So today I take my mom to have her oil changed. I suggest this company, I've never been there, however, I'm a big believer in shop local. We checked reviews and most seem great. Well, this man was condescending and not friendly at all. We kept it short and sweet. Basic oil change, no frills. This dude comes up top after they start to do the service, to ask if he can cut a hole in the protective cover that is mounted on the undercarriage of the vehicle. It's held up by thumbtack style plastic clips that if removed properly are a simple pop in pop out.? he goes on to state these wearout and can make it sag, So, let's just cut a hole in it?? Saves time makes it easier on him. He made sure to explain just how hard those extra 2mins would effect him... We're both just dumbfounded and say no. He then agrees to doing it this time. But, if the line was busy he'd have to refuse service... BTW, I drive by this location daily. They have never, that I've seen, ever have more then one car in the bay and maybe one parked for the next change. He then goes back under, frustrated because we clearly will not agree to damage the vehicle, Rips the last few tabs loose instead of properly removing them, and then has the nerve to come back up with the tabs and says yep see hear, a few broke. When I heard him rip the last few tabs free without properly releasing the center that holds the tab on, I request we just replace the cover, we'll go elsewhere. His coworker clearly realized we were concerned about this guy and trys and plays nice to calm us and his coworker... he was actually not too difficult and seemed like a good guy. He was trying to defuse his co worker, who came out the gate cocky at the first exchange of conversation. He was clearly trying to keep the customer happy. He's the only reason I didn't flip my lid or go off on this dude.
We allowed him to finish because he states, no, no, it's off, wasn't too hard to take off. They finish the service ring us up..... $75? ? That price was absolutely insane especially after this punk breaks clips and has a trashy attitude!
Today was the first and last time we will ever give this shop our money again. I'm not sure if it matters to anyone but we were driving a 2023 Nissan. Thank you Nissan for the protective cover that is mounted on the undercarriage too extend the life of the vehicle and protect it from the occasional road hazards we all hate running over when unseen. So anyways..... I wouldn't recommend this place to a single soul. Especially after the horrible condescending attitude. If anything, I'll make sure anyone looking for a suggestion on this type vehicle service, steers clear of this shop. ?
I'm curious if this dude is the owner or what... if not the owner, I wonder if they know this man is ignorant and clearly has an attitude problem. He was a short, round man, with long oily looking hair, ungroomed and in no way professional looking.

It is always outstanding service n hospitality every time I go to the Swifty Lube in Bonifay for an oil change. Great service and competitive prices. They'll have you in and out in no time and they know you by name. No one else can compare. Visit Mr. Jordan and crew, to find out for your self.

This is a friendly place. Service was quick, & efficient! BUUUT........
The price of ONLY an oil change was way to high. ($50.00!!) Nothing else, JUST an oil change!
I'll have to do some research, see if that's the NEW inflated price everywhere!

Every time I come back to Bonifay I go to swift lube to get my oil changed. Because the guys that work there are so super nice and they take care of me. I will all was go to them for my oil change. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
