I had a 5:00 Appointment they didn’t have me in the book,I proved that I had this appointment from their text, they sent me. “ well your not in the book we can’t take you” The dog only needed his last shot. Very unprofessional it was their mistake but I have to come back. Adios

Words cannot express our feelings about this practice. They are phenomenal. From the girls at the front , to the vet techs, to the amazing doctors ,there are just no words. I don't think anyone should go anywhere else because they're the best of the best!!!

I was a customer for about 3/4 years, paying a monthly plan the entire time. I spent 2 years with my dog having an inflamed ear without a solution for it, always giving me the same excuse every time “your dog is allergic, that's how it is”, and keeping the same medication which they knew it wasn’t working. They never investigated, never showed any concern or interest in solving the problem. They just dragged along. They never asked for an allergy test to have a more appropriate treatment for my dog, they just keep throwing in a bunch of medicines without looking for a better solution. Totally uninterested. We only observed the terrible service and lack of interest in actually taking care of the dog when we looked for another veterinarian clinic. During the first consultation, She asked me for allergy tests to find out exactly what they are so that we can have adequate treatment and not have to take a bunch of vaccines to mask the allergy like they were doing at Pet Medical Center. She discovered the type of fungus that same week and carried out the correct treatment. My dog has been completely pain free and with a healthy ear for 8 months now, without needing medication.
After I discovered that the heart vaccine pet medical was giving me to give to my dog was banned here in the USA for years, due to thousands of animal deaths, was the last straw for me. They never informed me about the effects or the risks of this vaccine. To top it off, their service is terrible and there is no communication. They prioritize money over your pet's health.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Dr. Hughes since he was a puppy & he got diagnosed with ITP while Dr. Haskin was the relief doctor. He did everything he could to make sure my dog was okay, gave me updates throughout the day before diagnosing him, prescribing meds & sending him home. We started seeing Dr. Hughes again after Dr. Haskin left, he’s always so kind & makes sure Max is comfortable during our visits.
They’re prices are affordable, the office/exam rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly. Lauren & Kylee at the front desk always remember Max. Highly recommend! :)

Dr. Hughes is the ultimate best vet! Dr. Roof diagnosed my Maltese with heart murmur and sadly it did develop into heart conditions. I’m thankful for Roof and Hughes as they gave me an added year and half with my fur baby. When it was time to put her down Dr. Hughes offered me much comfort in such a difficult time. My second dog Henry, sadly passed away 6 months later and Dr. Roof was able to help me during that time as I was split between Florida and Georgia. They are both some of the greatest vets I’ve ever experienced in my life. Currently my rescue, Niko is under their care. I treat my animals like I would my children so they get nothing but the best in medical care. Love Pet Medical center and I recommend all my friends with pets to them.

Dr. Hughes is a kind and caring veterinarian. Always so attentive and aware of what my two dogs need. I get their insurance and save tons of money a year. But the best of all is to see he cares so much for my baby furs because he loves animals. As all vets should. dr Hughes is very professional and thinks ahead instead of reacting. Get the insurance and trust his abilities.

We came to this office for several years and recently had a super disappointing experience which caused us to immediately switch to a different office. My senior dog has a heart condition and is on several medications. I received a call two weeks ago that they were not refilling his prescription until we bring him in for his biyearly bloodwork. However, when I asked for an appointment for that week, I was told that nothing was available. Fast forward to this week (after a family emergency) I call again to schedule my appointment sometime within the next couple of days. I’m told that there’s only ONE time slot, right in the middle of the day. I work full time and have a small child in elementary school. I asked for a 5 day extension for his meds so I can make an appointment for next week, I’m told no in the most obnoxiously rude way. They would rather my dog go without any of his heart medications for several days than give me a few days worth until I can be seen. I found a new doctor that was highly recommended and was appalled by this. He has incredibly kind and helpful support staff and much better availability. A bit of understanding, flexibility and human decency would not have caused harm to my dog.

THE WORST VET. Avoid at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been taking my dog to pet medical for a few years for regular vaccines and checkups and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately my dog became ill. I took my dog in to be seen by a vet. The dog had pooped what looked to be mushy blood. I took that in as well. The person who I assumed was the vet took his temp and saw he had a fever as well. They said they would do tests but also give vaccines that were due with out my asking. When I questioned if it would be a good idea to vaccinate given the fever the vet said it was fine. They brought the dog back in to me and gave me some medicine for diarrhea and special food. My dog did not get better and few days later seemed even worse. I called to see if I could bring him back in for an urgent visit but they told me they had no appts available. I then took my dog to an emergency vet with the paperwork I was given from pet medical. At the er they gave pain meds l, fluids meds for nausea/diarrhea. They could keep him over nite for $3200. Or I could take home and go see reg vet the next day. Being unsure I choose to take him home and go early the next morn for an appt I had scheduled. The vet I saw that day at pet medical had me leave him there to run tests and give fluids. I was told they would call me with results. I did receive a call. They left a message saying the dog was very ill. He had severe pancreatis and colitis and had to be hospitalized. They thought they hung up but did not and I could hear in the message the vet and vet tech mocking me saying” oh, she didn’t want to spent $3000 last nite so today she will just have to spend $4000 and chuckling. I picked my dog up and took him to Calusa animal hospital where he received excellent care and the staff could not have been kinder. I was upset that my dog had not been tested by pet medical when I first took him and called them to share this along with my displeasure at their complete lack of empathy and rudeness of their message left ion my phone. Dr Hughes called me and was going over their side when he mentioned a vets name that he said I saw on my first visit. It was a man’s name. At no point on that visit did I speak with a man. Apparently I had only been dealing with an assistant. Who I mistakenly presumed was a doctor. Furthermore they did apparently run a test on that first visit and it was positive for pancreatitis. The assistant never mentioned this diagnosis to me nor was it reflected in the report I was sent home with and took with me to the emergency vet on my first visit there. If they had told me then the correct diagnosis and given appropriate care, my dog would never gotten as ill as he got, requiring days of hospitalization to the tune of $7000 and suffered needlessly. I asked per medical to credit me back what I had spent there for their inept care and unprofeessionalism in general. They have never got back to me and are now avoiding my calls and emails. The worst experience I have ever had as a dog owner of over 30 years.. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!!

Such an amazing group here at Pet Medical Center, from the Doctors to the Nurses everyone there handled My Boss with such care and compassion that really eased my worries for his final visits and treatments. Never felt pressured and they were always looking out for Boss and my Family’s wellbeing.

My Italian Greyhound has been using Tim at Boca Medical center for 4 years and I couldn’t be more happy. We are on the Gold wellness plan which takes care of everything that my little guy needs as well as dental cleanings. He is sweet knowledgeable and extremely thorough. The staff is also super accommodating as well!!
