but overall they listen and respond to the commands they have learned. Whenever I am struggling with something, Alexis and team are always there to help and give advice. My pups still need training, but I never thought I would get them so far! Thanks to Alexis and the entire Sit Means Sit team! ♥️

I can’t say enough great things about Alexis and Sit Means Sit.We rescued brother and sister goldendoodles at Christmas. They were a year old and had been neglected. We could give them plenty of love and attention, but how do you also teach discipline? We heard about Sit Means Sit and Alexis from the woman who helped us with the rescue. We brought our pups to Alexis, she reviewed them and recommended a 10 day stay. It was hard to give them up so soon after we got them, but I wanted to do what was ultimately the best for my pups.Alexis stayed in touch by messages and posting pictures constantly. They looked so happy and were learning so quickly! The 10 days flew by, the difference in them was night and day. They obeyed all basic commands and it was up to US to continue to enforce and practice. It was fun and rewarding.Since then we go back for refresher classes as often as we can, they are held several times a week. The pups also go to ‘Camp Lexis’ when we travel. They love her and they love going there. They always come home well groomed, well taken care of and very well behaved. The pups are now 18 months old. The sit on command, they heal, they place (for long periods of time) they also walk off leash. We are a happy family because of Alexis and her team!!!Thank you, thank you!Meridee, Finn and Phoebe.

We LOVE sit means sit! Our dog Maverick would definitely not be the obedient pup he is turning out to be without his incredible and patient trainers. Mahala and Alexis has definitely made our lives so much better than it was before he attended his training at sit means sit . We even used them for board and train while we are on our trip to Jamaica since he is now comfortable being with his trainer humans he knows and trusts . Thanks so much!

My pup, Ace, is a reactive dog who truly just wants to be loved. Sit Means Sit has helped him channel his focus and be able to live a happy life with boundaries. I was a very frustrated pup owners with my dog terrorizing the neighborhood every time we went on a walk. The trainers helped me to understand and learn techniques to help get Ace’s attention before the reaction. I have had so many neighbors tell me they are so impressed on how he is doing and we haven’t even been training him that long. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit! Trainers are fantastic and the process works!

We have been working with SMS since a year now and to begin with it was a great experience. Our dog and we learnt alot and we actually got the expensive board and train packages. At the time of purchasing we were told that we will have unlimited group classes but this was far from reality. We go out of our way drive 60 mins just because we liked SMS and the trainer. The office called me one day to get credit card information and when asked what it was for I was told they were going to charge $10 for a group class. On further questioning I was told our group class pass had expired and they will be charging going forward. Mind you we were told we have “60 credits that never expired” with the package we purchased. My dog attended atleast 2-3 classes after the said “3 months” were completed and NOT once did the office tell us that we needed to purchase credits. It was only informed when she called to take the payment AFTER the class. Requested to speak with the owner and she said they did us a “favor” for not charging us beyond the 3 months until now (hardly 2-3 classes), she did NOT seem interested in retaining clients and straight up asked if we wanted to close our account with them and we sure did. There were quite a few red flags with this office and lot of trainer turn over which we kindly ignored because they seemed like nice people. Their group class schedule is a joke and not friendly for folks that work full time leaving with just 1 group class for weekends which do get cancelled a lot, daycare days are also very very limited. They also charge you if you schedule and miss a group class and they do not even give you a credit. We purchased a 2 class CGC eval and test and only used one but we are happily going to forego one as we not interested in continuing with this facility. The owner is quite rude and not willing to work with existing clients. We have been to other SMS in different cities and they are nothing like this one, this one is horrible due to bad management. Owner and mgmt is money-minded and not client centric. Bad customer service!

Our golden retriever puppy has been coming here for 8 months. All of their services are high quality and reasonably priced. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and goes out of their way to help. Our dog has built so much confidence and is very well behaved. We have built our confidence as dog owners as well. We fully trust them and it has been the best experience we’ve ever had with dog training.

My doodle Teddy has been going to Sit Means Sit in Bonita for several months. We began with day trains and have been doing group classes. Alexis and her staff are the absolute best! They genuinely love what they do and strive for the best training experience for the dog and owner. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to learn how to train their fur babies.

We love sit means sit. Our dog is still the same goofball but she seems happier and more confident since training. They also asked us about everything we needed help with and adapted all of the training for our needs.

I have gotten so many compliments on my dogs behavior and demeanor and I love recommending this facility to everyone that’s met her. They changed what it was like to have a dog and in less than a month she was well behaved and more confident.I would recommend to anyone looking for a training facility. All of the trainers go above and beyond and they are very knowledgeable. It is also an extremely clean and calm facility, by far my favourite part of the week is visiting for group classes every Friday !
