The staff here really care about the situations of every individual. If they can't help with a certain problem, they can direct you to who can.

This is amazing what is offered to anyone having a problem and in need some government assistant. They are a charity organization, very friendly no one will make you feel sad or uncomfortable I cannot express this enough. They accept donations to dispense through their food pantry. Stop by to say hello and see a charity organization at work.. Amen to these EMPLOYEES and volunteers for Bonita Springs. What a gift to our city. Thank-you.

I have always been a supporter of Bonita Springs Assistance Office and referred people to them that were struggling due to hard times and they always got the help they needed. I worked hard and until recently held a great job for 17 years. My fiance had his 2nd heart attack in 2015 was uninsured and was told he was in the ending stages of congestive heart failure and would need a new heart in 4 years, he is also diabetic. My entire savings went to his medical expenses I picked up a second job on top of my 60 plus hour a week salaried job to make ends meet. When he had his 3rd severe heart attack in 2018 and wasnt expected to survive by some miracle and the help of great Doctors and bystanders that performed CPR on him for 10 minutes until paramedics arrived he woke up 2 days later. I had to take care of him and we no longer had the finances and life we once had but his health and great attitude made not having money ok, he went on disability which wasnt much but allowed us to live. He has always helped those less fortunate then him and would give someone the last 20$ out of his pocket if they were worse off, I reassured him good things happen to good people and we'd be ok. Our home in bonita started to need repairs that were to costly on one income and we lost our home to foreclosure. His disability was cancelled temporarily to await medical review that can take up to 4 months to reinstate. He was too proud to ask for help and a little embarrassed but he made his way to Bonita Springs Assistane Office when things hit bottom. Their staff was kind, empathetic and helped us the best that they could. A little goes a long way when your life has been turned upside down. They are there for people in crisis and will help those that have nowhere else to turn to. We had to wait a little bit but to us that's ok because it was worth the small amount of time in our lives to talk to people face to face that have a job they love and is all about helping people that really truly need their help. Teri and LydMarie were very kind. Sandy the volunteer in the food bank was super helpful taking us around and helping us select items. We were never uncomfortable and felt a sigh of relief leaving that maybe things were going to be ok. This is a great organization to support, donate to and go if you are really in crisis. They have the resources to help and great programs to get people lives back on track. If you are expecting a permanent solution for lifes problems they can help you get a great start to overcome those issues but it's up to you to better your situation. Once things get better we will definitely make it a point to give back so the next person that walks into their doors feeling hopeless has the same experience we did. Thank You BSA!

This agency supports the residents of Bonita Springs with temporary assistance who are effected by a crisis. I am a proud supporter of this organization and am encouraged by the way this organization empowers its clients.
