I just love it here, but wish the rooms had microwaves, and that my job would give men separate rooms? Gates.

Do not sleep on this resort! The grounds are gorgeous with several pools to choose from, a lazy river and water slides, plenty of restaurants and bars and a coffee/ice cream shop. We’d come back in a heartbeat, it was difficult to leave.
Just like anything, we figured things out just as our trip came to an end but here’s a few tips-
Self park in the garage, it’s cheaper
Once you park in the garage, find the other door to the grotto and use the P level for your trip. You can access the pool and garage easily and probably won’t run in to too much interference since you’re avoiding the lobby.
Cool off in the waterfall pool, it’s so refreshing!
On your lounge chairs, there’s a flag you can raise that will alert the staff you’d like food/drinks and they’ll come by to take your order and bring them right to you
Get a pool view room, it’s unbelievable
Take the ferry to the island (make a resy online) and look for the dolphins! Listen to the captain when he tells you where to look, thanks Al and Mike!
There’s an arcade and a restaurant that probably don’t get too much traffic, find those if you please
Walk the grounds at night, it’s so peaceful and pretty
Enjoy yourself and thank me later
The staff was great! It did get busy by the pools on Saturday (since they had over 200 day passes!) and the island was busier on Sunday but we always found a lounge chair and didn’t have any difficulty getting food or drinks.

Great Place. Clean. Lots to do at and around the Hotel. Friendly Staff. I would strongly suggest giving them a try.
Nearby activities: Right down the street from The Coconut Mall and not too far from Bonita Beach.

Long story short…bugs and rude
Pulling up to Coconut Palms I was taken back by its beauty and grandor. The bellhop that greeted us was patient and kind. Being a nomad I was excited to take a break from my typical budget hotels and treat myself to a nice getaway, at least that’s what I thought. But that’s where this fairytale ends.
Upon entering there was a line of five deep with only two people checking people in. I wouldn’t normally care but I’ve worked hard to hold status at this hotel, which should entitle me to a faster check in line. No such line existed but yet there was multiple staff members just mingling around the lobby. It took me over 30 minutes to get checked in.
Upon entering my room it appeared beautiful. Everything seemed clean and in good order. I noticed a bug but thought “hey it’s Florida, there is construction going on next door. No big deal”
After attending the event I was in town for, and enjoying the lazy river, I went back to my room to find a lot more bugs. When I asked a few of the other participants if they had bugs they did as well. Immediately, three different people said yes and showed me multiple bug bites. I felt lucky that at least the bugs in my room were not biting me. (At first)
One woman came down to the lobby at 2am to get a new room because the bugs were so bad in hers. They didn’t have a comparable room and only offered her a refund for her night. They told her she would get her room by 11AM. She did not get it until 2pm. This woman is a stage 4, terminal breast cancer patient. She went all night with no sleep because of the shameful bug ridden acts of the Hyatt.
At checkout I brought it up to the staff. They said it was probably the “no see em” bugs. I showed video and they took off our resort and parking fees. After my review on Hyatt they did give me free points but keep telling me there are no bugs. I have video of the bugs in the room I sent them. (Google won’t let me upload a video so I did screen shots. The black things are moving bugs in the videos).
If Hyatt hadn’t of been gaslighting my experience with bugs I wouldn’t be posting publicly as I was satisfied with what I received as compensation. The fact they keep saying there were no bugs when there is proof from not only myself but others as well really bothers me. This should not be allowed to be called a Hyatt and it’s a shame as the amenities of this hotel are amazing, it’s just the bugs, slow elevators, and rude front desk staff that are not.
Beyond the bugs the elevators where extremely slow, the front desk staff was rude and unprofessional, and I couldn’t wait to leave.

My stay at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa was awesome. The pools, lazy river, and waterslides were super fun, and the private island beach was a cool bonus. The rooms were comfy, and the staff was really friendly. It’s got a nice mix of relaxing vibes and fun activities, so it’s great for families or just a laid-back getaway. I’d totally recommend it!

Absolutely love This hotel. We are locals and have been coming for years through Resort pass for daily trips to the resort pool. We decided to book a weekend stay for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very clean, rooms seemed to be spotless and bathroom was updated. Friendly staff, elevators are fast, and pool is amazing.
There were only 2 downsides to the resort.
We had room service and food was subpar for such a high price and my order was wrong , but they corrected it and went above. At the pool bar we also ate, yet again subpar food for a high price.
By the pool /in the lazy river there were many glasses , cans and plastic cups , most where unfinished alcoholic drinks that the parents where just leaving around. One particular glass sat for the entire weekend in the lazy river half finished.
Michael U was very professional and made sure concerns were addressed and i was heard. Thank you sir.

Awesome 4 day (3 night stay). Austin at the front desk was prompt and recognized myself by name each time. Great room with an amazing fountain view! The kiddo loved the water park and the beach. The shuttle boat captains were engaging and professional. Even got some dolphins to tag along so that was a great free treat! The corkscrew bar staff also are amazing! Professional and courtesy to myself and daughter. Always called us by our last names. Drinks and food were great (epically the fish tacos). Some of the activities like the kids camp costs extra as well as some of the day to day activities. There was a little dance party Saturday night that lead to some fun memories. The pillows in the room are a little flat, but we had zero issues getting some more. Tarpon
Bay food was great and the sea bass melted in your mouth. All in all a great place to stay, relax, enjoy a cigar!

This was the third time staying here over the past few years. Arrived Saturday evening around 6pm only to find out our reservation was given away. Had to wait for a different room to be cleaned while we had dinner on property which the Manager picked up. When we booked the trip we were unaware it was going to be a Zoo like atmosphere throughout the lobby, lower lobby and outdoor pool area. Kids and loud music blaring everywhere from Hotel organized events. After traveling all day it was the last thing we expected. Saturday and Sunday were about the same with the volume of guest, finally things began to thin out on Monday and Tuesday as they all left to go back to school. We did enjoy Tarpon Bay which was closed for remodeling during our last stay. The pool area was nicely kept, Steve the Valet is always first class, and the breakfast staff at Tanglewood were friendly and attentive. The Manager Sherri worked things out for us helping smooth out a bumpy start.
