I had a foreign parcel that was miss delivered. I went to Post Office. The carrier had scanned parcel but apparently put in wrong box. I waited about 2 working days after notice of delivery via phone without receiving parcel. . The USPS acting manager related the carrier scanned parcel delivered. They would not acknowledge parcel was or could have been miss delivered. She told me to claim insurance on parcel. She related the delivery carrier investigated and said he delivered parcel. I believe carrier miss delivered to neighbor who doesn’t return miss delivered mail or parcels. I asked for USPS to investigate with Postal Inspectors. They referred me to Consumer Complaints. They said they would investigate and respond within 2 to 3 working days, they didn’t. I returned to Bokeelia USPS where the acting manager again told me the parcel was scanned delivered, “You have no complaint. “ I also had no parcel. So following tracking it was delivered. It seems ironic that a parcel tracked half way across earth was miss delivered in the last mile.Hell, the last inchs of delivery. USPS mailers beware. I worked for the USPS for 32 years and can’t get my parcel delivered correctly. USPS doesn’t care! I will never send mail I can reroute to UPS, FedEx or via my computer or phone. .

The only post office I know that's closed on Saturday. I realize we live on an island and on island time, but that's no excuse to not be open until at least noon, like every other post office in the country. You screw me out of product needed for my business by not being open on the day it's supposed to be delivered.

I was missing a package for over a month and half . I worked with the post master Crystal who guided me through red tape of the USPS, which was quite a challenge. She stayed on the case and successfully helped me get a refund! Great to someone willing to go the extra yard! Thanks!
