We bought some fresh fish here. I believe it was a red mullet and a snapper. The highlight was seeing UNO the dolphin.

1st visit to Marina which is undergoing complete renovation. New store ,fish market & Freedom boat club location. Excellent quick access to Southern Charlotte harbor - Pine Island sound. Very secluded peaceful with that "Old Florida" feel that we Floridians Love & miss! Definitely returning!

I had heard rumors about the mullet dip. They are all true! Fabulous stuff, especially if you add some capers and sharp cheddar cheese! Friendly staff tolerated us showing up at closing and didn't give us any attitude except a friendly one. Oh and the nearly tamed dolphin is a bonus.

Great lil place to get the very best fried mullet sandwiches on weekends. Definitely not a restaurant. Fresh fish and other seasonal seafood. Bait shrimp.

So we caught our ride out to cabbage key from here. Pretty cool place but definitely no frills. We had capt Rick who had some cool stories and was a darn good skipper of the boat. We thought it would be a narrated trip but it wasn't. We did try to see some manatees but they never showed. We did see lots of dolphins and even got a show from them on the way back. The video is incredible. Capt Rick gave a good tip which is to take a video of the dolphins and not pictures as the disappear so quick you can't catch them but a video will.
