I have had many shoes repaired breings I was a New Yorker for many years. And we do a lot of walking in nyc! My very favorite shoes were totally in disrepair. Biut along came Guy’s Shoe Repair. He made my favorite shoes look BRAND NEW !
This place is amazing and they are so very nice to deal with. Waiting for my next two pairs to arrive!

I took my Valentino shoe in to have the strap repaired. They said they could do it. 6 months later I got the shoe back with the heel ripped apart and the strap completely removed. The shoes were new and they destroyed them. Nothing was wrong with the heel which they admitted was a mistake on their part. You can even see where they wrote on the tag, “heel block was attached before.” Then they had the audacity to want to charge me $100 to fix the damage they did. $700 shoes down the drain. Gave them back to me 6 months later destroyed.
Great business practices. I give them a negative ten.

Update: I am happy to report that the owner addressed my issues with the zipper and the new one looks great! Thank you so much!
I brought in a Louis Vuitton tote to have the zipper repaired or replaced. I chose to have it replaced. I was charged over $180 but they did not replace the zipper. All they did was re-secure the end of the zipper so it wouldn't come apart. So disappointed!

Visiting from small town out of state (with no shoe repair shops), so this was a rush job on four pairs of dress shoes, three men's (Cole Hann and Johnston & Murphy) and one women's, mostly needing work on heels but one pair of men's shoes worn through the outer sole at the ball of the foot. All the work is beautifully done and was completed on time. Excellent work.
